“Shall we begin?”When spoken by my new husband, these three little words fill me with terror and anticipation. In private, King Henry rules my body like he rules his country—with unrelenting control and passion. I crave his orders, his punishment, his commands. Outside the bedroom, we’re strangers caught in a web of lies and decadence. Our marriage is a sham, a business arrangement devised to save … business arrangement devised to save my life and secure his crown. He doesn’t love me. He loves my body, controlling it, shaming it, worshipping it. To survive the dangers at court, I need to be smart, but it’s hard to think straight with a man like Henry between my legs.
Each night, he locks the bedroom door, determined to teach me a new lesson. Obedience, patience, trust. I lie awake in bed waiting for the sound of his footsteps and the latest installment in pleasure and pain. My heart pounds when the hinges creak and his broad shoulders block the door. I’m not ready, but I can’t wait to feel his hands on me. He shoves his bowtie into my mouth, binds my hands to the headboard, and whispers in my ear…

Jeanne E. Mann is one of my one-click authors and you have no idea how thrilled I am over having the ability to be able to receive a copy of “The Rebel Queen.” If you’ve read any of her books, then you know she has a unique style that just grabs hold and doesn’t let you go until the story is finished. This is no exception. I don’t want to give any spoilers in this review because I know you’re going to want to read every delicious word for yourself. But before you do, I want you to know you’ll receive, intrigue, mystery, betrayal, fear, wonder, and a sexual chemistry that is so overwhelmingly HOT, it takes your breath. This was so worth the wait. And now I’m really wondering about Nicky’s story…. Hint, hint. I am so proud to be able to give my honest and voluntary five-star review.
I absolutely loved this read. This was my second book from Jeana, but it was absolutely my favorite. That being said. I need to read every other book she has written because not only do I love her crafting of a plot, but her characters are glorious.
This duo was everything. I love royalty reads and this one was not only a royal read but it was a marriage of convenience. EVERYTHING. This story was everything. Keep the bride you need for a title at arms length to keep your crown?
Sounds like a super great plan.
NOT. These two were not only destined for each other but I was on the tips of my toes waiting for these two to finally just let what was in front of them becoming what ti was meant to be.
Throw in some twists that leave you filled with anticipation and a kingdom to rule and you won’t be disappointed in this read. I know I wasn’t.
This is the intensely hot conclusion to this duet. It’s a beautifully written story about King Henry and Everly and newly developed relationship is tested by outside forces. So seductive and full of intrigue and passion, JM once again brings an amazing amount of sophistication to this romance.

I loved Rebel Queen . Jeana E. Mann is a new author to me , but after reading the Rebel Queen Duet i will definitly be adding more of her books to my TBR list .
I think Nicky needs a book too .
Awesome ending to the duet. I loved the heat/chemistry between Henry and Everly. Their encounters will leave you breathless. I highly recommend this duet.
With no where to turn Everly finds herself married to Prince Henry. It is a marriage of convenience with conditions, mot notably they will consummate their marriage imminently. Henry though has a desire to be in control and Everly is not a submissive woman. Henry is very direct in what he wants and one of those things is her loyalty. However there are others who would love nothing better then to tear these two apart. Will feelings become involved with a happily ever after or are they doomed to fail?
The story gripped me from the beginning. Chemistry sizzles off the pages. This is the second part to Royal Arrangement and does not disappoint. Page turning story.
Thank you Wildfire for an advanced copy. I voluntarily reviewed this book. All opinions expressed are my own.
OMG!!! I loved this duet!! Phenomenal story full of love, passion, and head butting!! Two strong personalities that learn to mesh! Had a little bit of everything!! Freaking phenomenal!!!
The Rebel Queen by Jeana E. Mann is the second book in her Rebel Queen Duet . The full-length story of what happens next following on from The Royal Arrangement and our introduction to Everly and Henry. Well-written and well-paced this book was SOOOO steamy! The back and forth that Everly was experiencing about her emotions for Henry was not my favorite but I can’t say, honestly, if I was ever fortunate enough to be in her stilettos that I wouldn’t have the same doubts. While the premise of marrying a hot wealthy prince/soon-to-be king is NOT everyday normal the characters were still very real and well fleshed out. I am definitely a new fan of Jeana E. Mann and have already started reviewing her book list to see what I want to read next… Enjoy!
“I forget the rules of our relationship. I forget about the ban on kisses, our lessons, my desire to keep her at an emotional distance, and—most of all, I forget to protect my heart.”
Following the twists of the first book, Everly and Henry must join forces. And so, the last part of the duet begins with the two getting married. But between the war Everly’s emotions are waging in her head and Henry’s change in mood and posture, this ceremony is far from a fairy tale. But with her life at stake and his throne threatened, giving up is not an option.
And if it were not enough to have to deal with her new enigmatic and distant husband, arriving in a strange country and facing the wrath of a hateful mother-in-law and get a visit from an ex with potential for confusion would not be easy. With all eyes on the new Queen, learning to navigate shark-infested water will drain the forces that Everly still possesses. By adding countless archaic customs, several appointments that do not leave her free time, a drastic change in her wardrobe, and Henry distance, Everly will find herself on the verge of a nervous breakdown. And find herself alone, at the mercy of others and locked in her own room will only increase her anger.
But the more challenges are thrown at her, the more she will strengthen and show that she will never bow to others will. She may have become Queen, but she is still the same person beneath all luxury and royalty.
Henry, on the other hand, will be buried in trouble. Ruling a country will not be easy, especially after so many years of neglect. But Everly will be his biggest challenge. After all, falling in love with his wife was never in his plans. Their marriage was just a business deal. But his wife is proving to be a weakness he cannot afford to possess.
But over time, they will realize that if they want to triumph in this new game that life has put them in, they must stick together. And with that, the lines between duty and pleasure will be broken. One by one.
The chemistry between the two remains explosive. Everly does not cower at Henry’s demands and rebounds at the same time. The moments he supports her are the best parts of the book.
As for the great threat of the plot, I thought something was missing. The book creates suspense but does not deliver its apex. Everly’s father had the potential to do great damage, but stood aside in the plot. Like the problems of Androvia, where the retaliations of other corrupt nations over the changes implemented by Henry are not explored.
The end was a nice touch, returning exactly where it all began. Everly and Henry fought for their happy endings. And they deserved it.

The perfect ending!
This duet is absolutely amazing and there are twists and turns and so intriguing and addictive that you have to keep turning the pages to see what happens next.
This book will capture your attention from the beginning so get ready for a rollercoaster ride of emotions and steamy sexual chemistry. Everly starts to unravel all the things that Henry failed to mention to her before they got married. Everly and Henry have such a connection and there chemistry is off the charts.
I am definitely looking forward to reading more books from the author and I definitely recommend this duet and you will not be disappointed.
The book is a good romantic suspense read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry.

The title in this book is very apt with Everly trying to buck the long established system of royals but also shows a more personable side towards the people, which they love.
Not everyone is happy with their union & there are threats towards the couple esp Everly. There is some drama from this.
I suppose the main focus is on our couple with them only thinking it’s just a physical tryst. Henry not wanting to get too attached & Everly hoping for more. While Henry is definitely dominant it is mentioned however not in any great detail for those who aren’t into that sort of thing.
Told in dual POV’s, which is a bonus, as you get into both their heads. Henry to me was still the arrogant one while Everly showed her feisty side as well a more human one.
If you enjoyed the first book you won’t be disappointed with the conclusion to their story.
I also loved the cover!

This book carries on from where book one left off. Henry and Everly’s relationship starts off as a business arrangement, for want of a better expression. Everly is a strong willed women who is a perfect foil to Henry. Gradually their relationship turns to something else. I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend it.

Everly and King Henry were everyting I wanted them to be.
I loved the conclusion to the Rebel Queen Duet. With The Royal Arrangement sucking you in, the Rebel Queen was exactly what I was needing to finish it off. A bit of angst, a ton of heat, and an hea. What could be better? An alpha leading man you say? Don’t worry, Jeana’s got you covered. Prince Henry and his dirty mouth, a stern taskmaster for sure. His lessons make Everly quiver and quake with every Shall we begin?!
Jeana’s sexy scenes are fabulous. They play right into my imagination. Are they descriptive? Yes, to a point, and I absolutely LOVE that! They way she writes, you have no doubt that the sexy continues long after her first O! I love the fact that she lets the story line speak for itself instead of relying solely on scorching sex to keep you reading.
I could have read another.. she could have made this a trilogy and gone deeper into subterfuge with Everly’s father, deeper into mischeif with Lady Clayton or Prince Henry’s mother, but then I’m afraid I would have wanted 4 books and then 5.
Jeana’s writing is thoroughly engaging, and hard to put aside. She keeps the suspense rolling, the sexy coming, and her characters loving to exasperate each other, leading you towards that HEA that everyone seems to want.
Well done, Jeana, well done!
And finally that day came when we were able to know the conclusion of Henry’s and Everly’s story. And oh my what a conclusion it was.
This story is full of power, domination, passion, lust, undeniable desire, unexpected love and intrigues, oh so many intrigues… Basically once you start it you won’t be able to put it down until the end. Whole scenery written by Jeana is done so impeccable you almost feel like you would be walking around by yourself.
As for the story book two starts just after the first one ended. Everly marries Henry and as his consort she is going to unknown for her Androvia where she doesn’t know what to expect.
And as you may suspect palace life isn’t easy for her. She will have to face off her other in law and many people from the court especially previous fiance of Henry Lady Catherine which I hate as much as the Queen Mother sooo much… If you know why you’ll have to read this book.
As for Henry. Life isn’t treating him easy as well. Cause being the King may be the hardest part of his life as there is. And to all country matters Henry will face his undisputable growing feelings toward Everly. But will something that was first the simple business arrangement can turn to be one true love? That undeniable chemistry between these two definitely could help.
So chemistry of the charts, intrigues, power, passion and all other delicious things makes this duet definitely a must read for autumn and definitely whole year. So don’t hesitate more and one click these jewel. You will thank me later.
Start with the end of Royal Arrangement, Rebel Queen begin in fast pace.
The whirl wind wedding then whisked away to her new home, Everly face a new challenge. Becoming the King consort. With a new mother in law from hell and ex fiancee who I love to trample in her snotty face. And a husband she doesn’t know if she can trust nor rely on.
While Henry face his job as the new King with a father in law who treaten his wife, an unstable country, his own people lifes and his wife, whom he can’t surely trust with his heart.
I like their chemistry and the way they battle every second of their relationship. I like how they feel real with their issues. I like how they talk and fight and argue and make up.
My only problem with how the author portrayed their relationship is how she dangle the carrot.
As in, from the first chapter, their sexual tension is sky high. I can just feel their burning desire on the tip of my tongue. The author did a great job in building the tension. The foreplay is perfect. On their wedding night, the author dissapointed me in a big way.
The scene just ended with insinuation that the deed happened. The next chapter, in Everly monologue, she describe what he had done to her last night while we, the readers, get nothing! I feel cheated.
For me steamy scenes are part of romance books. From them I see n feel the flow, the changes, the mood of the characters. I don’t understand why the author dangling the carrot like that.
Good thing she doesn’t do it through the whole book.
The other thing that make me give four instead of five star, is the fact about Everly’s father. He is a big threat to her. He was the reason Henry use to convince her to be his wife. Then why are we only having his news in passing and little in the end??? I kinda wish there’s gonna be little suspence or action with her dad’s issue

The Rebel Queen
By: Jeana E. Mann
*REVIEW*
The Rebel Queen picks up where The Royal Arrangement left off. I recommend reading this duet in order for the sake of continuity. Now, how about this book? Henry and Everly begin this new phase of their relationship as a married couple, but it’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Henry is busy and distracted in his new position. He tries to keep Everly at a distance, to no avail, because he just can’t help falling completely for her. Everly now occupies a role that is open to criticism and gossip, and she gets both in spades. Will her relationship with Henry be enough to carry her through this royal labyrinth? Despite these tough adjustments, the chemistry and hotness doesn’t waver with these two. Henry is tough, protective and sexy hot. Everly is sassy, intelligent and enchanting. The story is engaging, compelling, sinfully hot and hard to put down. Henry and Everly are pure magic together, and their struggles to survive in a scandalous dangerous situation are relatable. The narrative is sharp, well structured and complex. I couldn’t wait to read the next page! Overall, The Rebel Queen is a satisfactory conclusion to an entertaining and delightfully fun duet.
This was a great conclusion to The Rebel Queen Duet. It was a mix of power, domination, passion, lust, desires, love and intrigue. Book two starts right were book 1 The Royal Arrangement was left. Now Everly is on her way to Kingdom of Androvia to fulfill her part of the arrangement and become Prince Heinrich Von Stratton consort.
The scenery created by Jeana was incredible. I just wanted to crawl inside the book and have a walk in the palace gardens and rooms.
The life as a royal for Everly wont be as easy as she thought. There’s many people in the Androvian Palace ready to make her life hell. What they didn’t encounter was for the defiance and fierceness of Princess Everly.
I love the possessiveness and protectiveness of Henry over Everly. He couldn’t denied the auburn beauty was getting under his skin and burring herself in his heart.
The chemistry between the main couple was undeniable and uncontrollable. Every look and touch burns bright between this couple. The only thing that disappointed me with this book was that the conflicts with Everly’s father wasn’t explore further. I wanted a bit more action in this book. Still I did love this book and I’m looking forward to more Jeana E. Mann’s books.
4.5 stars
I was so excited to see this book on my kindle, I was in desperate need to see how this ended. Rebel Queen did not disappoint.
This book picks up right where book one The Royal Arrangement ended. I had so many questions running through my head I need answered. Everly and King Henry are married and on their way to his country. She has no clue what she is getting herself into. She doesn’t get the warm welcome she might have expected.
Henry and Everly have intense chemistry. They are both fighting their feelings for each other. Both of them are wondering if what they’re feeling is mutual. You do not want to miss the conclusion to Henry and Everly’s story.
I highly recommend this duet!
I absolutely loved the story of Henry and Everly. I liked that it was more than just a royal romance of convenience. It was twisty and full of love. Each time that Henry feels himself actually falling for Everly tho, he pulls back because he thinks that a king shouldn’t put anyone before his country. He doesn’t want to get his heart broken again and he doesn’t want to get distracted. Day by day it becomes more clear that Henry is giving pieces of his heart to Everly, but what will she do with them? I loved this defiant Queen and her broody King.
