A stand alone novel from a master of thrillers. Technology, action and twists and turns abound.
Highly recommended.
For fans of Micheal Creighton and maybe John Grisham this is a fast-paced thriller breathlessly exploring the consequences of an Immortality drug. What would happen if the drug was available to all humans? What about Earth’s resources? What if the drug was available to the rich and famous? What then? Or, what if the scientists keep it for themselves? And, even when you are immortal by natural causes, there is always the chance to fall off a cliff, or a car wreck. Who is killing off the immortals. A fun read, like a palate cleanser while I quarantine for the 40th day now. Stay healthy and read!
This is one of those clever, original books that will haunt you for years to come. I loved the suspenseful, intersecting plot lines where thriller met tragedy. Tigner is talented. Check this one out!
It’s a book that makes you think and say hmmmm
I liked it. While I have not yet bought the next book in the series, I very likely will. Worth the time to read.
tenacious intelligent characters,, talk about going tne extra mile …wow. kept me reading into the night,
Thought provoking.
A very different book than I usually read but I thoroughly enjoyed it – a bit sad but enjoyable – good book club discussion book. Would you want to live forever? hmmmm
Exciting action novel. Great characters. Excellent read.
Surprise ending, did not see it coming.
This was a great premise and study into human nature. An immortality formula and how it affects the future of the human race. Loved the two main characters and the mystery surrounding the group. some of the characters back story kind of bled into each other and I had trouble keeping them separate. Really only wanted to read the MC, Zachary Chase, pov anyway. The villain was very well done-smart, tough and scary.
The author is very talented and knowledgeable.
Just entertained me
Altogether a decent read, although I found the story line a little skewed.
A group formulates a drug that keeps you at your current age forever. Do they sell it and make a fortune or keep it for themselves? Then what happens? A very intriguing premise and book. Lots of action and surprises along the way. Highly recommended.
Liked the book not the cover. An adventure story tied up with questions on the problems of immortality, definately an interesting book.
Interesting concept, thought-provoking. Lots of twists that made it hard to put down. Thoroughly enjoyable.
This is a great discussion book. It brings up lots of thought provoking ideas and made me think about what is important in life. Great read.
Interesting premise that soon fell apart. Not this author’s best, by far.
Still a good read.
