For readers who like a little romance with their historical fiction. Wickedly inviting, the dark side of life has always seduced Lauren De Beauville. I liked it a lot
Great Read
Loved the character of the king. Great plot
It was good. Not as good as some, better than others. Ending was not realistic at all however, considering how realistic the rest of the book was. Not much romance, so if you don’t like the steamy stuff, this book is for you.
Interesting and very different!
The plot was pretty far fetched at times, but overall interesting characters.
Long winded. Lots of telling me what folks are thinking instead of Using their actions to tell the story. It did hold my interest, but the writing style felt a little textbookish.
Went off in all different directions too quickly, too long and drawn out, kept thinking, “This has to get better!” Stuck with it just for there to be a really stupid ending!
