Psst, I know a secret. The same secret that the Student Council—the super-rich, super handsome elite of Adamson All-Boys Academy—knows, too.Jenica Woodruff, the only girl to ever attend the academy before I showed up, didn’t commit suicide: she was murdered. Now, someone is after me, too, but no matter where I go, the killer follows. My new high school isn’t safe, and turns out, neither is my old … turns out, neither is my old one.
I’m not a member of the Student Council, but after everything we’ve been through together, after the horrible things we’ve seen, I may as well be. These ruthless boys have taken me under their wing.
Church, the fearless leader (and hopeless coffee addict). Ranger, the bada** VP (and naked baker). The identical McCarthy twins (and MMA enthusiasts). And Spencer, the boy who was willing to question everything about himself to fall for me … oh, Spencer.
Murder and romance are both in the air at Adamson; I’m just not sure which one will kill me first.
470 pages in paperback

The first few chapters had me at the edge of my seat wondering what has happened to Spencer. Logically I knew that he is not dead, I mean it would be just cruel to kill off one of the main characters but I was getting nervous when no one could get hold of him. And if it not Spencer, then who was the boy that they found in the woods?
I find it really hard to like Charlotte’s dad. He does not seem to care about Charlotte and while I know that he only does things in way that he thinks is best for Charlotte, it surely does not come across like that. He did not earn himself any brownie points when he refused to ease Charlotte and the boys’ peace of mind by revealing whether the boy in the woods is Spencer or not. A simple yes or no would suffice. He must have seen the torture that they went through by not knowing.
I am happy to say that Charlotte grew on me a bit more after reading this installment, but she was a whiny brat at times, this time complaining about wanting to go from California back to the academy. Is this girl ever happy?!
I love the boys more and more. I love Ranger and his obsession with cute things. That boy is just too adorable for words. And I really like that Spencer fancied Charlotte even when he thought she was a boy. And I find it strangely romantic when he confessed that he was looking up how to give blow jobs. What better way to prove to someone that you like them than questioning everything you thought you knew about yourself to be with that one person. And the trip to Disneyland? Freaking hell, that was hawt! Makes me jealous of Charlotte. I want to be a twin sandwich too, where can I sign up?
We still do not know what happened to Jenica and the plot thickens. Everyone is a suspect. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone. This installment ends on a cliffhanger and we are left with more questions than answers. Who killed Jenica? Who is after Charlotte? Who is involved? And what the hell is Church up to? Cannot wait to find answers to these questions in the next and final book of the series.
Also, I might be wrong but I am pretty positive Charlotte and her boys encountered Marnye and her boys at a rest stop. I just found it quite cool that the author decided to to intertwine these two worlds in this way. I am really curious about how the story will unfold in the crossover novel and how will each group react to another reverse harem on campus. It will be an interesting read me thinks and I cannot wait for it to be released. But first, I need to tackle The Forever Crew and get those answers I am so desperate for.
O M Gah!?!
Can this series get any better!?! Ugh! Really enjoying myself and all that Chuck and her 5-Man crew are experiencing and doing their damndest to survive senior year! On to the next! #HappyReading
Another phenomenal read by CM that I couldn’t wait too read. After how the last book left me hanging (no pun intended lol) I couldn’t wait too see what exactly happened. I love the mystery of this story and trying too figure out who is exactly after Chuck aka Charlotte. I love every character is this book and finally secrets are revealed. I love all the guys and I can’t wait too see what is going too happen in The Forever Crew especially after that ending. If you haven’t read any books by CM I suggest that you rectify that right now. You will love every story and especially all the characters.
I honestly have no idea what is going on and I love it! I jumping into Book 3 now!
I Give this Book a 4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 5.

Fantastic series
I’m really starting to believe that reverse harem are turning out to be my guilty pleasure. But seriously!!! Ugh these cliffhanger are going to be the death of me!!! So glad I wait till the whole series was completed. I had so many emotions reading this book the beginning alone was filled with so much grief my heart couldn’t take it. But that wasn’t all there are some serious laugh out loud moment to. Overall a enjoyable and entertaining read looking forward to seeing what else is in store for this series.
Second book in the series and I am so in love with the student council. They are such a unique and well written group of people, as is the female protagonist, Charlotte “Chuck” Carson. The Disney scenes were so beautiful and romantic. Ranger is fabulous and I so want to go by an apron now. This book is highly recommended, but you need to read them in order.
5 stars for The Ruthless Boys by C.M. Stunich. This is book 2 in The Adamson All-Boys Academy Series.
“Hope is the thing with feathers, right? It gives you wings, and I really, really could use some wings right about now.”
Book 2 picks up right where book 1 left us. Chuck/Charlotte is actually less of a brat in this book. The group has a list of suspects and they are on the trail. I will say that while I like all the boys Church and Ranger are my favorites. I loved getting to know these two on a deeper level. Spencer is a little annoying in this book. I feel that if I say to much I could spoil the mystery of the book and I do not want to do that. The mystery and suspense is the best part of this book .
Definitely a good follow up to The Secret Girl, however, I had a hard time getting into it. It’s probably just me, but I’m not connecting with the characters in this series like I normally do with CM’s books. While the cliffhanger totally has me pumped go find out how the story ends, if I wasn’t so intreged by the story itself I don’t think Chuck and the guys would be enough to keep I’m interested.
