What a wonderful, wacky, refreshing book! It keeps you guessing at every turn! It is full of heartbreak, hope, drama, happiness, sadness, and jerks! Real life entertainment and adventure! If you love pugs this is a fantastic story for you! You will find yourself caught up in the story and not put it down til the end! The magic and mayhem is awesome! I loved, loved this book!
This is a great book and bares well for the new series. Wonderful characters, funny situation, laugh-out-loud moments and a sweet romance. Can you ask for anything more? This is a well written book full of creativity and character. The characters put the reader on an emotional rollercoaster as they come to terms with what they desire by overcoming their fears and insecurities. I became so involved in the book I could not put it down. If you like cosy romances with furry friends involved then you can’t go wrong with this one.
This book was a fun-to-read refreshing original story. The characters are realistic and supportive of each other for the most part. It was just what I was looking for in this crazy pandemic-filled, election-crazed world. A perfect escape. Doug the Pug was a shining star and a bright delight. Looking forward to reading the rest of this series.
I bought the first book and got the pleasant free offer to read the prequel. I read that first then book one. Loved all the characters except for the obvious two creeps (you’ll see). This is a very sweet and funny story. I just bought The Trouble With Tabbies. I’m excited to see that character develop. Thank you for good, clean fun books!
Hilarious! I laughed from beginning to end.
Cute, fun book. Plan to read more of this series
Such an easy fun read! Poor pug Doug has separation anxiety and all his shenanigans to get attention are just adorable! Such lovely characters.
If you are a dog lover, this is a delightful read… fun characters, too!
Can’t wait for the next book!
This is a great quick read. At times i wanted to slap the main female character but I was glad with her story, and the HEA. This book is for animal lovers, you can totally relate with some of the characters from the story.
Cute, sweet story!
Really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the next book in this series. This is a great funny and loving book with characters that come to life. Plus the little dogs are so cute and so are the other animals in this book.

This is sure a cute story! I was pulled in from the first page. There are well developed, interesting characters and a wonderful, well paced storyline. Easy reading and a relaxing story. Do yourself a favor and read Travis and Amelia’s story!
I received a copy of this book from the author and voluntarily wrote an honest review.
The Problem With Pugs…what can I say about it…well I can say this… It’s the best darn romance comedy I have read in a long time!!! It’s a cute story with a slow.going romance with vet. It’s a cute for anyone who is down in the dumps about relationships. This story has tiny twists and turns that were unexpected. I absolutely LOVED this story and everyone should read this series, especially if you love animals. Animals sure do a lot of good for relationships
A wonderful and fun romance. The characters are absolutely delightful especially little Doug, the pug. He’s really the star of the show, lol.
The author does a great job of keeping you wondering from page one. What will she do, how’s he going to respond to that, will that make a difference, is she going to understand that, and just so many more questions. I couldn’t wait to see how it all worked out.
I had read The Trouble With Tabbies first and was delighted to find a few of the same characters in this book! Both books are a complete stand alone but having that little connection made for a nice touch.
My only upset was when I reached the end. I didn’t want it to end! I can’t wait until the next book in the series comes out. I’m totally hooked.
I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
The author hooked me with Hand, Hart and Butz on page one! Any time an author uses humor and pets, then I’m on board for a fun read and A. G. Henley delivered. Filled with poignant moments and unselfish charming characters (Jo and Travis), as well as people (Tim and Max) we all know but wish we didn’t, the author seamlessly blends all the differences in the characters through the antics of Doug, the pug. I’m anxious to read her next installment. It was certainly a cute, fun read!!!
A laugh-out-loud romantic comedy that ticks all the boxes. I thoroughly enjoyed this story from beginning to end. Loved the characters, especially the swoon-worthy vet. Loved the heroine’s inner strength and sassy sister. A great book!
Great afternoon read! Doug the pug is crazy (having separation “issues”) and Amelia’s a mess. Along comes a sweet, caring – and hot – veterinarian. Can Amelia really get over Tacky Tim?
