I’m the master of my world.A ruler from the skies of a lost planet. The ship captain who watches from above.Until an alien invades my heart and everything changes. She’s from another world and doesn’t want saving, for she’s on a quest of her own.Feisty and fiery, she burns bright like the sun.I crave to capture her and keep her.To hold the sparkling female in my arms forever, uncaring if I get … arms forever, uncaring if I get burned.
A chance mission given by my commander has us sequestered on the Mayvina all alone.
I only have a few solars to prove to her how good we can be together.
It’s simple to me: handsome mort plus lovely alien equals mates forever. Right?
Wrong.
Nothing I say or do has an effect. She’s as stubborn as I am good looking.
She’s the one thing I can’t control. A star shooting across the sky, never meant to be caught.
But I will catch her heart.
It’s written in the stars.
We can be more than a space fling.
We can be everything.
I just have to convince her first.

I loved it. I think it deserves top 3 in this series. Theron was so much more than the cocky jerk I thought he’d be. He’s so much more. Willow is so perfect for him and I got teary-eyed at the end. This was a wonderful addition to the series and that epilogue makes me want more!!! I need more soon. This series is so good, don’t pass it up.
The Rogue Captain (The Lost Planet Series Book 6
This book was an entertaining read
I loved how this book is well written
I also felt connected with this story and was content to read it to the end
Overall this book was great in my opinion
And I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a great story
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy and my opinion are my own.
I’ve been waiting patiently for Theron’s story because I thought it just might be the funniest of the bunch. He’s a tad narcissistic, a wee bit arrogant, and a whole lot of lovable male. This alien easily won me over and I was eager to watch his happily ever after unfold. He was definitely worth the wait!
The Rades has attacked the prison and they need the help of the only mort left who seems to understand the disease. Theron and Willow undertake the task of travelling to the facility to get him and along the way, amidst her hostility, his determination, and a lot of miscommunication, they found love. It was angsty and emotional, sexy and intimate, and there was even some suspense thrown in to drive things up a notch.
I am so in love with these morts!! Oz’s story is next and we get a sweet preview at the end. I’m so excited to get my hands on it. If it’s anything like the rest of this series, I’m guaranteed to love it!!

___________
Theron is so sweet & adorable but just a tad bit narcissistic. He’s definitely a romantic and he has his work cut out for him to get an HEA with hostile, headstrong Willow.
Their story is a ton of angst, steam, and emotional scenes. They have a lot of miscommunication with each other but I really like how it was written. They would have a conflict due to miscommunication but then become aware they had misunderstood each other and talk it out. That was really refreshing to read instead of having it dragged out before the couple talks it out.
What I really love about this series is each couple is so different in each book and so different in their interactions with each other.
Willow just wants to have a fling while Theron is determined to make her his
The plot is filled with suspense as a new threat emerges. Most of the book takes place on Mayvine, Theron’s ship, as Theron&Willow travel to the Facility to bring Avrell to the Prison to help find a cure for the Rades. I really enjoyed the change in location again and I think it really helps in the pacing of the plot.
Overall another quick, action packed read with a romance that continues to hit the mark.

These books just keep getting better! I loved Theron and Willow’s story. Their personalities fit perfectly. The plot was fast-paced and I read this in one sitting. I love this alien world so much. Can’t wait for more!
“I found a mate who shines like the brightest star in the universe. I’m a lucky mortarekker.”
I enjoyed this book. I loved Theron! He was funny and so full of himself! I loved that. Because I could totally picture guys like that. Willow on the other hand… took me awhile to warm up to her. She was just so rude to Theron. I didn’t like that.
I just felt kinda bad for him because he didn’t understand the extent of Willows rudeness.
“It’s everything. It’s her. All her. Only her. Always her. We’re not a “space fling.” We’re a forever.”
I love how far we’ve come in this series. Finally all the Morts are finding their mates and they have a purpose. They went from 5 to a whole little circle of other people to help.
I’m excited to see what’s to come! Whispers (Quinn) and Oz’s book!

Mmmm… I love. love. LOVE. immersing myself in the world of Mortuus. I surely sound like a broken record by now, but gosh each time I “travel” there in my mind I fall deeper under the Morts’ spell. Plus, each time I swear that Mort is my favorite, till the next installment comes out, then suddenly that one is my favorite. I’ll just call them all my favorites, even the ones that aren’t out yet cause I know I will love them ALL!
Theron and Willow… oh my gosh! These two stumbling through a friends with benefit’s style relationship is “cute”, cause you know that no woman can say no to those Morts. LOL! Willow tries so hard to be strong, and not fall for Theron’s charms, but when he shows her the real him under all the teasing and flirting, it’s a losing battle. Then seeing it from Theron’s side, where he is “trying” to respect her boundaries, and stick to the rules she’s set, shows that even the notorious flirt can settle down at some point. Obviously from the readers point of view, I’m yelling “Why are you fighting this? They are perfect!”, but I do appreciate knowing that K and Nicole still make the Morts fight for their Aliens.
Like in each book before this one, more of the planet Mortuus is discovered, and what started as a small section of this planet is expanding into an even larger world. Showing them all that they aren’t as alone as they all thought they were. Within these pages the stakes are raised, and soon we’ll get an ending that will blow our minds… I know it’s coming.
If you are late to the party, make sure to start with the Forgotten Commander and buzz through to get to this cause YOU NEED THESE IN YOUR LIFE! You won’t change my mind! LOL
Theron and Willow
I liked this one. The Morts are learning a lot more about humans and we got to see more of what’s happening beyond the planet they live on.
I did enjoy Theron and Willow. Theron is arrogant in a endearing way and Willow was incredibly stubborn. They were sort of like a match made in heaven or in the stars.
Looking forward to the next one
Action packed, sexy, fun and emotionally thrilling adventure, filled with exciting charters, witty dialog, heart racing twists and undeniable passion. Was a great read from beginning to end. Really enjoyed this exciting journey!
I LOVE MY ALIENS!!! Theron’s book def was one of my favs of the aliens books! The fact that he wants a mate to start a family with and isn’t just looking for someone to mate with for fun. He touched my mommy heartstrings!!! I love how Willow def gives him a run for his money though and you start to wonder are they gonna get an HEA and is she going to give into the feelings like Theron has for her! I highly recommend reading all the books in the series!!
The Roque Captain: Theron & Willow

Willow is Molly’s daughter and lord, do we get to see the effects in this story! Theron was adorable, if that’s even a vocabulary allowed for these morts LOL. The development of their relationship was fun and entertaining. Willow didn’t feel like a safe bet as most of the other leading ladies were thus far. She played the player LOL. Their steamy scenes were STEAMY and at the same time hilarious at the end. I never thought of birth control on the Lost Planet until now and now it’s just too funny to unthink it. This is the most recent update of the Lost Planet series and honestly, it keeps with tradition. Great world-building. Entertaining characters. Funny dialogue. Steamy scenes. I can’t wait for the next instalment!
*KU Read
I just can not get enough of the Lost Planet series. Just when you think you know what is going on and the love interests are together you get a new book with more details. The Rogue Captain we get Theron and Willow, whom we met in the last book. Theron is the cocky captain who has no self-esteem issues. I love him in this book.
Willow is a strong self-assured human. She has an inch that needs to be scratched so she goes to Theron to get some and finds that Theron thinks they are mates now. This turns the book into some fun times. Although there is still a mystery going on and fighting, Willow and Theron keep the laughs and sexiness going.
Great story and I am hoping we get more stories!
Theron is the rogue captain of the Mayvina and Willow is human and the daughter of Molly. Willow is fiery and doesn’t want saving. Theron knows Willow is his mate and he intends to have her, he just needs to convince her of it. A good addition to this series.
5 Rekking Stars
This is one of the first series Alien Romances I’ve read and I loved it!! This is a breeder series and is so much fun! These Morts want Mates!lol The poor Captain has found his match and in his domain the mighty Mayvina! The ship is way easier to maintain than Willow! Watching Theron and Willow was magic! I had been waiting so long for Willow to be found!! She is strong, fierce, and independent. Theron is totally alpha but playful! I’d been interested in seeing who would be his match! 🙂 I loved the hot steamy chemistry between these two!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie’s Book Reports.

If you have read the previous books then you have probably been waiting on Theron’s story. Well the wait is over and you have the book in your hands by now. He doesn’t disappoint either. He may be arrogant and very narcissistic but you are going to fall in love with him non the less. Theron and Willow have quiet the story to tell. These two are a lot of fun and beyond frustrating at others but I fell in love with them non the less. I loved how Willow was a super strong “woman” who didn’t back down from anything and she certainly didn’t need anyone, even Theron, to save her. This entire series as been fun to read and I think this just might be my favorite of all of them.
I will never get sick of these Rekkin aliens!!
The storyline and world building these two authors put together each book is out of this world! Pun intended!
Theron not a simple mort, he hid his insecurities with bravado and cockiness.
Willow was and is a survivor through and through.
Together they meshed and complemented one another.
This story is fast paced and just makes me salivate for the next installment!
Now that we have answers
As we continue with the series we now wonder whether we’ll find a Harem romance as we now have more females than morts and while am curious as how the series will continue I wonder if the mortlings will get a follow up series.
I enjoyed this particular book for its passion as this couple tries to explain a casual relationship that to a committed male is just plain alien, a mystery has also been created thanks to this single mom and son that have run, the plot thickens in this installment and I can’t wait for more.
I don’t know why I love these books, but maybe it has something to do with rooting for the underdog. I want to see how the Morts survive and I love the idea of all of these different personalities coming together. Theron and Willow are so much fun with their bickering and I realize that half the time Theron doesn’t know what’s going on with the language barrier. I love how committed they are to the cause and each other. And I love the epilogue that always has me craving the next book!
Theron always seemed a little too much, but honestly, he’s so incredible and absolutely perfect for Willow. Willow has been hurt so often and by so many men that her only goal was to find her mom, she couldn’t even consider anything else. Thankfully Theron doesn’t give up, he thinks of her as his star, always praising/complimenting her (genuinely) and wearing his heart and feelings on his sleeve. Theron being Theron, brought Willow back to life. I loved their interactions (after the first upset when his feelings were hurt). There was truly so much more to him and Willow brought it out and saw it after a bit. I’m so happy for them! I cannot wait for the next book!!!
Theron is one arrogant Mort! He’s the best pilot and the best looking; so he says… He definitely inspires ire in Willow. Despite her obvious disdain for his attitude Willow thinks a “friends with benefits” arrangement will work. Does she know Theron only wants her for his mate? More than the regular planet dangers lurk ahead for both of them.
I really enjoyed this addition to the Lost Planet series! Theron is so captivated with Willow. And she is so annoyed with him. It’s not a frenemies situation, but close. There was lots of good action in The Rogue Captain; both between the sheets and on the planet. It was a good page turner. Webster and Blanchard are rocking this series. I can’t wait for the next one! 4 stars
