Ria Phillips has a plan. Stay strong. Stay busy. Stay focused on what’s important. And don’t start daydreaming again about a certain pair of soulful hazel eyes. No, it won’t be easy. Jacob Worth was her first love. Her first time. Her first everything. Until he left town one day without explanation. He broke her heart back then, but she’s not a teenager with a crush anymore. She’s an adult–with a … adult–with a plan.
In the past eight years, Ria has built a good life for herself in her small hometown. She and her friends have used their creativity and business savvy to turn the little florist shop she inherited into an astonishing success. She’s got more than enough in her life to be proud of, and she’s going to make sure Jacob sees that.
She’s not going to let him rattle her. She’s not going to watch him from afar, even if he’s even hotter than before. And she’s definitely not going to fall into bed with him. Or, if she accidentally slips up, it will only be once.
She learned her lesson a long time ago, and she’s not going to fall for Jacob again.

Part of a series and of course after this book I want to read them all!
Lots of graphic porn-like scenes with a story mixed in.
Just a fun book, super enjoyable series.
I love second chance books.
The awkward thing got me. It made it real and whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing depends on the person maybe. I personally don’t care for it. It took me a while and I just realized I wasn’t into them. Give me someone who is comfortable with themselves and their place in the world.
Same old stuff
Jacob and Ria
A very, very sweet romance filled with tragedy and hope. Two people that deserved a second chance at love get that chance.
A quick enjoyable afternoon read. I will read more of this series.
Small town love story gone wrong. 8 years later they have the opportunity to reunite but need to deal with issues at hand. Entertaining and funny at times, relaxing read.
I have enjoyed the books by Noelle Adams regarding the 2nd chance flower shop. All the characters appear in one another’s books, and I have to wait until Feb 9 to get the last one. I can’t want to read about Fritz, who has been a small character in all the books. I bet he turns out to be really something.
Nicely written story
A teenage love that returned after 8 years of neglect.
Loved it
Great book
Enjoyable second chance romance.
I’ve never had a book capture my attention so quickly. I finished this book in one day. I like it a lot. 🙂
A young couple separated for 8 years refinds an adult life love.
A simple but marvellously lovely story of meant to be, forever, long-distance, forgiving and one and only endearment!
Had a hard time reading. Found it slow moving and predictable. The characters were dull. Had a hard time getting into Jacob’s character.
This is my first book by Noelle Adams and, for me, The Return was just okay. Predictable, and a bit generic (though her covers are beautiful!), but well written. I’m not sure if I will continue with the series, though I am curious about Adeline and Kens’ story. I may come back to it later, but I’m not in a hurry to move on in this particular series.
