I’m the master of my world.A ruler from the skies of a lost planet. The ship captain who watches from above.Until an alien invades my heart and everything changes. She’s from another world and doesn’t want saving, for she’s on a quest of her own.Feisty and fiery, she burns bright like the sun.I crave to capture her and keep her.To hold the sparkling female in my arms forever, uncaring if I get … arms forever, uncaring if I get burned.
A chance mission given by my commander has us sequestered on the Mayvina all alone.
I only have a few solars to prove to her how good we can be together.
It’s simple to me: handsome mort plus lovely alien equals mates forever. Right?
Wrong.
Nothing I say or do has an effect. She’s as stubborn as I am good looking.
She’s the one thing I can’t control. A star shooting across the sky, never meant to be caught.
But I will catch her heart.
It’s written in the stars.
We can be more than a space fling.
We can be everything.
I just have to convince her first.

4.5 but I always round up. I rekking love these aliens. Cocky, smart ass Theron finally meets his match in spitfire Willow. I loved their story. We see Theron finally humbled a bit and Willow let down her walls. Plus the long awaited mother/daughter reunion. It was perfect and I wouldn’t change anything about. We also get some serious new developments that I can’t wait to read about in the coming books! K and Nicole are so skilled at world building and killing us with suspense while giving us all the feels. Can’t wait to see what comes next!
The Rogue Captain by K. Webster and Nicole Blanchard is the 6th book in the Lost Planet series. This is Theron and Willow’s story. Theron is the rogue captain of the Mayvina and Willow is Molly’s long lost daughter.
The story ended in book 5 with a semi cliffhanger for Theron and Molly and now pick right back up with their mission and the 4 solars takes to get there.
Their journey is quite unique, interesting and the chemistry between them is intense, amazing and sizzling. It’s like two people who don’t want to admit that they like each other and go out of their way to be totally annoying towards the other person when they really like/want the other one. On top of that, is their mission. Things are going to be intense, amazing, steamy, exciting, adventurous and fun. The plot is fantastic and the characters keep you coming back each and every book. There will be some moments that will have you reaching for tissues because of the heartache/heartbreak. Quite the emotional rollercoaster paranormal romance read.
My Rating: 4.5 *******
Willow and Theron’s story was good. I loved the other characters antics that come up throughout. Willow fights it so hard! Its quite hilarious. Cause she tried so hard but in the end fell for Theron. But so much happen but i can’t wait for the next book to come so we can see whats next!
Theron is sure that he is the best thing since sliced bread. Or maybe sliced rogcow. He’s charming, he’s special, he’s talented, and he’s definitely the best looking mort, just ask him. He’ll tell you. Now, he’s with Willow, flying in his precious ship in between the prison and the facility. Theron is pretty sure that Willow is the woman for him, but she’s pretty sure that he’s not the mort for her.
I love how Willow is always needling Theron and doesn’t immediately fall down at his feet like he thinks that she should. I don’t know why he thinks he would be such a player, since he hasn’t been around any females or anything, but you know, there it is.
I love how Theron keeps referring to the book about mating that they’ve written. I think it’s so funny, and I think that it’s great that the morts are trying to do what they can to understand people who are so far different to them.
I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Mortarekking awesome!
The Rogue Captain is the 6th book in the Lost Planet Series. At the end of Book #5, Theron and Willow are on a mission to bring Avrell back to Exilium to help save the people who have caught the Rades. This is Theron and Willow’s story. It isn’t a smooth and easy love story but it does end in a HEA and has many laughs. It is very much worth the read!
These books just keep getting better and better, and I can’t get enough. This is saying a lot because I didn’t like alien books before I started this series. K. Webster and Nicole Blanchard do a fantastic job of writing an engaging plot filled with lots of steam, suspense, as well as humorous and touching moments. The characters are each unique and have great qualities even if they are a little growly, protective, and alpha. I love reading about the new couples and seeing appearances by couples from previous books. This is a must-read if you like alien romances. I can’t wait to read Avrell’s story! I know it will be hilarious and hot! I just can’t get enough of this series!

This series is soo but soo rekking good! I hope and can’t wait for more. It’s never enough when it’s so good.
You’ll get sucked right into this world, making you wish you two can be sent off to this planet. I enjoy this series. It’s jammed packed with drama, and hot steamy moments. ALL characters are simply the best.
This is Willow and Theron story. He’s to cocky and she’s feisty but together they become a focus of nature. I wanted a bit more for Willow, but I’m sure this confirms more is to come and I can’t wait for that special moment she’s been fighting for all her life.
This was my 1st alien read/series and because of this series I’ve become obsessed. These two authors know how to give us one hot story to enjoy and devour
Start the book with Willow and Theron on the Mayvina, flying back home to get Avrell so he can help cure the patient suffering from The Rades in prison, we see the enemy in lust from both of them
Theron is being him self. The guy who thinks he is the greatest gift in the world for any women alive. Loving he’s own shadow so much, it struck him when Willow’s “perky girls” fascinated him more than anything.
And Willow definitly won’t have it. I mean, so far away from earth and this Alien she got to face is what she actually running from all the men on earth??? But dangit if Theron isn’t hot I mean, a girl got her own need to scratch isn’t she.
Or so Willow tought at first with the one night stand she offered. The friends with benefits. The fling while flying. The scratch your itch while we’re at it kinda deal. But Theron won’t have it.
She’s his mate. And he will do anything to make her see and accept it.
But dangerous lurking.
There’s storm of enemy coming up.
And when Willow’s life on the fence, there’s only one thing for Theron to do. Fight to keep Willow save. No matter what.
This series just keeps getting better and better. I can not get enough of The Lost Planet series! I’m addicted to these Morts!
Calix has been my favorite but Theron may have just trumped him!
Theron is stuck on his ship with Willow. He thinks he’s hot stuff and she’s trying to deflate his overgrown ego. The banter between these two is EVERYTHING! I love how Theron takes everything literally.
This story is fun, it’s hot, it’s suspenseful and it even gets emotional at times.
When I first started this series, I wasn’t entirely sold because Sci-Fi has never intrigued me before. These authors have not only created a binge-worthy series, it’s also become one of the ones I’m addicted to.
Each book is strong enough to be read as a standalone but I believe they are so much more powerful read as a series.
LOVED this book! This series as a whole has so many layers and I love that they keep peeling them back with each new story. Who knew the cocky Mort that only wanted a relationship with his Mayvina had it in him to fall under the alien’s spell! He didn’t care if all Willow wanted was a “space fling”, he’d do whatever it took to get inside her and make her see that he was meant to be her mate. He is just cocky enough to KNOW she’d come around. That is until she’s taken from the prison and it’s up to Theron to find her and keep her safe from Felix.
As with the other books in the series, there’s also more to the story of Mortuus revealed and the next step to survival is going to be the toughest yet for this endangered species. I hope they survive it!!
This one got interesting. We get Theron and Willow with Willow “showing” him more of Earth II’s ways in terms of mating. I laughed by Theron trying to understand a one-night stand and then subsequently still wanting to make her his. We get a little more action in this one too and a little more anticipation for the next book. Can’t wait!

Oh, my heart! I loved The Rogue Captain so much. I have to say, I was very excited about it, after the teasing preview we got, in the previous Lost Planet book, The Lonely Orphan, and I WAS NOT disappointed. It was so REKKING GOOD! The characters are great once again. Theron is my favorite mort. We got to know him as a brooding captain, a protector, he may seem overly confident, but in the inside, he has the most beautiful, loving heart, and he made melt into a puddle of mush, every time he spent with Willow. He is such a man with his boobs worshiping and with his “metal female”, he made me chuckle so many times. He found his prefect match in Willow. She is the fiery, beautiful earthling female, as Theron calls her, she is sassy and so brave, and I love her takes no bulls**t attitude. They found happiness in each other. I just love them.
The Rouge Captain was exhilarating, hot, funny, swoony and so different from the usual romance stories I’ve read. It’s a nice change from all the clichés in the world of romance books, and I am starting to believe K. Webster is the queen when in it comes to breaking those clichés. She and Nicole Blanchard created future world, in space, on alien planets, with all these incredible characters, and I am simply addicted. I need/want more, so please give the next book already.
Fav Quotes:
-“Everyone loves me.
I am Theron.
The Rogue Rekking Captain.
Master of the skies. Mate of the Mayvina. Handsome mort with the best hair, and the best laugh and the best – ”
-“You’re a hyperactive frat boy goofball with a license to drive a spaceship who thinks his balls are the biggest on the planet.”
“…I’m going to find her. Sit my beautiful mate down and explain to her why we need to be together. We’re more then a space fling, we’re everything. ”
– ” Sometimes, there is too much happiness in the world, and it has nowhere to go. It gets sucked off the planet and forms into a tiny, glowing ball of happy. Then, it gets bigger and bigger until it explodes with joy, shooting across the sky, and sprinkling more happiness along the way”
I absolutely love this series. I think Theron is my favorite mort so far. There is just something about these morts that will have you hooked. Theron & Willow are absolutely perfect together. Another amazing 5 star read and of course I can’t wait too read the next in this series.
Theron the Mort with the biggest ego because he flies a ship. Willow the daughter of Molly, who’s spent her whole life looking for her mom that she hasn’t thought about after. She only want to have a “space-fling” with Theron because shes not ready for anything else but it becomes hard to keep feelings out when hes always saying such sweet things to her. Theron will make her see that she is is mate. Then all hell breaks loose and hes hunting down the “Kevin” who took her from him.
I’m so in love with this series! It may be fast paced but it doesnt take away from the building of this world and the characters. You cant help but fall for the Morts, with their charm and how family and women are above all else. I’m going to be impatiently waiting for the next installment.
I recieved an ARC in exchange for a honest review.
Calling all the sexy aliens! This is another amazing story in The Lost Planet series. K Webster and Nicole Blanchard did a superb job telling Theron and Willow’s story. I love the banter between these two. The chemistry was fiery and sensual. The Rogue Captain was fun, steamy, intoxicating and amazing overall. I cannot recommend this series enough, it’s so good. I wish I had my own rekking alien. If you love sci-fi romance, this is a must read.
I don’t know why, but I just didn’t connect with this installment. The interaction between Theron and Willow just lacked any kind of drive for me throughout the story, most of the interaction was in the bedroom, and even that was lacking for me. The banter between the two didn’t add much to the story in my opinion, so unfortunately I found myself skipping ahead. Since this is a combined effort, not sure if it was a different author writing this one, but it’s definitely not as compelling as the others in the series. Overall, just okay.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
If you ever asked me would I read an alien book the answer would be never until I read these books I’m addicted now.
This is the 6th book in the lost planet series and what a page turner it is.
This is Theron and Willows book following on from book five they have a mission to bring Avrell back to Exilium to help save the people who have caught the Rades.
Theron and Willows journey is interesting shall we say as much as they love to annoy each other and believe me they do there is also a chemistry between them.
When Willow suggest they have a space fling Theron has no idea what that means but he sure is up for it but once he has a taste of Willow he want’s more he want’s her as his mate.
And he will do anything to make that happen Willow is Molly daughter and all Theron want’s to do is make them both happy.
Let’s just say the mission will leave you shouting out loud holding your breath and waiting for the next book and yes we have a 7th book and I really need it ASAP.
***5 Stars***
I gotta say that I love spending time with the Morts and the aliens aka human woman who bring them to their knees and this time it was a bumpy, but fun ride.
Theron and Willow were a lot of fun, frustrating at times, but fun. Theron definitely thinks highly of himself, which gets him in a bit trouble, but he comes by it honestly because he actually cares so much about everything he does. Willow is a no nonsense kind of woman who doesn’t back down from many things, especially the things and people she cares about. Their journey is a rocky one since they both have one track minds and those minds aren’t on the same path, but it was fun to watch as they got under each others skins and find that they truly can’t live without each other.
This was another fun read in the series. I love catching up with the all the morts and ‘aliens’ we’ve gotten to meet along the way and I’m really looking forward to seeing all that happens with Oz and his ‘mate’ in the next installment. Also, it looks like things are going to be getting a lot more intense in the series and cannot wait to see what the authors have up their sleeves for us!

Willow and Theron were a fun couple to read about. Theron has this ridiculous ego but you just can’t help but like him regardless. And Willow can’t stand his “player” routine.
But what happens on the Mayvina stays on the Mayvina…at least that was Willow’s plan. Theron is a typical Mort, there and ready to convince Willow that she’s his mate. Their chemistry is off the charts, so I knew it would only be a matter of time before they came together.
The Rogue Captain was full of action and suspense, plus we received some answers to questions raised in The Lonely Orphan. Sweet ending with an epilogue that makes you keep asking for more.
This is yet another wonderful addition to this heart stealing series. This book brings us Willow and Theron’s story. These two share an intense attraction, a steamy chemistry and lots of humorous banter. It was so easy to love both these characters. On the outside Theron was incredibly cocky but underneath there was a sweet tenderness and a deep yearning for family. Willow presented as so gruff and prickly (and with very good reason) but she had a very soft center that longed for love and was often crippled by fear of loss. Together these two made a very sweet couple that had you laughing, swooning and really just had your heart melting. Aside from this couple’s romance the overarching story that has been building and evolving throughout the series progressed. The danger level is at an all time high and with so much to lose, we are left wondering if just when our beloved Morts are finally finding love, embracing happiness, creating families and facing a brighter future if it will all be brutally ripped away from them. I just can’t wait for book seven!
4.5 Rekking Stars! Loved the Lost Planet Series from book 1 and each book makes me love these Mort more and more. The Rogue Captain is another incredible addition to the series and has just left me wanting more. Theron is completely taken by Willow and is determined that she will be his mate. Willow is guarded and initially has no desire to being his forever mate, but wishes to pursue a fling relationship. Their HEA is a battle to get to, but love wins in the end.
These authors continue to surprise me with this series and make me wish it would not end. If you haven’t started this series you are definitely missing out!
