The Enchanted Masked Ball, the biggest event of the year.A magical night and anything could happen.I could even meet Prince Charming and lose my v-card.Like I said, anything is possible. When a tall and chiseled masked stranger approached me, I was mesmerized.“Tonight, I want to be by your side”.We danced and he stole a kiss.It should have been one of the best nights of my life.Instead it was a … should have been one of the best nights of my life.
Instead it was a tragic one.
I was forced to run from the ball. To leave him and everything behind.
Months later, I gave up hope of ever meeting Mr. Right again.
Til I walked into his castle. And he gave me an unforgettable night.
Prince Luca wants me to stay, but we’re from completely different worlds.
How could we ever make this work?
With his heir on the way, I guess we’re about to find out…

Prince and I by R.S. Lively
Rosie is going to The Enchanted Ball her father is having to raise money for cancer. When she gets there everyone is watching how beautiful she comes down the stair. A man is waiting for her hand when she got to the bottom step. This is the night that everything changes for Rosie. I liked this story, it starts out as a fairy tale, but then turns into a nightmare. It is not your plain story it has lots going on in this book. I recommend this story. I received an advanced reader copy and have voluntarily chosen to leave a review. This is my honest opinion.
Loved this new release by R.S. Lively ,,,

I have gotten this ARC voluntarily to leave an honest review
I adore Cinderella stories and this one was really, really well done. Luca and Rosie first meet at a masked ball and the sparks immediately fly. Of course like any good Cinderella tale, Rosie was called away before they could exchange names, let alone contact info. The night of her dreams turned into a nightmare and although the mystery man was never far from her mind, she had much bigger issues at hand.
Fast forward to a fortuitous business trip straight to Luca’s family castle and despite her creepy boss interfering, the attraction between Luca and Rosie could not be ignored. They embark on a whirlwind romance and love-fest, enjoying what little time they have together on the same continent, but soon they discover that they can’t imagine life without each other.
Each with their share of family drama and family obligations their road to a happily ever after isn’t without bumps, but it is so worth the emotional ride in the end.
Luca and Rosie had amazing chemistry, their love scenes were extra steamy and there were also some great supporting characters to round out their family and friends.
Great Cinderella story! Highly recommend! 🙂
Rosie’s step family didn’t like her so they hated having her included in any family outings. So when they told her father that she was ill and couldn’t come to the ball she played along while planning to sneak to it anyways. When she arrived she meets Luca and they have an instant connection but before they can do much more than dance once she receives a calls concerning her father and has to leave. Now months later Rosie and her younger brother live together in New York their father died and according to her step-mother he didn’t leave them anything so Rosie took a job to support them. Her boss is a sleazy guy but when he offer five thousand more for her to go on a business trip overseas she tells her brother they need the money for her not to say yes and do it. However what she never counted on was finding Luca again and for him to still want her. Can Luca help her and her brother against her step-family? What will her sleazy boss do when he sees his plans for Rosie disappearing?
This is a great story that once I started it I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
Modern Day Cinderalla
Of course, I love R.S. Lovely’s books and this one is no different. As always, the characters have great chemistry and the story line is great. This story seems to have several things going on but the author does a wonderful job of keeping them tied together and it kept my attention and wanting to know what happens next. Luca & Rosie have an instant connection and Prince Luca is to die for. Rosie went from wealth to rags and has had her share of hardships. Rosie and Luca’s love story are fairytale and is one that I totally fell in love with. Their chemistry is scorching hot and well worth 5 stars.
I am curious to know Alice’s story and her connection to Reese.
I received an ARC copy of this book an I’m voluntarily leaving my honest review.
Great story. The characters were great. It’s a true love story. Some steamy scenes but not overdone. Well written. Beautiful story.
Well worth reading!
There is something incredibly romantic about love at first sight. That is exactly R.S. Lively has provided us, with the release of The Prince and I. Luca might be a Prince, however, he is looking for privacy when he comes to the United States, from Belgium, for a business meeting. Mr. Caldwell has invited him to his home for a masked ball, and little did he know, he would meet his future Princess upon doing so. Standing so lovely, at the top of the staircase, is the most beautiful woman he has ever laid his eyes on and he vows to make her his. With the evening cut short, suddenly Luca is left alone with no idea of her identity other than her first name (Rosie) and the bracelet she has left behind. Rosie has lost everything upon her loosing her Father and struggles to support her and her estranged Brother, Jesse, as best she can. This story reads incredibly well and has a great plot and truly terrifically written characters. Like a real life Cinderella. I LOVED THIS BOOK.
I received this ARC from Bad Boy Update in exchange for my honest opinion and I can not believe how lucky I was. I highly recommend reading this book as well as anything written by R.S. Lively as you will never be disappointed.
Congratulations.
An enjoyable royalty romance with an undertone of a fairytale “Cinderella” The characters are well developed and interesting with distinctive, individual personalities and have attributes of loyalty & determination when faced with certain situations, the secondary characters offer great support. The plot is entertaining with just the right amount of intrigue & suspense.
There is: a young woman whose life is turned upside down after her mother’s death & her father’s subsequent remarriage (Rosie Caldwell) a not so nice wicked stepmother (Tabitha) & her horrible stepsisters (Felicia & Gabriella), a rich snobbish man (Brandon Harlow), a royal prince from Belgium (Luca Addigton), a deceased father, a loyal caring brother (Jessie), a despicable boss (Mr. Graham Kimmel), twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, friendship, medical issues, mystery, danger, threats, memories, attractions, verbal conflict, suspicions, confrontations, medical issues, legal manipulations, devious plans, vengeance, love, happiness, steamy scenes & a wonderful happy ending.
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.
I really liked this new take on the old fairy tale, the storyline has plenty of drama and some intrigue. Sweet and steamy love story, I liked the characters and the interaction between them. It did seem to be a bit long but enjoyable none the less
I love reading fairy tales with lots of spice and steamy passion that can rock your world. Luca is a Prince and Rosie is more or less Cinderella in their story your going to find hardship, danger, immediate attraction, loss, and of course there’s a few surprises. This story is a easy read and at times will steal your breath then you’ll get your aha moment.
I really enjoyed this modern take on a classic storyline. Girl meets boy sparks fly drama ensues as forces try and keep them apart. Full of drama and intrigue a little action too, plus steamy and love struck. The author does a fantastic job of pulling the reader into the book, certainly got me involved. I enjoyed the many different characters with their many flaws, which helped to drive the story and it’s development nicely.
This was an ARC and this is my voluntary and honest review.
Entertaining fairytale happily ever after!
A wonderful ever after read perfectly written for royalty. A touch of drama, sass, intense year, loyalty, beguiling chemistry and humor, makes this a captivating alluring story for a strong perfectly made couple.
In this remake on Cinderella, Rosie dropped her pearl bracelet instead of a slipper. The story was interesting and held my attention and the characters were portrayed vividly. I really enjoyed this book, as I have all of this author’s works that I have read.
Contemporized and spiced-up Cinderella tale: lacked something
May 27, 2019
Format: Kindle Edition
I like a good retelling of an old classic fairytale with a twist but this one could not hold my interest. Yes, there’s steam but the characters seemed cookie cutter. To me, the quality of the writing and the plot did not measure up to the author’s other works, especially my favorites like The Protector, Hate To Love, My Billionaire Protector, The Mistake and Her Protector. I would recommend them instead.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Love this modern day take on the Cinderella fairy tale! Same concept, but with modern day drama, road blocks, lust and love on this roller coaster ride of emotions!
Entertaining fairytale happily ever after!
This book had me from the first page. Wonderful story, great characters, RS Lively writes another winner here!
I enjoyed this story! It’s a take on the fairy tale Cinderella with some interesting twits. It’s a nicely written story with good characters. The story is very captivating with suspense and danger. I like this sexy modern take on a classic.
