I want to be a mermaid! Jenny has been searching for her best friend Carly for two years. She spots a young boy heading into the sea and when she tries to rescue him she ends up in Orion’s world. It’s a magical world where two boys want a mom, Orion needs a wife and the Sea Witch looks to cause more trouble. When Jenny dies, the trident’s magical powers turn her into a mermaid and so much fun begins. There were some fun moments and it was quite funny when Jenny and Carly meet up again. Drago and Orion are long suffering husbands – lol!.
Awesome read!
I’m enjoying the extended versions of the Seven Kingdoms adult fairy tales.
Orion and Jenny are a wonderful couple but I adore Dolph and Juno.
I won’t fib, I think Ashure’s story is going to be really good. I’m guessing that will be awhile.
We are getting Ms Smiths trademark humour and entertaining characters in this fun fantasy story.
Another fantastic and interesting read from Ms Smith. This review is for the extended version which I loved.
This is book two in the wonderful and mythical Seven Kingdoms series. I was one of the lucky few who was able to read the original short version of this story and the ones that followed.
Ms Smith has once again proven how clever she is by taking a short fun read for her fans that just scratched the surface of a story and turning it into this great read.
This story goes so much deeper than the fun version and gives us so much more about everything and everyone. I feel like I am getting to know these people and their emotions.
The blurb covers the gist of the story. Jenny is Carly’s best friend and she has never given up believing Carly is still alive. When she follows a young boy into the sea thinking he is in trouble, she is taken to a whole new world full of fairy-tale like characters.
Finding herself getting married to Orion, the boys’ father to save the young boy from the sea witch’s clutches, starts a magical adventure for Jenny.
Really am loving Ashure the pirate and I feel sorry for Magna the sea witch, which I never did previously. We get more of Magna’s internal struggle against the evil controlling her and how she is fighting it. I am starting to think of her as an unsung heroine.
More depth with Orion and Jenny’s relationship, Jenny may have married in haste but they are getting to know each other and become a family.
The way the eye of the serpent gets returned to the trident was so engrossing. I also want an island with a tree house like the one in this book.
Great that we get so much more in this story. Even get some more time with Carly and Drago and their family which is nice.
I started this series because I really love a number of series from this author. I was not disappointed. I can’t wait of the next one.
