Marie Carrington is running from a host of bad memories. Broke and desperate, she’s hoping to find safety and sanctuary on Prince Edward Island, where she reluctantly agrees to help decorate a renovated bed-and-breakfast before it opens for prime tourist season.Seth Sloane didn’t move three thousand miles to work on his uncle’s B&B so he could babysit a woman with a taste for expensive … expensive antiques and a bewildering habit of jumping every time he brushes past her. He came to help restore the old Victorian–and to forget about the fiancée who broke his heart.
The only thing Marie and Seth agree on is that getting the Red Door Inn ready to open in just two months will take everything they’ve got. Can these two wounded souls find hope, healing, and perhaps a bit of romance on this beautiful island?
Step into the Red Door Inn, a lovely home away from home tucked along the north shore of fabled Prince Edward Island. It’s a place where the wounded come to heal, the broken find forgiveness, and the lonely find a family. Won’t you stay for the season?

I loved it. I couldn’t put it down because I devoured it ASAP! I even had to get the rest of the series because I was captivated and devoured them too. Characters are real and have real life issues and flaws. I could relate to them on some level and I was challenged to grow in my faith as a result.
Easy read and enjoyable.
Really liked reading this book.
Great book! Loved it!
Loved the development of the characters. They learned to trust and work together on projects!
The Red Door Inn is about a young lady that was raised in a wealthy home. Her mother died at an early age and her workaholic father had very little time for her with the exception of when she could contribute his chances of winning a business deal. The book is well written and will keep you coming back until the end.
I really enjoyed this book. I would definitely like to read the next one in the series. I highly recommend it to others.
It made you want more of what was going to happen in the Inn.
Kept me retested from page one. Good story telling. Local color.
Easy read and return to if you had to put it down.
I really liked the book. The characters were enjoyable and likeable.
I found this book easy to read and entertaining. Would read more by this author.
If you are interested in restoring and furnishing old houses, you’ll enjoy the setting of this book.
This book just did not have that something that kept me from wanting to put it down.
Good book, easy reading but very predictable. And wasn’t informed that it is a series.
I really enjoyed it.
wonderful book!
Loved this book! Can’t wait to read othrr books by this author. I’ve already read the sequel and am ready for more. I read a lot and often don’t remember much about a book once I finish it, but this book was unforgetable!
Real life is full of twists and turns. Those who have much do not always have what is most important in life, love. Love will prevail will one seeks it with a true heart and gives up the human factor of presumption
I enjoyed it
