Predictable, but fun. I like the author’s use of more characters than just the main one or two. I feel it adds a bit of depth to the story. I dont generally delve into these types of serial stories, but I will likely read the next one and see what it brings. I’d recommend it to anyone that appreciates the Doc Savage / Dirk Pitt type of stories.
Thé author was successful in creating a suspenseful atmosphere but book became less interesting due to unrealistic premise.
An interesting and fast-paced read.
Crystal Skulls…kind of Indiana Jones. Fun read
Always entertaining
A very exciting new author and series for me. Hard to put down from the start, with great characters and an exciting adventure.
Unbelievable in ways, yet believable in others. Makes you think how power can be used to manipulate.
A fun, quick and easy read that had me turning…well, swiping the pages as fast as I could. Very entertaining…I’ll be looking out for more from this author.
Fun read in a series.
“Protocol” is a stand alone book of several character driven series introducing Prof. Acton and the Delta Force. The pursuit of powerful artifacts by archaeologists, ancient orders and governments leads to a messy, murderous chase over time and continents as each group follows their “protocol”s. Kennedy gives voice to the perspective of all parties in this fast paced thriller based on real objects. A very good ride.
had a little bit too much blood-killing-guns-military-special forces jargon. Otherwise, it was a good read.
too many characters. Got to the point where I felt like I had to start over and write down who belonged to what group and what side they were on. Not much to the story itself but a lot of killing and running around.
You are drawn into the world of intrigue immediately. This story is fast paced and entertaining. A reminder of how scary it would be if one person alone had ultimate control and the chaos that would ensue.
It was ok
Sorry was OK. The premise was weak in my opinion.
Surprise ending!
I very much like Kennedy way of writing!
Fast moving
Makes you wonder about the possibilities
A cleverly written, entertaining read.
