“There is nothing you don’t know how to do. No obstacle or challenge you have not defeated. Do you know why I was always going to be the don? Because I had you, my donna, my queen.”
God save the queen and king Sophia and Alessandro Rocchetti.
Sophia Rocchetti, a woman that owned me for the very first moment I got to know her, is simply an amazing character. Her development throughout the books is incredible—I loved seeing how she always prioritized her ambitions and wants, but learned “how to care”, to gain confidence in other people and to show it to the ones who matter—, and she was certainly born to be a queen, no one can deny it. And Alessandro, this man and I had a troubled beginning, but I couldn’t help falling for him after all. He’s ruthless, calculating, intelligent, a man who was born and raised to be a king, for sure, but when he showed his soft sides to his wife and, later, to his son? Gosh.
The chemistry and the feelings existing between the main characters are insane, and I really like how Bree worked and developed it—still, I think that if she decides to rewrite/reedit the series, this could be even better. Their marriage (just like his and mine relationship) had a troubled start, and it definitely kept being hard, but not for the same reasons.
And this last book has something the other two didn’t and that made me love it even more: Dante Antonio Rocchetti. All of Sophia and Alessandro’s scenes with their baby were the cutest, and I LOVE kids in books, so it added up some “free points” to their story—which makes me remember: the epilogue??? EXCELLENCE!!! I can’t wait to get to know all the Rocchetti Descendants better, and I am SO excited for Dante and Aurelia’s book!!!

This series has proven to be quite interesting. Very heavy on mafia politics, manipulation and secrets, with believable characters relevant for the story.
The author did a great job at showing the human duality. At 22, Sophia is highly intelligent, masterful manipulator and extremely ambitious. In the same time she is a good and caring mother and wife. I ended this series admiring her even if I don’t really like her. She did everything she could to survive and thrive even if the cards had always been stacked against her.
Alessandro is cruel, violent and cunning but devoted to his wife and children. He appreciates Sophia for who she really is and for what she can bring to their partnership. I appreciated him empowering Sophia and acknowledging her strengths as valuable to him. Smart man!
Maybe most of all the books, this final one shows their rise to power and it felt inspired from the history of British or French courts. The level of manipulation, the way Sophia speaks (actual words she uses at 22), the interactions with the other families and the finale, I felt like witnessing the rise of a king and queen. I don’t know if this is in fact the reality of the mafia but I liked the idea and it felt believable. There are some steamy scenes but nothing over the top and I quite enjoyed that.
My only issue was with the pacing that I felt was a bit slow. The writing in compelling enough but this was not the kind of series that I couldn’t put down.
But overall, the story is different from other mafia books out there. It felt much more authentic, less romantic but more realistic, with a great world building.
It is definitely worth the read if you are looking for a more serious mafia suspense with a side of romance.

The Journey of the Rocchetti Dynasty has come to an end. I feel – i do not know – sad. I really look forward to hearing more about the Rocchetti’s in future books. I would recommend reading the first two books “The Bloody Bride” & “The Principessa of Chicago” before starting this book, as it is the final installment of the Rocchetti Dynasty.
If I were to give one word for each book, I would say Book #1 is the Rise, Book #2 is the Climax, and Book #3 is the Ascension of the Rocchetti Dynasty.
The Rocchetti Queen, #3, finds us in the throes of the shocking ending in Book #2 and its aftermath. The family is in utter shock, but this event has left a power vacuum within the Family/the Outfit. Who will take over Don Piero’s throne? Who is loyal to whom? All these questions will be answered and much more – prepare yourself for some shocking revelations as the story unfolds.
For Sophia and Alessandro, these two have not only solidified their love for one another, but also their ambitions and working together as a team. We find them making moves to position themselves as the future Don & Donna of Chicago, while also trying to figure out their new title as parents. During the course of their ascension to the throne, Sophia uses her prowess of being a patient, intelligent, and cunning woman as an advantage to help her husband take his seat at the throne – while Alessandro handles the less than grainy side of things. Seriously, He’s known as the “Godless”, he’s an expert! Sophia would make a good politician. It’s in her blood.
There are things revealed which would shock you (or perhaps not – maybe you paid as much attention as i did while reading 🙂 ). Secrets are revealed. Boy are they revealed!!! We find out what happened to Alessandro’s mother, who killed Don Piero, the outcome of Adelasia’s case, knowing if Cat and Sophia will reunite, and the final showdown of who would be the new king of the Rocchetti clan. Through all these events, we will see who is truly loyal to Alessandro (one big surprise that I truly loved) and some interesting alliances which will have an impact on the future. One of the best things about this book was seeing the change in Alessandro, which you can see starting in Book #2. Love and family changes a man. This couple just bettered each other; they make a great team.
I cannot wait to see what will happen with future stories and possible couples. I hope that Bree decides to write about them 🙂 (Bree, I’m talking about “N” & “O” 😉 ). I was smiling as i was reading the epilogue. I was so happy. My guess was RIGHT!!! The second generation is going to be GREAT!!! This book was a welcomed conclusion to the Rocchetti dynasty. I hope to see more Rocchetti’s in the future. I tried to remain spoiler free, so please forgive me if i gave anything away unwillingly.

This book was the perfect ending to the series.
This was the third book in the series.
I loved loved loved the storyline of this book.
I just couldn’t put the book down.
The way the lives of the characters were written was just superb.
Sophia was such a powerful character. You could feel her power every time she does something.
Alessandro and Sophia were perfect for each other.
The chemistry between these two was just amazing. The way their relationship developed was so good. There were moments between them that made me laugh and cry.
I loved the epilogue and can’t wait to see what comes next.

And we have made it to the end. Kid you not, I cried for an hour straight after I finished this book. And ever since I did I have reread it a thousand times… I mean it. It’s just that good.
I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of being in Sofia’s head. She truly is a star. She took a man and turned him into a king, all while running a household. Alessandro couldn’t have done it without her and that is a fact. In all mafia books I’ve read we see the vulnerability of the girls in the mafia world, but Sofia reveled in it and despite her fears, she made the world she wanted to live in. Which was such a beautiful thing to see.

The most epic conclusion to an amazing series! I love Sophia and Alessandro’s love story. It’s taken them awhile to finally get it together, but O. M. G. They got their act together and have finally admitted their love is real.
While raising their new baby together and dealing with the FBI, enemies are closing in and Alessandro and Sophia are dealing with so many unknowns, they don’t know who to trust.
Alessandro finally realizes that he needs Sophia, because she was raised in this world too, and she knows how to be the Queen to his King.
Sophia’s character has developed from a quiet, shy girl to a formidable woman, someone who is quite capable of standing beside Alessandro to lead their family.
Alessandro’s character is my favorite transformation, because he went from a jerk, who I hated reading about, to someone who adored his wife and finally understood that in order to be the leader he needs to be, he needs his wife.
Also, this has the best epilogue. I am an epilogue lover. Give me a long game epilogue, and I am a happy reader, and this epilogue was like a whip cream with sprinkles and a cherry on top!

I’ve recently read the Rocchetti Dynasty series and I absolutely loved it. This series is rhe second one I’ve read from the author and I’m really loving the way she writes.
Sophia is a female character I admire a lot because she cares deeply about her family and always vows to protect them. I connected with her in a lot of characteristics that we have in common such as overthinking. I was able to understand why she would overthink certain situations because she wanted her family to well and she wanted them to feel safe in the world they live in.
Alessandro and Sophia’s chemistry is by far my favorite aspect of the series. I love every moment they have together were my favorites. Also even when they were going through tough times, it was always them in the end. Alessandro vowed to always protect his wife and kids and I think that was one of my favorite aspects of him. He actually took into consideration Sophia’s thoughts.
I truly can’t wait for the next generation and to know have more family moments like the ones in this series. The dynamic between the parents and kids was really nice to read about and I’m hoping to read more!

I loved it. ‘The Rochetti Queen’ is the perfect ending for this trilogy. I love mafia books and romance and this story has all the feelings.
Sophia has become more powerful, determined and confident than ever and it’s willing to do almost whatever it takes to be the next Chicago Donna besides his husband. Alessandro and Sophia have a difficult and dangerous path ahead of them to be king a queen of Chicago Outfit but working together is their best chance to succeed.
I’ve really enjoyed the plot and all the characters. The main ones, Sophia and Alessandro, are fierce, brave, determined, smart and are in love, and that make them the most dangerous and fearsome couple in the Outfit. The supporting characters are great too, Nero, Toto, Salvatore Jr., Chiara, Elena, Catherine,… every single one is interesting and fit in the story perfectly.
The only downside I’ve found in this book are still typos. There are a few but correcting them this book is beyond awesome.
I’m definitely reading the next books.

I looooved this trilogy! The conclusion is fantastic. It’s action packed and intense, mysterious and twisty. I really enjoyed the character growth for both Alessandro and Sophia. I love their “behind the mask” moments.
Also, this series has some very, VERY intriguing characters. I am hoping for lots and lots more books in this world but let me go ahead and claim Toto the Terrible as MINE!!
If you like mafia reads, this series is a definite must read.

“Our world was built on duty, violence and loyalty”
I loved this series from the beggining and now i’m a little sad to see it ended. so so many things happened in this book that is hard to review it without giving away spoilers. we finally got all the answers and everything was in the clear. Danta’s fate has been such a puzzle and i have to admit i did not saw that coming and i was shocked to discover what really happened to her. Aisling’s fate was another thing that really surprised me. we also got to see what happened with adelasia and her baby.
“We’re partners. He is my teammate. My heart. The father of my child.”
As for Sophia and Alessandro, we finally get too see them as a loving couple , as a couple who trust and help each other. Their scenes with little Dante warmed my heart. Seeing Alessandro, whom everyone perceived as a cold man, laughing and playing with his son was so touching. they face so many trials in this book. not only do they face an attack at the hands of someone unexpected, they also have to deal with the FBI, salvi jr. and the new mayor. it looks like they are being attacked from all parts. their only chance at winninng the was is by working together and supporting each other. between sophia’s cunning side and Alessandro’s ruthlesness, they are a force to be reckoned with. they will do everything in their power to ensure that the Don title gets inherited by alessandro. after a shocking discovery , they get precious support from a person they never expected it from. in order to avoid a disaster and to gain loyalty from an important player, sophia and alessandro must make a difficult decision. will it be worth it? will alessandro gain the throne of chicago?
We also get to see the outlining for future novels such as Tarkhanov empire or Dante’s book. Hints were dropped about Isabella’s series as well.
i loved the epilogue and how everything worked out for Sophia and Alessando. The epilogue is set a few years in the future and a few interesting facts were dropped. we got to see Dante’s personality and i think it’s safe to say we got a little alessandro on our hands. i can’t wait to read his story.
i love this series so much and i’m so happy to have found Bree and her books ( i annoy her all the time so she is probably less happy about it ) . Sophia is such a perfect heroine and she is right there with Valentina Cavallaro and Chloe Masters on my high pedestal. this series is a MUST for all lovers of Mafia Romance and Arranged Marriage. I can’t wait for Elena’s series and especially Dante’s book

This was such an epic conclusion of this fantastic series and it perfectly set-up future spin-offs! I loved the character growth and the layers of drama and action. I really like books that have a complexity that is pulled off well.
Sophia really felt like the brains behind the operation in this book. I love that she plays the perfect, demure society wife when in reality she kind of pulls the strings. It is great to see a strong mafia heroine who isn’t a complete idiot. I really hate when stubbornness is mistaken for strength in this type of books, so I really liked that she was actually a intelligent, powerful woman. She grows up quite fast from a twenty-two year old daughter, to a mother, CEO, and a wife at the same age.
Alessandro takes a back seat often times to Sophia since she is such a powerful character, but he still gets to shine. I really like that he was a pseudo-stay-at-home dad for a while. It was really sweet how he was described with Dante.
I also loved the bonus chapter set before Bloody Bride at the end! I am super excited for more mafia books from this author coming out! November is Elena’s book, but I am most excited for a book with Dante and Aurelia!
Overall, an awesome ending to a great series!
