derivative and unimaginative — have to force myself to complet the “nine” bookd — which were more like none chapters
Just so so
Set a hundred years in the future, it has current technology as the state of the art; unrealistic.
A well done tribute to Lee Childs’ character. Great premise, well executed worth the read
The first few books had basically the same plot line.
Kind of interesting. Not at the caliber of a real Reacher novel. Sort of an odd wannabe.
Kind of a lark with the premise of Jack Reached clones but the story keeps moving and is enjoyable.
This was a strangely written book, couldn’t make up it’s mind whether it was a thriller or science fiction. As a thriller, the writing was quite good with well described action. As science fiction it was just plain weird and unplausible.
I just read this first book of a series. It is not quite as good as the original Jack Reacher but I have read all of those , so this is something new.
I don’t get it. In the introduction, the author states that the main character, Rock Wahlmann, was born in 2057 and is now 40 years old which, by my calculation, sets t he story in 2097. Yet there is no new technology or transportation or medicine so why the huge leap in time? I read the first story and am sorry I wasted even that much of my time.
Nothing new. Big guy gets confronted with bad people, he kicks ass.
I’m a fan of Reacher.This isn’t Reacher.
I had a tough time laying it down!!
I read all the books could not stop at one or two had to see for my self. Loved all a lot going on in the series. Thanks for the great reads. Perry
