great read
Love these books. They are stand alone, but you want to read the next book to see what happens to the rest of the family.
This cowboy family works together to build a ranch in Montana. The dynamics between brothers and the girls they love makes for some interesting reading.
It was realistic. Enjoyed
A story with potential but with serious problems thrown in – a bulldozer of a father, a weak-spine mother… and mehhill from there. Probably my fault but I couldn’t connect with the characters and it makes hard to “live” with them or get interested in their story. I’ll look forward to read further of the author as I’m sure I’m to fault in the lack of connection. I love those here’s-your-son/daughter stories
An alpha male if I ever saw one!!! Traditional family love and values unite and tie family members together. A second chance love story.
Eli Merrick heads home with his brothers to empty out the old family farmhouse. Each brother going to move forward on new land and build a new family legacy. Little did Eli know that he would run into a new family member. As they were pulling up the drive they noticed a teenager who looked surprisingly like the Merrick brothers. Life gives Eli a big wake up call. You’ll fall in love with the Merricks of Montana and Piper Beauregard. You won’t want to put this book down!
A 16 year old secret brings Piper and Eli back into each other’s company. Good contemporary western romance. Always enjoy the books set in Marietta, Montana.
Ebook from net galley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.
This is the second book in the series (no you do not have to read book one but let me share Book 1 is REALLY GOOD) okay one to Piper and Eli’s story. Oh boy, Piper my darling you are going to have to Cowboy UP and do some explaining my dear. And VERY quickly too. I am very surprised no one noticed in the first book. Eli and Lucas spend a great deal of time skirting around issues in this book and that issue is Piper. BUT the thing that no one can deny gets Piper and her 16 year old son Tristen and all their belongs to Marietta with the Marricks to set up house on the new Ranch that is being built. This is a book that is about a true second chance love. One that the two involved in might not have realized that they even were planting those seeds that later bloomed. Yep, I am being so vague but let me say this is one of those books you just need to read. Honestly I recommend starting with “The Bull Riders Redemption” and move on into this one… and into the next when it comes out.
When Eli got a look at the young man helping his brother Chase move a cabinet out of the old family home one look told him Tristian was his and the boy is sixteen years old. Steaming mad he marched in the house looking for Piper his brothers ex girlfriend from high school who he comforted when his brother Lucas broke her heart. He didn’t know about the child but he was going to make sure he took care of him now and Piper too. Piper felt bad for never telling Eli but she was young and scared and afraid Eli would reject her. This story was full of love and misunderstandings but the sense of family was there the whole time and you had to finish it to see what Eli and Piper would do.
