History is on repeat… as a god, every little choice he makes can reshape the world for the better… or worse. And in meddling with the Titans, Seth may have just set into motion catastrophic consequences that will force the Olympians to enter the mortal realm and reshape the delicate balance of power that keeps the world from total collapse.
A price must be paid…
Entombing the Titans is Josie’s top priority. After all, it was what she was born to do. But the plans her father put into play to help her are no longer an option, and the odds she and Seth face in forging their own path are grim. The escalating violence between halfs and pures only increases the danger closing in on them and their friends. Josie knows their chances of succeeding in their task are slim at best — and if they fail, they might lose everything. But she also knows she’s not fighting just for herself — she’s fighting for the man she loves, for their future, for the world. Together with the Army of Awesome, Josie and Seth will face the unthinkable. And to win this war, the ultimate sacrifice must be made.
For the end is here and the Prophecy will be fulfilled….

Gods! I’m a mess… I don’t even know where to start reviewing this book. My heart is still beating like it’s going to come out of my chest and I still have tears in my eyes. I expected an epic story and memorable ending to this series, and I certainly got that, but boy, I was so not prepared for what hit me.
I wanted to jump straight in and finish this book in one sitting, eager to see what this story would offer, but at the same time I wanted to devour each word and take my time in this world. I’ve been with these characters for several years now, lived their stories, felt their emotions, suffered and loved with them and knowing this was the last installment in this series made me feel like I was saying good-bye to an old friend. And I kind of was…
The story continued right where it ended with The Struggle and it was like I never left this world. I was right there again, surrounded by all the godly creatures, trying to figure out how to entomb the Titans, trying to save the world. And of course in typical JLA fashion there were the intense battles combined with some small and big twists that made me bite my nails. There was the sexy banter between Josie and Seth that made me grin like an idiot. Then there was the bromance between Seth and Aiden and all the witty comebacks to the Gods that made me laugh out loud. But above all was the love in this book. It was completely and utterly breath-taking to read –the devotion, the hot passion, the steamy scenes, the quiet acceptance of the other. It was the perfect combination of everything I look for in a book and then some.
Josie was still this strong, defiant, badass girl I started to admire throughout the previous books. She was a bit shy and hesitant in the beginning, but she grew into a confident, determined woman and completely thrived in this final book. I felt sorry for all the things she had to endure. She certainly suffered a lot of pain, but at the end, she was stronger than before and turned into a character to look up to.
And Seth…OMG Seth! Swoon, sigh and repeat!
I have to admit I wasn’t a fan of Seth in the Covenant series. There was time that I truly hated him and wanted to strangle him. There were times I wanted to slap him in the face in here too, but boy, he completely redeemed himself. He was still his cocky, a bit arrogant, somehow annoying self, but his character development throughout this series was truly remarkable and he absolutely and irrevocably stole my heart in this book. He was so caring, patient and overprotective of Josie and his love for her – so selfless and pure, was flowing freely from the pages and simply melted my heart.
They both grew a lot in this series and become better persons individually, but they were truly amazing together. They were just destined to find each other, because it was their love that took out the best in them. They made a lot of fateful decisions in this series, they certainly made some bad choices and some that completely changed the course of this story. But at the end the real question was how much each one of them was willing to sacrifice to protect the ones they loved?
But will their love be enough to change the Prophecy and what price are they willing to pay to save the world and the people they love? You need to figure that out for yourself, but prepare yourself for the unthinkable and be sure to have a box of tissues nearby.
This was without a doubt the most emotional of the 4 books in this series. I was a sobbing mess the last part of the book and I had to put my kindle down a few times so I could compose myself. The power of the words, the feelings behind them, the emotions flowing from the pages completely stole my breath away. And just when I thought I pulled myself together for the epilogue and I was holding my tears back like a big grown girl, and the dam broke again on the very final words… and I was wiping my eyes again… It was certainly a beautiful, although somehow bittersweet ending that won’t leave you indifferent.
A powerful story of love and absolution. Of heartbreak and loss. Of devotion and sacrifice. Of new beginning.
The Prophecy is the fourth and final book in the Titan series. Oh my gosh the conclusion to this series was just epic. I just couldn’t put this story down and I was just captivated by everything that was taking place. The author truly outdid herself with this story. This story just had my emotions all over the place and I am so sad to see this series end. I hope the author will revisit this world and its wonderful characters. I just can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.
“What I feel for you increases every waking moment and sometimes it scares the hell out of me, but I love you. Yesterday. Today. A thousand tomorrows from now, I will be in love with you.”
“Love usually doesn’t make people better. People want to believe that it does, but in the end, love usually makes people selfish.”
The Prophecy continues with Josie and Seth trying to find the last demigod and figure out a way to entomb the Titans. However there are several obstacles in their way and some heart breaking events take place. Without giving anything away let me just say that you will be thrown for a loop when certain things are revealed and prepare for your emotions to get a workout.
This book really showed just how much Seth has grown and matured and I was absolutely thrilled to see that. Seth got a bit of a redemption at the end of Sentinel but this series is the perfect redemption arc for him. Josie made Seth into a better person and that really shows in The Prophecy. Speaking of Josie, I loved seeing a female character that didn’t actually want to be the badass heroine that ran headfirst into danger but she was still brave.
Jennifer Armentrout has done it again, and given me a book that gave me all the feels. The Prophecy is the perfect ending to this series. It’s full of action, romance, heartbreak, and sacrifice. I cried so much during the last half of this book that I thought I was going to run out of tissues. Seriously, make sure that you have plenty of tissues on hand before you start this book because you’re going to need them.
“I know you have done bad stuff, but that isn’t the sum of who you are. (…) You are making amends. You have made amends. You’re not a bad person, and I know, without a doubt, that our child will never be ashamed of who his father is.”
“‘We are your family, not by blood but what exists in here.’ He thumped his fist off his chest. ‘And family of the heart and should does not leave. No matter what.’”
(Reread Review)
This review contains spoilers from previous books of Titan series and Covenant.
The Prophecy is the perfect conclusion for an absolutely amazing series. Titan series is just everything I love in Greek mythology! In this book the stakes are higher than ever before, Seth for the first time has something to fight for, not just Josie now but their unborn child. He grows up a lot in the series and we see making choices that he would never do back in Covenant. I love Seth since the beginning but is this series that makes him one of my favorites. Josie has also been through a lot in this series but she keeps fighting she isn’t like Alex always wanting to be in the front lines, but she is string in her own way and she is wicked smart!
I love the friendships this series brought. The way Alex and Josie become friends, and confidents, how Deacon and Josie became besties and its one of my favorite relationships in this world. But mainly I find hilarious the bromance between Aiden and Seth! They are never going to be best friends, but they came from hating each other to death in Covenant to trust each other and deep down became friends in Titan.
For the ones expecting an epic fight against the Titans in the end you are not getting what you want…. because it’s so much more than that. There is a final fight but if you have been paying attention you know that things have change and the fight they were planning at the beginning may not work so they have to find solutions, that’s what the first part of the book is and then when they do find answers they are not what we wanted to hear.
One character in particularly I need to talk is Apollo, for all of us that read both series we see the difference in him from Covenant to Titan and in this book we find out why he acts like he does towards Josie, I’m still mad at him for it, but once you know why you also understand a bit why.
For much that I love The Prophecy it’s also one of Jen’s books that makes me cry the most. I think I cried more in this reread then I did in the first one! The last 70 pages I spent in a river of tears screaming! But this is Jen so don’t worry the ending its still wonderful, but you will cry your eyes out until you get there…
I really hope Jennifer does another spin off in this world someday. I really love the world and the way Jen built the Greek mythology and there is a door open for another character to have its story, and it would be amazing to come back and see all the gang again! I recommend Titan series to all Greek Mythology fans you won’t regret it!

Please note: This review may contain spoilers for the Covenant series, please don’t read any further if you don’t want to be spoiled! The Titan Series is an adult spin off from the Covenant series (young adult). Eventually, (especially in this last book of the series) I really connected with Josie and Seth and was hoping they will get the HEA they deserve (Aiden and Alex still are my favorite couple from this universe though). It was such a delight catching glimpses from them every now and then. Deacon is one of my favorite side characters ever! I loved him, I wish there was a spin off series about him and Luke. Although, thinking about it now I don’t want anything shitty to happen to Deacon. So, forget I said that.. Deacon only deserves the best! The pace of this book was really good. I felt like there was some action at the right moments and there was also more than enough romance. As in the other books there was also a lot of banter and pain (yes. I most certainly cried while reading this). In the end I think everyone that needed redemption, redeemed themselves and I was really happy about that. I do still have some questions that remain unanswered… but it did not take away from the story or the ending. I am really glad that I went on this journey with Seth and Josie!

This one broke me a little bit. It’s the fourth and final book in the Titans series, and I am so sad to see this story end. I was laughing, crying, screaming, (sometimes more than one at the same time) and simply living in this book. Jen Armentrout’s worlds are so engrossing, her characters so realistic, and her stories so intriguing, that they suck you in and refuse to let go. When I first “met” Seth in Jen’s Covenant series, I didn’t like him. But the way his character developed and grew throughout this series made me add him without hesitation to my book boyfriend list. Grab this series and read it today, and you will not be disappointed!!!
Jennifer didn’t hold anything back. She ripped my heart out, then she gave it back only to rip it out again. She put me through emotional wringer and I loved every minute of it.
The Prophecy starts off where The Struggle left off. They are still looking for the other demigods so they can try to entomb the titans. Seth and Josie are preparing for their impending parenthood. Did I say how excited I am for Seth to be a daddy?! Because I am so super excited. He is so over-protective, it’s swoon-worthy. And I loved their game of “girl or boy”, it was so sweet. I am so going to play that game with my husband in the future. And I’ll have Deacon plan my supernatural-themed baby shower.
I love Jennifer’s ability to take one of the most unlikable characters and turning him into one of the most loved ones. I honestly can say that I love Seth more than I do Aiden now (I am sorry Aiden). He came a long way and really became a better person (God?).
I really admire him for doing what he did so Josie and his child can have a better future. Zeus took the selfish path when facing the same choice, but Seth did not even blink an eye.
Jennifer reduced me to a sobbing mess good few times and my heart really needed stitching up by the end of it. There are some really heavy stuff going on that made my head spin and made me feel like I needed therapy.
My heart broke for Josie, she went through so much but she kept dusting herself off and getting back up. I really wish that Apollo would have been a better father to Josie, because she deserves it. There were times I felt like Apollo loved Alex more than he did his own daughter. Even Ares had a relationship with his son. Whereas when Josie call to him because she needs him, he can’t even bother his ass to show up. But I must say that Apollo really came through for Josie and Seth which has earned him my forgiveness.
I am so happy that Seth and Josie got their happy ending. After everything that they have been through, they deserved every drop of it. Jennifer, thank you for creating this sexy, emotionally crippling piece of art that almost sent me to an early grave but will nonetheless be forever dear to my heart. And thank you Mandy for taking this emotional journey with me. I couldn’t have done it without you.
Words cannot describe how much I loved this series. I don’t know what took me so long to read it. My mistake. This book had me in tears twice. The redemption of Seth was something that I knew would happen. It started at the end of the Covenant series and his transformation blew me away. I loved seeing all of the characters from the other series have such a big place in this one too. This was the perfect ending.
An epic ending to a great spinoff series! I adored the Covenant series and this new adult spinoff was an excellent addition to it. I actually did not like Seth much in the Covenant series. This one, I was rooting for him the entire time! Great authors can make you love characters you previously hated, I have to say.
I canNOT believe I waited this long to read this series.
Just when I think Jennifer L Armentrout can’t surprise me anymore, she comes out with the Prophecy. I’m not just amazed. I’m freaking awed to tears!
It has been around five years since I read my first book written by J.L.A, half-blood, and five years later she is still my favorite author of all time. I have never seen a writing style and world build quite like hers and, being a huge book worm, believe me when I say her books is one of a kind. What especially draws me to her stories is the humorous element, the sarcasm and how that helps form the dialogues so profoundly. She can make humor shape personalities uniquely and deeply in a way that is unseen. That is one of the bigger reasons why I love her writing. She is funny as all hell and she does not disappoint in this book on that department either. For being filled with so much drama and even tragedy at some points she still knows how to balance that with some lighter and funnier moments perfectly. That is what amazes me, because I know from past readings and experience how difficult that can be to balance.
Since the covenant series I have loved Seth and it broke my heart a little when the series drove to an end and he did not get his happily ever after. I was so excited when I found out J.L.A was going to write a new series all about him. I had high expectations and usually that’s a bad thing for me since high expectations usually means that the story disappoints me. Not because the story always sucks or anything like that, but because I have a bad habit of having too ridiculously high expectations that is hard for the book to meet. The titans series not only met my expectations but also went far beyond them. I could never have imagined this ending and now after finishing The Prophecy I’m on cloud nine! This book managed to make me laugh at the lighter joyful moments and cry like a little baby at the sorrow-filled I-can’t-believe-this-happened moments. I wish there was a word in the English language that could perfectly explain how amazing this book is. All I can say is that I’m awed! This was an excellent and beautiful ending that I could not for the life of me predicted going into the series. This was perfect!
And i continue to really enjoy everything she writes. This was a great ending to a good series. JLA doesn’t let her characters get their ending easily and the difficulties faced i did not foresee, though i knew it would be rough. Beware of tear-jerking moments.
Oh my Gods, the Bromance between Seth and Aiden is epic. I knew they couldn’t hate on each other forever. So obviously, I can’t go into too much, because nobody likes a spoil-post. BUT…you will need the following when reading this book…tissues and Wine (or your preferred drink of choice)…THERE WILL BE ALL THE FEELS!!! Tears, laughter, Tears, butt kicking scenes, snarky comebacks, and more. If you needed another reason to fall in love with these characters, you’ll find it in this book. But we all know Seth is the guy we secretly rooted for all through-out the series, from his very first appearance in the Covenant series to now. I loved this book. I hope there’s more to come.

Review:
My poor heart, Jennifer really put it through the wringer. I am so happy with this book, it was amazing. It tore my heart out at certain points that I’m still trying to recover from. I hardly cry while reading a book but this one brought me to tears.
I’m sad that this is the last book but I am happy with this ending.
My review won’t contain spoilers from this book but it will have spoilers from the books leading up to this one.
What is this book about:
This book continues Seth and Josie’s journey. Seth is coming to terms that he is a god and that he and Josie will become parents. As if that isn’t enough there are still Titans running around and they are not playing nice.
The gods are as helpfull as two year old toddlers so its not going very well.
The army of awesome, Deacon, Luke, Alex, Aiden, and Seth and Josie are doing everything they can, rounding up the remaining demi gods, fighting shades, you know the usual.
Everything comes at a price and the price for entombing is very high…will Seth and Josie be willing to pay such a high price? Read and find out.
What did I love about this book:
I just love Seth. I liked him in the Covenant series but didn’t love him. He wasn’t right for Alex and she wasn’t right for him. He was coerced into doing some pretty horrible stuff that he’s trying to make up for. In my mind he has totally redeemed himself. He did that at the end of the covenant series and certainly did in this one
I loved seeing him with Josie. They are great together. Josie is such a great girl who had to deal with allot.
I also love seeing Alex, Aiden, Luke and deacon again. I really missed those guys. I will miss the amazing world Jennifer has created

5 Amazing Stars
Oh. My. God! I’m speechless!! That was perfection
It was the most perfect way to end an amazing series. I was so excited to read this book because I wanted to jump right back in to this wonderful world JLA created. But I found myself not wanting to start it at the same time because I knew it would be the end! It was a crazy feeling that’s for sure. The feeling didn’t last long though; because the moment I started I couldn’t put it down.
The Prophecy picked up right where The Struggle left off. Seth, Josie, and the gang are still trying to save the world and entomb the Titans. I was right there with all my favorite characters again. Back in that amazing godly world, with epic battles, twists that I never saw coming, and of course all the banter and quick wit we love. Seth and Aiden have one hell of a bromance….yeah you read that right Seth and Aiden! Seth and Josie both grow so much in this book. Josie is a badass. Not in the same way as Alex, but a badass all the same. She is strong, confident, and she loves her man something fierce. Seth really blew me away in this book. He stepped up and really became the man that Josie always saw in him. His love for her knows no bounds. Their love really shined in this book. It was beautiful- the devotion, the passion, the absolute acceptance of the other. They endured so much, and at times it broke my heart, but their love was so strong through it all. So much happens in this book, and it is by far the most emotional of The Titan Series. Just when I thought I’d composed myself, the epilogue happened and I was blinking away happy tears while smiling and hugging this book!
Like I said this was the perfect ending to and EPIC series! And if I’m being totally honest, I’d recommend you read The Covenant Series and then The Titan Series. You don’t have to, The Titan series is a standalone spinoff of the Covenant Series. But if you really want to see how it all began, and really want to see how much Seth has grown, and really want to see how far Seth and Aiden have come, then The Covenant Series is where you should start
Bittersweet but so worth it…
What can I say? It is always such a bittersweet moment when you read the very last words of a series you have adored from the beginning. The journey began with The Covenant Series. Seth’s journey has been one of arrogance, annoyance, pride, struggle, and finally acceptance. Acceptance of who he was, who he is, and who he wants to become. Some people are born with an innate knowledge of who they are and what they stand for and others struggle to come to terms with the mistakes they have made along the way. In The Prophecy Seth finally gets what it means to be truly selfless. I always knew Seth would step up when the time was right and he didn’t fail to deliver.
The Prophecy was truly bittersweet. About half way through the book you begin to feel the build to the end and things begin to ramp up. Through out it all Josie and Seth compliment one another and they provide balance for one another. Their romance is epic and we soon learn just how much they mean to the other. There are twist and turns, there is loss, and at some point a past prophecy is brought to light. Honestly, in the end, I found I was weepy and didn’t want the story to end. I loved it and will at some point in the near future, ‘re-read both series. The ending was perfect and… Bittersweet.
