There are times when live isn’t enough. When scandals and threats are more lethally dangerous than getting the next big scoops, things get real – and really scary
Intense emotional and action read!

This was a really good read. It’s the first Maplewood book I’ve read, but it won’t be the last!!! I’m really looking forward to the other books in the series. This is a great stand alone, and I wasn’t lost at all by not reading the previous books. Maplewood sounds like a great place to live and visit, and I’ll enjoy going back there in the other books! Can’t wait to read more!

Take one reporter and one mountain man and what do you get?
Keegan spots Bo when he is shopping and let us just say the guy has it bad. Well, they end up dating but now Bo is wondering where they are going and kind of mad at herself for telling him she did not want to get married. Maybe it was time to leave and go to Tucson. These two just cannot seem to get it together. I loved it Ms. Bromke has written a story that is so realistic with characters that are just like your neighbors. The twists the author put in were brilliant I enjoyed every minute I spent reading this gem. I hope you pick it up and enjoy it too. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
I really enjoyed Bo and Keegan’s story and while it did start out a little bit slow once I got into it I did not want to stop reading. This is a good sweet clean romance and a great book to curl up with for a lazy hour or so. It was a wonderful addition to the series.
This is a well written book with strong , well developed characters with a strong connection and chemistry in Bo and Keegan. The author does a great job moving the story quickly and smoothly and describing her scenes in vivid detail. She brings an enjoyable story with all the feels. Well done.

Bromke has done it again! This author has delivered another sweet, small town romance with characters who are completely heartwarming.
I grew up in a small town and now live in a busy, thriving suburb, but this series sends me back to simpler times in a beautiful mountain setting with familiar friends. The root of the warm fuzzies for me is the feeling of nostalgia. Bo and Keegan struggle to articulate their feelings, as they don’t know what they truly want from their on-again-off-again relationship, but a deal and a challenge help to put things into perspective and I loved watching them recognize their priorities and deep down desires. Their conflicting jobs brought a lot of entertainment to the story, and I especially enjoyed reading Bo’s articles.
This beautiful romance and relationship is so sweet and pierced my heart with its lazy tendrils of friendship, old-fashioned values, and respect. My soul now craves to live in Maplewood.
Content: mild romance with some light innuendo.

This is a clean romance story set in a charming small mountain town. Bo and Keegan knew each other while growing up in Maplewood. Keegan stayed in town while Bo left town to become a news reporter. Eventually Bo moves back to town and their friendship grows. The characters are well written and the town sounds so charming that I would love to visit it and attend their annual Ranger Round-Up. The rangers each participate in making a certain dish and the judges decide who wins! Read and enjoy the book to find out what the dish is and how Keegan did!

I really liked this book! Characters seemed well developed and story moved at a good pace, except, I feel like the proposal happened kind of sudden compared to the rest of the story. Even though tourists can create havoc on The Mountain, the story makes me want to go there.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my honest, unbiased opinion.
This is a well written book that grabs you on the first page. Bo and Keegan’s story was joy to read. This is the first book I’ve read by Elizabeth Bromke, but it won’t be the last. I received an ARC copy of this book and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.
This was a wonderful story about Bo and Keegan. It got you into their lives and secrets but kept you wondering what was going to happen next. The author has a gift for getting the reader right to the heart of things. Bo, a journalist and Keegan, a ranger have two separate lives but want to be together except for the fact Keegan is not ready to commit. Keegan is hoping for a promotion but doesn’t want Bo to interfere and ruin things for him. Can these two finally come together and make a new life? You will have to read this great story to get your answers. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
