You never forget your first kiss…Hannah Hayes loves her quiet life in Minnow, Montana, but when a lightning strike damages the town hall clocktower, Hannah is put in charge of hiring a contractor for the repairs. She knows the best choice is someone the town is slow to accept, but he’s also the guy Hannah has tried for years to forget.Jeremy McLachlan is hesitant to return to Minnow. His … return to Minnow. His parents’ divorce rocked the small town and left lots of bitterness, so he only goes back for the occasional visit to his grandma. But the familiar voice on the other end of the phone is intriguing enough that he accepts the clocktower project.
When Hannah is also given the responsibility to start a fundraiser for the repair costs, she gets even closer with Jeremy. Her instinct is not to trust him, from personal teenage experience, but she can’t help wishing he would come back for good, that she could be his reason to stay.

This is a wonderful, clean, and sweet romance. It’s a second chance romance set in a small town in Montana. The character definition was perfect, with some endearing and sweet characters you can’t help but love, and some you can’t help but dislike. Ms. Sinclair did an excellent job giving vivid descriptions of each scene that really gave you that small hometown feel. I enjoyed following Hannah and Jeremy’s journey and watching their relationship grow and turn into something beautiful. Their story will surely keep you turning the pages and bring a smile to your face. A sweet, wholesome story you do not want to miss! Looking forward to the next book!

Short and easy read but so very sweet! The characters were engaging, the writing was clean, and the plot flowed at a good pace. I love that the author touches on issues of trust and we can see the main character’s relationship grow instead of instant attraction and then immediate declarations of love. I really look forward to reading more from this author!
Refreshing story of Hannah and Jeremy with the attention on communication, feelings and respect. Recommended !!
The small town Minnow, Montana needs help but no one wants to utter the name of the family that can help them apart from Hannah and that leads to Jeremy McLachlan returning to Minnow years after his family left due to a decision his mother made that made his family town outcasts. You really get the feel of small town hard headed judgement as well as welcoming arms while seeing Jeremy and Hannah slowly see where their attraction will go while doing what they can to rebuild and cover the cost of the clocktower. There are some characters you immediately fall in love with and others you detest as well as characters like the rest of Jeremy’s family you want to know more about. This was the perfect read to keep you turning the page and a smile on your lips as you see Hannah and Jeremy falling for each other and seeing what a great life together they can have going forward. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!!!

A wonderful, clean, small town Montana romance. This is a great start to a new series. The characters are golden, as is the storyline – both the second chance romance and the decade old conflict. I cannot wait to read more of the McLachlan clan’s HEA.
