Thi!s is a clean romance, which I truly enjoyed. I will read more from this author
Great book
boring
I really liked this book because I thought the story line very believable, especially for this time period. I also enjoyed reading it because it had a wide array of emotions and that made the story very entertaining and interesting.
It keep me interested from beginning to end
Truly an enjoyable book. I recommend this novel for anyone who enjoys historical fiction with a love story.
I liked it, it wasn’t fast reading but it was very enjoyable
I really liked the characters in this story.
I also liked that it took place in the country and not in London.
It was a sweet love story
IT was just a great read left great review already but i guess it didn’t go through,
like the twists and turns to falling in love. Proves we are all equal and respect it. carmen
I enjoyed reading the book and thinking of the way women were treated in the time of the book.. Just a piece of property to be told what to do and suppose to do it. Glad all women don’t do the bidding of their fathers..
Good distraction…
She writes with a deft touch and allows her stories more breathing room. It’s not just ‘miss-matched couple fall in love.’ Where other writers would neatly tie up the story with a happy ever after ending she lets the relationship — and the characters — continue to grow.
Entertaining, fun and sweet.
I enjoyed reading it.
I loved the first book in this series. It was smart, witty, beyond charming. So I was really excited to read this the second book in the series. However the main female character is absolutely annoying. She lacks intelligence to the point of annoying. Her personality is not there. There is nothing in this character except acting like a child. While the lead male is amazing and you wonder why he is putting up with her. She is insipid! I only finished the book hoping Miss Nottley would stop acting like a Pratt at some point.
Pleasant, feel good read.
Pleasant and entertainingl book
I enjoyed this book tremendously.
Loved the characters. Really cared about them.
Great historical romance
