“I loved the fact the story was built on interpersonal relationships, not sex. The main characters fell in love slowly and honestly… Melissa Storm is a pro at character development, and it shows.” ★★★★★ from Becca

I wanted to read this book because I’m a florist and thought it bring up some nice or funny things about being a florist. I wish authors would do more research by talking to real florists so they can write intelligently. The parts about flowers were not what a real florist would do. Disappointing read for me anyway.
A touching story with wonderful characters! A realistic storyline illustrating God’s impact on our lives when we let him into our hearts.
Such a great story! Made me eye roll at some of the situations but still quite enjoyable. I’ll be reading more from this author
Enjoyable read
Cute. Somewhat predictable but light and easy reading.
Happy ending
A romantic tale. The author should not write a self justification at the beginning.
Love’s Prayer (First Street Church Romances #1) was another great read by Melissa Storm. Summer Smith finds herself at a crossroads. She has graduated college and doesn’t know what will come next. She takes over her aunt’s flower shop for a season while her aunt goes on a cruise. Ben Davis has lived his life in the shadows of his families greatest tragedy. He is so desperate that he considers taking his own life. Miraculously Ben and Summer bump into each other and may just find everything their looking for in each other. I really enjoyed reading their story and can’t wait to read more by Melissa Storm.
This is an interesting story about 2 people who don’t feel wanted by others. They haven’t found their worthiness & don’t accept what worth they have to each other. Some lessons we all probably need in our lives.
Depression is a tough topic but Melissa Storm has written an inspiring story focused on someone making it out of the clutches of depression. Melissa’s characters are well drawn and believable. The supporting characters and town are also well portrayed. Difficult subjects are well handled. I highly recommend this book.to any fan of Christian romance.
Melissa has written a clean, sweet story that’s realistic and romantic. She shows life the way it is: messy, full of past mistakes, and heartfelt. Her main characters are honest in their struggles, turning bit-by-bit to a faith in God for help. Life isn’t all sunshine and flowers (pun intended since part of it takes place in a flower shop), but good things do happen, even in the midst of discouragement and challenges. This book was a page-turner for me, not because of suspense, but because I fell in love with the characters and wanted to see how it all turned out. I’m ready for your next book, Melissa!
You can turn bad situations around. Faith, prayer and patience. Christian romance, good read.
Have you ever been on a quest to find yourself? Have you ever felt like you were suppose to be doing something else with your life? And what about finding the right mate, having a child or not or just trying to fit in with a group?
Well let me just say that Love’s Prayer may have you questioning things all over again or help you make the right choices now. I know that it is a story about a character named Summer Smith (love the name) that is at this point in her life and how she is praying for direction in her life. Summer is a well written character. I fell right into the pages of her life and the choices she makes and how she makes them.
The character Ben Davis is written with a lot of back story as to why he is the way he is, and it helps you to understand him and all the choices he has made. There were times I wanted to throttle him. I also wanted to just tell him to let go of the past and start new. Learn from the past but go on and make better choices.
Believing in someone means that you can see the potential in their future and who they are now, not holding the past over their head.
Author Melissa Storm has written a story of faith, letting go, looking forward, and hope for the future that pulled me in and now want to know more of these two characters life’s.
So for all the reasons above I will be giving this book a Breath of Life rating of:
Five Clock Rating!!
Disclosure: I did receive the above book in exchange for my honest opinion and or review.

very good read
Ben, Summer find love so innocently, the mishaps she has at the florist is hilarious.
I am sorry but I just couldn’t get through it. After reading about 1/3 of the book it didn’t interest me in the least and deleted it from my kindle
not sure about this book…havent finished it yet not sure if i will
I loved this story. It is such a touching story of how a suicide affects a community and how the community works together to get past that one moment in time. This is a great plot without being too melodramatic. I loved the ending.
Very simplistic love story. Not very challenging, but an easy, relaxing read
Enjoyed this story and so typical of every day life.
