Childs might have authorized it but I just can’t get with the story line. The REAL Jack Reacher stories are just so much better. Sorry.
so, so
Predictable. Basically seven chapters to one novel.
It wasn’t Lee child but it was still pretty good. Takes a bit of adjustment but fun to read
The books were interesting and a quick read but I don’t think used alot of imagination on “futuristic” concepts. Some of the escapes and turn of events were a little hokey. The reference to Jack Reacher is not really relevant.
poor relation of Jack Reacher. The future was not different than the present day. If you look at 1940, there has been a major changes in the world. Tthis story shows little change from current world
Couldn’t get interested. Cardboard characters and dull plot.
Tragic, in the sense these are terrible additions to the Reacher opus. Trite, formulaic, unimaginative. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED!
I’m not much on futuristic novels so it was just o.k. For me. I am a huge Jack Reacher fan so it all worked out.
Typical Jack Reacher book. No surprises.
I enjoyed the Reacher books, this is similar but more violent
good read, fast pace and action packed.
Novel was set in 2098, but prices and situations didnt seem right.
Crazy book
Love it – I’m still reading the last books! So much like the original Lee Child novels but with subtle twists (it IS 100 years into the future, after all). Rock is so much like Jack. I can’t wait to finish, but then I’ll be sad to finish, as it is so well written and engaging.
I read this book because I am a Jack Reacher fan, and was very disappointed. To me the book was boring and too predictable. I very nearly didn’t finish it.
