And here I thought my favorite of this author’s was going to be the Spitfire series! Nope, move on over Brandon, it’s all about Zola! These characters just jump off the page and their passion is flammable. While this novella begins a new series and is therefore only a glimpse into their love story, it hooks you right in and leaves you tingling for more.
Im so excited to finally get Zola’s story! I’ve always been intrigued by him in previous books and after reading the Scarlet Night I know his story is going to be one hot and crazy ride! The Scarlet Night is a steamy preview of what im sure is to come! Definitely going to love Zola and Nina!

The one thing I love about Nicole’s books is she has an intriguing way of tying her characters together in her books. The Scarlet Night (Rose Gold Series) is no exception!
The Scarlet Night is a prequel novella to an all new series. I didn’t want this story to end. I was captivated by these characters and their story.
Nina is hiding something, she is a mystery. Matthew is a hot shot district attorney. There was instant chemistry between the two of them and boy was it explosive.
The Scarlet Night is their first meeting. The one night together they allowed themselves to have. However, is one night going to be enough?
I am DYING to know where their story goes, what happens next and just for more of Nina and Matthew in general. I can’t wait for this series to be released.
I have been waiting for this moment even before I knew it was a possibility. Matthew Zola has been a character in a couple of Nicole’s series. Each showing we get a little more of who he is as a man and a prosecutor. I knew there was something about him just from the snippets I had read. This tease of a prequel was just the jumpstart needed to get you ready for Matthew Zola. This short story packs a lot of information into who Mattie is behind the suit. A New Yorker through and through he is old school in all the most deliciously classic ways, big family, questionable childhood and romantic grandparents. He finds himself wanting, needing more but unsure of what that looks like. That is when he finds Nina Astor, the bright star he has been looking for. This story piles passion on top of passion and just when you think it’s going in Zola’s way it’s gone. I cannot wait for the first book in the series and to really delve into Zola’s world.

I have been waiting for Zola’s story for forever now, it seems! I knew that he had to have one and I couldn’t wait to read it. Needless to say, I am so excited for this Rose Gold series. The Scarlet Night was just perfection. I couldn’t put it down from the moment that I picked it up. I love seeing how Ms. French’s worlds collide and I can’t wait to find out exactly who Nina is!
Wow what a prologue. Is is a hot read that adds more to this story about the attorney of friends if the spot fire series. I can’t to get more of this story. Zola is a old time charmer and will have you feeling the excitement and dreaming romance throughout this story.
This novella is amazing! It takes us to where Nina and Matthew Zola meet and the beginning of what seems to be an intense relationship. How will it all play out? I cannot wait to find out what will happen in the books to come. I recommend this to everyone. Nicole, you have done it again!

Ohhh, what a great start to a new series. The attraction between Nina and Matthew was alluded to at the end of the Love Trap, but to see it with such clarity is amazing. I cannot wait to read Matthew and Nina’s story

In this short prequel, we get a glimpse of how Matthew( Zola) and Nina know each other. And OMG is it HOT!!!!! Even though it’s short, it doesn’t feel like it! This story is jam packed with intense heat and ALL THE FEELS!!!! Nicole French has a way with her writing that sucks you in!! I seriously can’t wait to read the rest of this series!!! I NEED THEM NOW!!!!

My heart be still! While this may be a prologue, it certainly packs a punch to the heart! How is it with just a few words, this author has yet again made me fall in love with her characters?! After meeting Matthew aka Zola in the Quicksilver series, I was hoping he would get his own story. And if this prologue is just a taste of what’s to come, I’m ready for the amazing ride it will be! Nina and Zola are made for each other. Except for one thing, and I don’t think that’s going to stop him. As you read, you can feel the emotions in your very soul. So much passion! So must lust! And I swear there’s a hint of love in there too. I can’t wait for this next incredible series by this author. It’s most definitely going to be epic!
Ohhhh, that was a great taste of what is to come for Zola’s story. I can’t wait to sink into the full story. This short novella showcased Nicole French’s ability to story tell. It captured what we all wanted to know (if you read Jane & Eric’s story). Ugh. I can’t wait! It was steamy, juicy, sexy, and full of lots more to explore.

WOW! I was already a fan of Nicole French, but this book amped that up 100%. I DEVOURED this novella. Had the hots for Matthew from page one – just wanted to see him happy. I adored everything about his character – including how fast he fell for Nina. The two of them together are freaking fantastic. The heat, the tension – it was all wonderful. I can not WAIT to read this whole series!
