I listened to the audio version of this short follow up to The Cowboy’s Reality Bride. It is a short story that continues the story of Tyler and Laney as they discover there is a baby on the way. It goes through the birth and the problems Laney had with the pregnancy. It was nice to follow them past the wedding. Another good narration by the author.
I was given a complimentary copy of this audio. All thoughts are my own.
What a wonderfully written story! So realistic! Being scared when situations like this arise is expected but the calmness she held was unexpected. To keep the faith that God will get them through is also great. A definite must read book!
The Reality Bride’s Baby: The Blushing Brides Series was a great read by Lorana Hoopes. Tyler and Laney met each other on a reality dating show. They had their celebrity wedding and never know what else could be in store for them. This was a great follow up story to The Cowboy’s Reality Bride. I can’t wait to read more by Lorana Hoopes.
A terrific story and fitting epilogue for ‘The Cowboy’s Reality Bride’. I loved how Ms. Hoopes woven the christian belief into the story naturally and seamlessly. It is very realistic. She also did great job narrating.
I recieved a free Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.
The Reality Bride’s Baby (Blushing Brides #2), my seventeenth incredible read from wonderful Christian author Lorana Hoopes. The author’s Texas roots show as her books are set in The Lonestar State. This is another amazing Christian read, God’s hand is apparent throughout the book, if there’s a flaw in this book it’s that it’s too short, After having read The Cowboy’s Reality Bride (Blushing Brides #1) I wanted to read more about Laney & Tyler and was pleased to find there was a sequel. I don’t do spoilers though so you’ll have to read it and find out for yourself! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing. Lorana Hoopes’s talented self-narration & Texas accent/drawl adds to the well-written book’s enjoyment as no one knows her characters like the creator. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series, Ava’s Blessing in Disguise (Blushing Brides #3). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 – July 24, 2018).
The Reality Bride’s Baby is quite short as it was only intended to be an epilogue for The Cowboy’s Reality Bride. This story is written with all Ms. Hoopes usual charm. We get to see Tyler and Laney as they move toward their big day. Of course, the path of true love never runs completely smoothly. This is a very satisfying extension of the first book.
The Reality Bride’s Baby
A Clean Romance Short Story (Blushing Brides, Book 2)

I love catching up with characters and this short lets us see Tyler and Laney after the reality TV show. The two are having a baby, and boy are they happy. But as we know, pregnancy and birth is never as expected and this short has it’s worries and smiles. I really enjoyed their journey to parenthood. Lorana Hoopes continues her narration of their story with her wonderful voice. There is nothing better than hearing the characters as you have come to know them, and she brings it all to life just as it is meant to be. I loved this quick listen.

A wonderful little short sweet extension story of the Cowboys Reality Bride story. I loved this little Christian extention. In listening to the different voices that were portrayed really made me feel the faith they had while experiencing a hard situation. The changing of voice with a little country twang made it so much more real. This was a peak into Tyler and Laney’s experience through the unexpected pregnancy and birth of their first child approximately two years later. It was so realistic feeling that I really felt the power of love and prayer through their happiness and fears as faith is put into God’s hands. I voluntarily listened and reviewed this great well written bonus with drama, excitement, love, fears, calmness and above all else faith.
I love seeing how Tyler and Laney’s relationship grew and now a baby is on the way. The faith depicted through the story is a positive in my eyes. I love the doctors take on a C-section; it certainly doesn’t mean you are less than like so many people want to believe. I just wish it was a longer story!
This a sweet and scary story about Laney and Tyler from The Cowboy’s Reality Bride’s pregnancy with their first child. Hers did not go smoothly and I held my breath and worried with her through the scary moments. I have never had a baby and I learned a lot about the whole experience, the highs and the lows. The author narrated this story and she had a smooth and sweet voice with some country accents thrown in.
This is the peek into Tyler and Laney, from The Cowboy’s Reality Bride, and their life after the wedding. The answer to “I wonder what happens next”. It is a quick read, or listen. It was not just a happily ever after, the reality of how sometimes we need faith to have peace, while a God works out the details.
A short, but delightful story!
This is a follow-up to The Cowboy’s Reality Bride. It’s always fun to read just a bit beyond the book, seeing how things went, afterward. Lorana does a good job of satisfying that peek into the lives of the couple!
I enjoyed this follow-up to book 1 about the birth of Tyler & Lansey’s baby. Birth’s don’t always happen like “normal” but this one at least does have an HEA. I received a free copy from the author. This is my voluntary, honest opinion.
This book picks up the story of Tyler and Laney about 2 years after their marriage. Laney is pregnant in this book but her klutzy way this time caused her doctor to find that there is a problem and off to the hospital she is sent. The fear and helplessness in Laney and Tyler’s voices tell the severity of this condition. It is an exciting book with the birth of their first child. You feel both happiness and fear as you read it but the most wonderful part is their faith in God. The power of prayer is prevalent all through this book. It is a wonderful way to see how their getting together had come full circle.
I fell in love with Laney and Tyler from The Cowboy’s Reality Bride. An unexpected pregnancy with some scary complications made this an interesting story that pulled on my heartstrings. Read the book first to get the most out of this story. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion of this delightful read.
