A great reminder that it is important to stand on one’s own!
Look forward to the next sequel.
I really enjoyed this read.
I thought Fenway was a bit “forward” and lacked much character.
Enjoyed it. Ready for the second one.
The characters were interesting, but the plot was not believable.
Predictable and not really my taste. in reading.
The book was very realistic. I found Fenway a very relatable character in that she wants love and acceptance from her father and friends. She is a fierce woman who marches to her own beat.
This book was very intriguing, I decided to purchase book 2 as well.
A woman takes a coroner position after the previous coroner is found dead. She gets the job due to her father’s influence as the largest employer in the county. She is reluctant to take the job because of it, but needs the money.
Enjoyable mystery.
Fenway is new to town and she takes up the job of the coroner and the catch is that the previous coroner had been killed.
Fenway’s character and the town she comes into has been etched very well by the author. Her relationship with the town and its people was unique despite the position she held there.
Then the mystery itself was complicated with enough twists and turns all the way through.
Enjoyed reading it.
What I got to read was great. Unfortunately my old Kindle died before I got half way thru the book. Is there any way I can put it in my new Kindle?
Ok for an hour or so. Writing is ok. Rather naive and unbelievable
I read the whole series. Not the best, but I loved it. The characters are familiar after #1. Where is # 6?
A fun read. Surprise ending.
Enjoyed this book very much. Lost some sleep because I didn’t want to stop but it was worth it.
Great characters. Couldn’t put this book down. Good story. Very enjoyable read. Thanks
Good book about a daughter whose Father abandoned her and her mother o over twenty years ago. Then he calls to see if she will come to the town he is in and apply for a job. Fenway Stevenson is her name. She took back her mother’s maiden name. The town is in for a shock when they meet her and she is in shock how much of the town her dad Nathaniel Ferris owns and how much he is hated by the majority of the tow.
The job Fenway is to interview for is Coroner because the previous one had been murdered. Fenway is an RN, PA and only one course shy of her Forensics degree so she is a lot more qualified than the murdered coroner was. This is action-packed, most of the characters are like able if not lovable but a few of them worked my nerve. Before she has been on the job a week she has another murder to solve besides the prior coroner. There are lots of twists and turns and plenty on unusual things that happen. I think most people would enjoy this book.
Loved the series!
Enjoyed it!
