Goes deeper into emotional status, introspection and positive change as the H & h get to know each other. Entertaining read.
enjoyed it very much – its fun when the two main characters learn and grow with each other.
The characters were believable.
A fun romance.
part of a series, but can be stand alone book too! Characters explained well.
This is a fabulous historical romance! I loved the characters and the strong family and friends.
wonderful characters who I just loved Interesting word play
While I would not classify this as a romp, it had me grinning and laughing. Following a frustrating first season Harriett is suffering a bit of boredom after a week alone. Getting ignored and splashed with mud while on a walk, she’s none too happy to discover the culprit is Lt Jamison, the expected visitor of her absent hosts. She’s determined to discourage his staying, but her attempts keep backfiring. A humorous war of wills!
Neighbors Mr. and Mrs. Bidding are delightful supporting characters realistically drawn.
