My Review: This is my first time reading a book by Rie Warren and I’m super impressed! I loved everything about The Russian Savage. Arkady is pure alpha; he’s strong, dangerous, ruthless, possessive, protective and has a strong sense of family. He’s a tough nut to crack when it comes to his heart and finding love, but when he allows his woman in, there is no turning back! Lucia is a great heroine, she’s smart, brave, sexy and doesn’t back down and let her man walk all over her. Together Arkady and Lucia are a perfect match. I really enjoyed the author’s writing style, it was descriptive and emotional and the intimate scenes were smoking hot!!! I enjoyed this book immensely and can’t wait to read more in this series and beyond. Highly recommend!

This is the first book that I’ve read from this author but it’ll definitely not be the last. Arkady is the second in command of the Zolotov Bratva. Yury is the Pakhan of the Zolotov Bratva, and although Arkady and his brothers are not his biological sons, he treated them as if they were. Arkady was leaving the Cat and Suckle night club, which is owned by the Zolotov Bratva and they do some of their business. On his way out of the club, he heard someone being accosted in an alleyway and he intervened. There he met Lucia, whose brother was killed by one of Arkady’s brothers and she was on her way to exact revenge. After learning of Lucia’s intent, he kidnapped her, but unbeknownst to him, she has been promised to marry the same Italian mafia that he was supposed to sell guns to the next day. After he refused to sell the guns to the Italians, they were furious and are out for war, especially since they realized that he has something else that belongs to them. Will his Bratva back him up with this war, and will he be able to show Lucia, who is certain that th eff y are evil, that they are really not the bad guys. This book has so many twists and turns and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I’ll highly recommend reading it!
The Russian Savage is a book I could not put down. I honestly didn’t think Rie could top the first book in Krasnov Brothers series but this one blew me away. I loved this one. The secrets, twists and turns, and sexual chemistry made me blow through this book. Lucia and Arkady are just so intriguing to read.
Arkady is one of the best characters I have read in a while. Rie is a brilliant writer and I can’t wait to see where she takes us next.
The Russian Savage: Enemy of the Bratva (Krasnov Brothers # 2) by Rie Warren. When leaving the club on his way to his place Arkady comes across a young lady being attacked by a group of guys. After rescuing her he discovers 1)she was on her way to his club to kill Kirill and 2) she is the only daughter of the head of the Italian mob. Deciding to take her to his place he than has to decide what to do with her. She wants to kill his brother, however he can use her as leverage but there is something about her that speaks to his special sexual needs. Lucia hadn’t thought her plan through. Rescued by Kirill’s brother she is now being held by him. She hates Kirill but something about Arkady makes her wet between her legs. Yes this is like Kirill and Jo. There seems to be some similarities but Arkady’s sexual proclivities and Lucia’s issues puts this story on a different level. The interaction between these two was extremely kinky and hot. Loved the way their interaction was written had me wanting to be in Lucia’s place. Arkady is way hotter than his brother and a real master in the bedroom. The other characters in the story are just as interesting. The interaction between them is funny at times and deadly at other times but to them family is everything. I do hope for a couple more books regarding this group. There is still one more brother, Sasha and Papa. Heck there is also Jo’s 3 brothers. With all the additional books we can keep up with the whole family. This author has me hooked on these set of characters. True entertainment. 4.5 stars for me.
The Russian Savage: Enemy of the Bratva is the second book in The Krasnov Brothers series. In the first book the Russian Bratva dealt with the Irish Mafia and this time it is the Italian Mafia.
Arkady Krasnov, the second in command of the Russian Bratva, story is told in this book. All Arkady is interested in is Bratva business no woman is going to distract him. At least until he meets Lucia.
Leone Lucia is a hothead and decided to take revenge on her own for the murder of her brother, Bastiano Leone.
Arkady saves Lucia from an attack only to end up kidnapping her before she attempts to kill Kirill.
This is another sexy mafia story told. I very much enjoyed reading Arkady & Lucia’s story. Now I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. I am hoping it is Maksim and Sasha’s turn. There has been chemistry stirring between these two since Book 1.
The Russian Savage is dark, dirty, smart, sexy Bratva mafia romance at its finest.
Good golly, I’ve been dying to read Arkady’s story since meeting him in The Russian Thug and wowza, I was not disappointed.
Arkady is the stereotypical Bratva enforcer—hard, mean, unforgiving, smart. And sexy AF. *fans self* He’s not someone you’d want to meet in a dark alley—nor in a well-lit room, honestly. But there’s something about him that is magnetizing. And something that Lucia can’t quite ignore either. Even though he’s the enemy.
Lucia is out for revenge. Revenge against the man who killed her brother. And she’ll do whatever it takes to make that happen. What she didn’t count on was meeting her match and her future.
Because that’s exactly who Arkady is—her future, her partner, her lover. Even when they try to deny the spark and connection between them. They are perfect for each other. Arkady provides the strength and comfort and control Lucia needs—especially when the truth about her brother’s death is revealed. And Lucia provides Arkady the love, tenderness, and comfort he’s denied himself.
I loved every moment spent with this family and cannot wait for Maksim’s story next!
4.5 Stars
The second book in this series is full of the excitement and suspense we experienced in the first, with a twist. It turns out Arkady has his own needs and desires and they mesh quite well with what Lucia needs to overcome her ow demons that she hides so well. Of course, the road to their happily ever does not run smoothly. There will be plenty of twists, turns and violence between different factions of the mafias in Boston. In the end, you will love how this unlikely pair finds everything they never thought they would have, in one another! Only thing to note, some of the “steamy scenes” use some words some may find a bit cringeworthy.

5 Dominate Stars!!
Rie Warren has done it again!! I was in love with some Kirill Krasnov the enforcer of the Zolotov Bratva. As much as I loved him and Joanna I was looking forward to Arkady’s story bc he seemed uptight and I was wondering if anybody could breakdown that wall of his.
We pick up right where we left off. Jo and Kirill have just returned from their honeymoon. Arkady’s on his way home when he hears commotion in an ally. A beautiful women is being attacked by some men. Arkady steps in and takes them out easily but that’s where Arkady’s life changes.
Lucia Leone is the only daughter of the Italian Mafia family and her brother is Bastiano Leone, who was killed by Kirill Krasnov. Lucia’s both sad and mad and out for revenge. She misses her brother and is pissed her father hasn’t retaliated against Kirill for killing her brother. Too bad the guy that saved her life turned out to be Arkady Krasnov, underboss of the Zolotov Bratva and older brother of the man she just confessed she was on her way to get her revenge for her brothers murder. Now, she’s been taken to his house and locked in a room.
Arkady knows how well it turned out for Kirill when he took Joanna and he wants none of that. But, Lucia is the Italian Princess and he’s not sure what kind of deal can be made with her father and if no deal can be made he’ll do what he has too to protect the Zolotov Bratva.
These two are total enemies and nothing else but when Lucia starts feeling certain ways she tries to numb the pain. When Arkady sees her covered in her blood all he wants to do is help her. He takes her to a room in his house that nobody has ever been in. Arkady shows her pain. A type of pain that’ll settle the demons they’re hiding inside.
When Lucia’s father randomly shows up on Arkady’s doorstep he decides to listen to what the old man has to say. But, Arkady’s not stupid he’s got Lucia close enough so she can hear what’s being said. Lucia’s totally unprepared for what her father had in store for her as she was to be the bride of an elderly Sicilian Mafia Don.
Lucia is shocked to realize had she not been taken by Arkady, she would’ve been past off to a man like Joanna would’ve if Kirill didn’t step in before Lucia’s brother got her.
Arkady and Lucia are spending more time together around his family, together in his room and bedroom. The more time Lucia spends with the matriarch of the Zolotov Bratva in the kitchen, the more she misses her mother and what its like to be in a loving family.
Arkady decides to have a sit down with Yury Zolotov, head of the Bratva but also the man who took him and his brothers in as his sons instead of killing them. Yury shocks Arkady by talking about Sasha’s mom and how him and Lucia remind him of a younger him and her.
Yury’s approval comes at the perfect time BC there’s still a debt due. Lucia’s been promised to somebody and they’re not going to walk away quietly.
I couldn’t put this down once I started it. Kirill is an extremely hard guy not to fail for. I knew Arkady had more to him that meets the eye. This underboss has a dark, kinky side to him and man oh man I wanna piece of it. Lucia’s the perfect match for this man. She’s feisty and not afraid to stand up for herself and let anybody know what she thinks. Being with Arkady he’s been showing her ways they can settle the battle in their own head. It’s a benefit for the both of them.
Rie Warren wrote a book that’ll have you scared for Arkady, Lucia and the rest of the Krasnov/Zolotov Bratva and the next minute you’re hot, sweaty and fanning yourself and looking for your real life Arkady.
Sasha and Maksim are the next up and man oh man oh man am I excited for it!! These two seriously need to bang it out already!! I’m ready for it. I’m also hoping Joanna’s brothers get books BC I’m loving them.
This says it can be read as a stand-alone, it could however it will be a lot better to get to know many of the characters that were in the first book. I loved the first book, but as soon as I started Arcady and Lucia’s story, I honestly was drawn in and couldn’t put it down. Yes this is a very suspenseful and dangerous mafia story, but it is also a tantalizing and passionate romance too. There are many kinky and steamy BDSM scenes. I love this series and can’t wait to finally get to read Sasha and Maksim’s book next.

His obsession was to protect her, not realizing it was based on love!
by sewsummore
When Arkady, underboss to the Zolotov mafia family, rescued a woman from a street gang that night, he did not expect the trouble she would cause to him and his family. Arcady had taken the woman to his home, intent on treating her injuries and release her, until he learned who she was. Lucia was the daughter of the Leone Italian family leader. She was her way to exact revenge on Arkady’s brother for killing her brother, something he would never allow to happen. Lucia was a beautiful, feisty young woman, totally unprepared for what her father had in store for her as the bride of an elderly Sicilian Mafia Don. Something Arkady was determined to prevent happening at all costs. Never had he felt such a strong attraction to a woman; not only was she innocent pawn in father’s plans, Arkady wanted her for himself. Their relationship was fraught with difficulties, her perception of her brother and father, distorted by lies careless disregard. When the truth about her life and future is revealed, Lucia finally accepts that her place is by Arkady’s side. I was enthralled with this story, Arkady may well have been a violent man, but his regard for Lucian soon verged on obsession to protect her from harm, never realizing that it was based on love. If you are a fan of “Mafia Romance,” you will love this book!

This is Lucia and Arkady’s story and it’s a delightfully dark Mafia romance story. The plot is an intriguing one as the author takes the reader on a journey through the characters hate/dislike for each other and into their chemistry and then acceptance and love for each other. It’s a wonderful story to read.

Arkady rescues a woman from thugs trying to attack her in an alleyway. Lucia is on a mission to avenge her brother’s death at the hands of Arkady’s brother Kirill. Once Arkady finds out Lucia is an Italian princess, he decides to keep her for awhile. Lucia hasn’t been treated well by her father. She has issues that she keeps hidden until Arkady finds out. Arkady is hiding secrets of his own. The two fit together in ways that are sad but spectacular at the same time. Another win for this author and series.
This is Book 2 in the Krasnov Brothers Series by this author. It is a steamy, mafia romance between underboss Arkady and Italian princess Lucia. These flawed souls and the unique plot make for an intriguing read. It is an intense ride with combustible attraction, frustrating moments, mafia dynamic, danger and violence, twists and turns. Overall, it has a healthy dose of sexual tension and sizzling chemistry, action and suspense, engaging secondary characters, and a happy ending. It is a great addition to the series. It can be read as a standalone but you enhance your reading pleasure if you read the other books in the series.

This was an interesting story. It had action, hot sex and betrayal throughout. I couldn’t put it down once started. They aren’t meant to work because of their families. But they make it work.
I loved Lucia and Arkady together, they may of had a turmoil start. But you could tell they will end up together.
I loved getting to know all the characters.
He might be a savage but Arkady knew hel was needed when he rescued Lucia, what he didn’t know was, Lucia was ready to commit murder, she was now his prisoner and he wanted her more then the air he breathed. Momma Mia, I was tangled up here no doubt about it fast gripping and deadly, l loved the intense sadness of Lucia and the shock and anger from Arkady when he realises how the mafia princess has been living her life. Oh WOW.

A damsel in distress easily could have cost his brother his life..
Lucia was the daughter of the Italian Mafia and she had come to seek retribution from the death of her one and only brother, the only light in her dark, dull life and there was simply nothing she would not do to kill the Russian Bratva that had murdered him.
Arkady had seen the woman being attacked and had rescued her, she had actually been quite badly beaten and yet as soon as he had killed those holding her she had informed him that she was on her way to kill Kirill, he could not believe it she wanted to kill his brother.
As they are forced in to close proximity and she learns the true details behind her brother’s death it becomes apparent there was so much she had known about his proclivities and Kirill had been protecting his wife Jo, who was no expecting their first child,
This was an extremely addictive read just like the first book in this series and I guarantee that once you start reading you will not be able to put it down until reaching the end.
