Another great read in this series. This is Dillon’s story and it is hot and steamy!
Very sensual, suspenseful, sexual healing
The Rehabilitation of Master Dillon by P Nelson is an excellent introduction to this series, setting up the overall theme of the books to come. All of the characters are engaging and very interesting. Smart and sexy all around. Master Dillon is wonderful, I loved how wonderfully he interacts with all the women he engages with and look forward to learning more about him throughout the series. Master Flynn has me completely intrigued. When he and Calla finally work out their tension, it’s gonna be fireworks!
Having already read Wicked Game, I am starting from the beginning and enjoying this series very much. I will be reading The Heart of the Matter next guaranteed!
Master Dillon’s journey back to being a strong alpha Dom doesn’t disappoint. Dillon’s confidence was shaken to the core when his sub accused him of the unthinkable and since then he has been trigger shy. So when Calla comes to him with a plan to try and get him back in the saddle he is all for it. Dillon is going to have to jump in and out of his comfort zone to get back to the Dom extraordinary that he was. Joining us on this journey of course is Calla (in all her wisdom), Master Flynn (in all his stubbornness), Master Gaige (in all his hot insatiable loyalty), some naughty subs that add a bit of spice. And just when he finally gets his feet back somewhat under him a very unwelcome ghost rears its ugly head and threatens to derail everything. But never fear last rebab step may be the most transforming and long lasting – ah the TPE! Back to the Cage we go jiggety jig!

This book couldn’t have been better titled.
Master Dillon needed some therapy and Calla, the resident therapist of the Club he goes to regularly, gives him a run for his time with the set of steps she advice him to take. She can’t force him to do them but she strongly advice him to do so. And he did.
I love that this book was center on one characters and his development. The experiences he had following Calla’s steps where eye-opening for Master Dillon and necessary to his recovery.
Never in my life I’ve read, so far, a book that can pull what P. Nelson did with this prequel. Specially with a short novella like this one.
The Rehabilitation of Master Dillon showed a side that people need to see, at least in fiction, about the BDSM lifestyle that not everyone grasp. The Master is a person that is susceptible to hurt just like the submissive, and that damage done to a Dominant can have repercussions.
Books that portrait strong characters with flaws are my favorite type of books of all times. Master Dillon was strong, confident and his session dealing with the sexual side are just off the chart scorching.
I adored this book from start to finish. I wished it was longer but I know there a full novel after this that I need to go pick up.
