I thought I was going to be bored, but I ended up really liking it.
The only thing that bothered me was thinking she had a spine, but was willing to obey Prince Clarkson’s every whim instead.
Would have liked a longer story but it was good.
This novella did a great job of adding some depth to the characterization of both the King and Queen
I should start by saying, I’ve not read any of the rest of the Selection series yet. I prefer to read books in chronological order, so I tend to read the novellas/prequels prior to reading the main story. So, this review is just based on The Queen and my not having any knowledge of how the rest of the series will play out.
