They say things happen at the right time. But what if you’re in the right place, and things don’t go to plan? Like the fact my mentor, the man I look up to, aspire to be like, passed away leaving me in charge. A billion-dollar company I need to keep going. I may seem like I have everything together, that money and business are all I care about, but I know if I found that perfect woman, I would … woman, I would make time to fit her into my now hectic lifestyle.
Again, they say things happen at the right time.
Like the fact my mentor’s daughter happened to be at the same coffee shop parking lot as me this morning. I haven’t seen her for years, but she’s even more stunning than I remember. Unfortunately, she’s down on her luck and completely immune to my charms.
Is it possible I’ve found ‘the one’? Or will my feelings get in the way of everything my mentor and I have built from the ground up?

Book one in The Serendipity Duet series and this suspense book kept me on the edge of my seat as I read. Either Adam or Georgia has a stalker but who is the target really. I want to read the next book. This is a new Author to me. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
4.5 stars
Adam Cunningham, a once troubled teen, inherits the business of his mentor and former boss Ed, an incredibly successful businessman. Years later Adam runs into Georgia Geller, Ed’s daughter, who is now homeless, forced to live out of her car after her mother swindled her inheritance away, following her father’s death. In an attempt to help her get back on her feet, Adam offers her a job and place to stay, neither of them knowing that it would lead to much more.
This story has suspense, drama, and twists and turns along the way. It is well written with nice character development and great chemistry. The story definitely pulls you in. I will warn you though, it ends in cliffhanger, so be prepared, you’re going to want to go one to book 2 once it comes out.
This was the first book I’ve read by Alana Jade and I look forward to reading more.
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The Right Place was my first Alana Jade read and she didn’t disappoint. Her writing is great and it flowed perfectly, which kept me turning those pages.
This is a story about a troubled teen who was helped and mentored by a great business man, when the mentor died Adam took over the company. Many years later he bumps into his mentors daughter who is in a bad situation. He offers her job and a place to stay, not expecting sparks to fly but they do.
This book has a cliffhanger ending and I’m hanging to see what happens in the next book.
The Right Place a story about the lives of Adam and Georgia two lives that have a past connection. Sometimes if feels that it will never be the right place and time to be happy.
Adam stumbles across Georgia in a carpark at a local coffee shop, what he didn’t expect was that the homeless wowan was the daughter of his onetime mentor and boss. A boss who you died 8 years earlier and left him the company. Both have a past they don’t want te reveal, however secrets always surface.
The storyline has suspence drama and plenty of chemistry with a dash of danger. I can’t wait to read book2 to see how this plays out.
I was hooked from the very beginning with the well written storyline and characters that were so well detailed that as I turned each and every page I felt like Adam and Georgia pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
