For fans of Bridget Jones and The Princess Diaries comes a laugh-out-loud, feel-good comedy with a sizzling side of romance… woman in the kingdom who hates him most, he must learn that earning the love of a nation means first risking his heart.
Twenty-eight-year-old Tessa Sharpe, a.k.a. The Royal Watchdog, hates everything about Prince Arthur. As far as she’s concerned, he’s an arrogant, lazy leech on the kingdom of Avonia. When he shocks the nation by giving her the keys to the castle, Tessa has no choice but to accept and move in for two months. It’s lust at first sight, but there’s no way she can give in to her feelings—not if she wants to have a career or a shred of pride left when her time at the palace ends…
Can two natural enemies find their forever in each other’s arms, or will they ruin each other to save themselves?
A gorgeously funny, romantic and seductive modern fairy-tale…

Funny and laugh out loud. Comedic protagonists were human with human flaws and they were willing to admit to themselves that they had those flaws. And funny, very funny!
Way too predictable.
This was a sweet romance. Strong female character. Funny and charming book. Stayed up late to finish it because it was so good.
A modern day fairytale. It may have a prince and a castle, but Tessa is no damsel in distress. A witty story about how people need to get to know the true version of others and themselves before they find happiness. A must read if you enjoy lots of laughs and smiles, and strong characters. A great book!
Laugh out loud!
Found the characters to be engaging and unique. There were many parts that were laugh out loud funny. Well written. Eager to read more of their story…..
Having lived in the UK for 60years I am used to the monarchy.
Reading this book was a bit tongue in cheek.
A lot of the issues are real eg in this day and age do we need a monarch?
Great characters , it reminds me of a Sue Townsend book about the monarchy.
A fun read, I am looking forward to the next book.
STUPID! I didn’t get past the 1st chapter
The book was predictable, but the humor made it much more interesting to read. The chapters alternate between his and her voice, so sometimes I had to think about who was saying what. Good summer beach read.
Enjoyable to read . kept my interest throughout.
This book was so much fun!! It was a great read for a small escape from your day.
Great book with a comical twist.
Good solid human main characters… I cared about them
While the storyline was fairly predictable this book was surprisingly very funny. I laughed out loud at several points and found the characters likeable and charming. This was a very entertaining book!
Cute book! Fun read!
I love this book it was the funniest book I read in a long time. Prince Authur and Tessa Sharpe had great chemistry. I couldn’t stop laughing with with the shock jogger she was wearing and trying out.
Loves reading this book! It was enchanting! Fans of any royal family will love it!
Enjoyed it as a light, funny read. Looking forward to reading more of her work
