I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.
“I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.”
An amazingly fresh fairytale. I really loved all the angst and drama between Ada, Ro and Theo. I highly recommend this book!
3.5 Star Review.
This is the third book in the Modern Princess Collection. Each book is its own story, the common thread is the location of CamU. I enjoy reading the Modern Princess Collection and look forward to the next book each time I finish the current one.
I have read the first 2 books and loved them. This one was not quite as wonderful in my opinion. Although, others will love it. I felt like Ada was too indecisive. She thought her roommates’ brother, Ro, was her true love, she kissed him and felt like all was right in the world. Then she goes to her best friend Theo and tells him all about it. The problem? Theo has feelings for Ada and knows that the roommates’ brother is entirely wrong for her. There were many times that I wanted to shake Ada, wake her up, and make her realize that Ro was not what he seemed. Theo was the one for her. She needed someone to call her out on her mixed-up feelings and make her realize that her soulmate is right in front of her eyes.
I would still recommend reading this series. They are fun twists with fairytales woven into their story.
A sweet novel. An easy-going retelling of the ”Princess and the Pea” with sympathetic characters that were well described. Knowing and understanding one’s emotions is never an easy clear-cut case. The fact that Ada is infatuated with Cicero, her friend’s handsome brother is one thing but waking up in Theo, her long-time friend’s bed, remembering their kiss is enough to make any girl totally confused. A crush, however, is nowhere near as strong an emotion as love and as with all decent fairy-tales, we get a HEA, worth reading.

This was a welcome surprise as I hadn’t seen a re-tellling of the Princess and the Pea yet and this was sweet. The story is short but you don’t lose out on anything because the writer does a great job of getting the points across. Ada is in love with Cicero but Theo is her best friend and right from the beginning I could feel Theo being a better match for her. But there are other things at play and I loved getting to read how they moved from all that. At times the dialogue and the way Theo behaved was childish but thinking of their ages, it did make some sense.
The Right Princess is the story of Ada and she has a huge crush a girl with a huge crush on her roommate’s brother. Then there is Theo who starts to develop feelings towards her. But Ada and Theo have to keep there feelings and attraction towards each other a secret and they don’t want to ruin there friendship. But what happens when Ada finally gets what she want only to realize that it might not even be true to begin with and you were wrong the entire time about everything. Will Ada get her happily ever after you will have to read this book it find out.

Right princess by Autumn Archer.
She has an epic crush… on the wrong guy.
A brilliant read. I loved the story and some of the characters. Ada was my favourite character. I liked Theo too. 5*.
This book was an interesting re-telling of “The Princess and the Pea”. Ada is the daughter of famous jewelers to the rich and famous and is told that she must marry a man with at least as much money and prestige as she has. Her favorite color is green, she is a bartender and her best friend is Theo. Ada is a student at CamU and works at the Reef, she is deathly afraid of open water and she thinks she is “in love” with her roommate’s brother, Ro. Theo is always looking out for her as Ada is very accident prone. He even tries to help her overcome her fear of open water so that she can go to a pool party that Ro’s girlfriend is throwing. At the party, Ada is thrown into the pool and is rescued by Ro, who then winds up kissing her in the dressing room. Ada is confused and runs to Theo where she proceeds to get so drunk that Theo has to take her back to his house. They share a kiss, then Ada gets sick and the next morning she wakes up in Theo’s bed with a bag of peas in her hand wearing Theo’s favorite t-shirt. At first she only remembers her kiss with Ro, but days later she remembers that she also shared on with her best friend. Now Ada is really confused and torn and while she tries to sort it all out, her relationship with Thorn gets damaged. You will have to read the book to find out if this “princess” gets her prince charming and her HEA.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
3.5*
This one is the retelling of The Princess and the Pea. This one was ok. I was not really connecting with the characters in this story. We start off with Ada pining for her roommate and friend’s brother and then hours later she is seeing her best friend Theo in a different light. There was a lot of back and forth between these two. Like Theo walking into a situation not getting an explanation and then Ada chases after him and boom he is with another woman like minutes later. This one just wasn’t for me.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
Autumn Archer has written a 5-star book that is the story of Ada and Theo. Ada is from a wealthy family and she is at college but she doesn’t want anyone to know who her family is. Ada works with Theo at The Reef Bar. She is roommates with Kitty and Ada has a thing for Kitty’s brother Ro. There is a time when Ro kisses Ada and when she tells Theo about it he gets upset. Ro has an on-off girlfriend and he doesn’t really notice Ada. Theo is in love with Ada but has not done anything about it due to her thing with Ro. There is a misunderstanding between Ada and Theo and he tells her he is leaving and at work he has changed to days so they don’t work together. This has Ada really down. She asks Theo to go to the ball with her but he tells her that the bar is throwing his going away party that night. She and Kitty go to the ball and she decides she doesn’t want to be there and just as she is leaving, Ro stops her to talk. As they are talking Theo comes in and sees them and turns around and leaves. Ada goes after him but she can’t catch him. When she finds him they have a talk and she tells him how she feels about him and he does the same.
Will Ada and Theo realize they are perfect for each other?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

I read an arc copy of this book
Loved Ada & Theo’s story in the Right Princess. Its cute, loving, funny and full of banter. An amazing connection between two people. A must read xx
I struggled to get in to this book at first. I don’t know why. I love Autumn Archer and her books, I knew it would be worth it, by chapter 2 I was hooked.
A real feel good, princess happy ever after, yet at same time so relatable.
A great example of the thin line of love and hate, from lust to destiny!!!!
Theo and Ada really are made for each other but what does Ada do? She friends him a man that is really in love with her always has her back and comes to her aid. Ada is the next heir for their family and her parents wants her to marry someone rich and she goes after Cicero a man that is dating someone else. As the drama builds, will she miss out on a man that could be her happily ever after instead of a man that is insignificant? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
I’m super excited about this series. This was a quick but sweet story. It felt like something I haven’t really read before and I love that. I bet Ada was fun to write, as it was just her POV, but you could feel how Theo felt.
Ada’s father is determined that she will marry a man as rich as she is, or there will be consequences. Ada and Theo best friends, and there are no lovey doves feelings between the two, afterall Ada has a crush on her best friends brother, but he is with someone else, so she has to watch from the sidelines. But what happens after too much alcohol and the morning after the night before? Well, Ada discovers that Theo is leaving town, but has no idea why! This is a a friends to lovers college romance.
Right Princess by Autumn Archer is the third book in the Modern Princess collection. It is a stand alone book and can be read without reading the rest of the collection.
Wow, did this story lead me on an emotional rollercoaster! There were so many times I wish I could have just shook Ada and Theo to their senses! Having said that, there were some really sweet and heartwarming moments in this story and I found it to be a great read.
The story is based as a modern version of the Princess and the pea. Unfortunately I am not personally very familiar with the Princess and the pea so I can’t comment on that side of things, however, just as the story was, I found it very enjoyable and easy to read.
This book was a modern “Princess and the Pea” retelling. Right Princess it was a best friend to lovers fairytale romance, it was a fun and super fast read!
Ada is in lust with her roommates brother (Cicero) while ignoring the fact that the right guy for her (Theo, her best friend) has been in front of her all along.
I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review, and I plan to buy this book when it becomes available.
The Modern Princess Collection is going along so good so far! I absolutely loved Right Princess it was a bestfriend to lovers fairytale romance, it was a fun and super fast read! Theo was dreamy and swoonworthy! Ada was a quirky princess and l loved them together!
Deliciously Sweet and Funny!
I absolutely loved this story! It is a fantastic friends to lovers romance between two very entertaining characters, Theo and Ada. The story is fast paced and utterly delicious. Theo and Ada have a wonderful friendship that is cute and quirky. Ada had me laughing out loud with her obsessions, her quirkiness and with how clumsy she is. She reminded me of myself when I was her age.
At times Theo and Ada will frustrate you to no end! They may have you screaming at your kindle wanting to bash their heads together. I mean come on get it together you two!
This story will take you on an emotional journey through obsession, passion and steam. It will captivate your heart and entertain you throughout. Such a fantastic and sweet love story!
