At the School for Good and Evil, failing your fairy tale is not an option.
Welcome to the School for Good and Evil, where best friends Sophie and Agatha are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime.
With her glass slippers and devotion to good deeds, Sophie knows she’ll earn top marks at the School for Good and join the ranks of past students like Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Snow White. … and Snow White. Meanwhile, Agatha, with her shapeless black frocks and wicked black cat, seems a natural fit for the villains in the School for Evil.
The two girls soon find their fortunes reversed — Sophie’s dumped in the School for Evil to take Uglification, Death Curses, and Henchmen Training, while Agatha finds herself in the School for Good, thrust among handsome princes and fair maidens for classes in Princess Etiquette and Animal Communication.
But what if the mistake is actually the first clue to discovering who Sophie and Agatha really are…?
The School for Good and Evil is an epic journey into a dazzling new world, where the only way out of a fairy tale is to live through one.

You definetly have to read all three of these books; The school for good and evil, the school for good and evil a world without princes, and the school for good and evil the last ever after.
The School for Good and Evil is a classic fairy tale on its head, or so it’s made to seem. But as the fairy godmother points out, the best princesses start at the bottom, and it’s through struggle that our true characters are revealed. Sophie is a perfect princess, and a perfect monster. Agatha is a heroic outcast. This story beautifully …
The School for Good and Evil books are my favorite. I have read them three times.
This was my first ever favorite book. I loved the series so much that I read it 5 times. The book really focuses on the friendship of 2 girls that are sent to a magical school where they must figure out how to get out. This book is great for children who enjoy fantasy. The School for Good and Evil
I wanted to like this book more than I did. I found myself lost at times with the details of the story but enjoyed the messages that were integrated about heroes and being a hero in your own story. I did find myself rooting for Sophie and Agatha as they tried to solve what was going on at the school. I will continue to the next book to continue …

I love how whimsical and colorful the setting is and how at times it can get dark. Agatha is my favorite character and I loved her development throughout the whole story. I personally did not like Sophie even though its many people’s favorite …
Sophie is beautiful on the outside but is truly the evilest villain the fairy tale works has ever seen!
Well written book! I fell in love with the characters.
I have loved this book since I bought it years ago in Park City, Utah. It is a very original look at the fairy tales we know by heart and love. So incredible (although I did not love the other books in the series). Honestly, this book works great as a stand-alone novel. I would definitely tell everyone to read this!
amazing
The first book to an AMAZING series!! Could have used a little bit more connection to the other books, but overall excellent book Soman!
LOVE this series it is so good. It says ass in it but that’s the only curse word I THINK. But anyway its good and i fell in love with it on the third chapter. The first couple of chapters are boring but you will get in to it if you keep reading it. I recommend this book to 10 and up. Good book!
GREAT BOOK! I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes a twist on a fairy-tail, action, a hint of romance, etc (and who doesn’t).
this book is very interesting to read!
This book will surely be fantastic for ages from 10-15. It has lots of twists and turns. The ending really surprised me and I am determined to read the next book of the series. Great for people looking for a magical adventure.
My daughter and I read this together it was a great bonding reading book. We loved it.
