The President Is Missing confronts a threat so huge that it jeopardizes not just Pennsylvania Avenue and Wall Street, but all of America. Uncertainty and fear grip the nation. There are whispers of cyberterror and espionage and a traitor in the Cabinet. Even the President himself becomes a suspect, and then he disappears from public view . . .

If you’re a fan of Brad Meltzer and his wonderfully written historical fiction novels, I highly recommend this book for you.
If the president is Bill Clinton hopefully he stays missing .
Great insight into how government works
This was a much better book than expected. There was some very interesting twists and turns and I felt that there was information on the way the president acts and performs that I never knew. I guess that was Clintons’ inspiration. An exciting page turner!
to much government talk and i never did well in US history so all that to me was so boring.
A very enjoyable read…
Seriously?? Bill Clinton? I had higher expectations of this author.
Best book about WWII I’ve ever read, told from the women’s view, with the men as the foil for the storylines. Two sisters who have different paths to live through the perils of Vichy France, how it changes their relationship, their lives, and their very selves . I loved these “ordinary sisters” for their integrity. Unforgettable.
I didn’t know what to expect but I really enjoyed it.
Loved it! Kept me interested and wanting to know more! Great beginning, middle and end. All round good read!
Good plot, however, I would have enjoyed a third person narration. I heard Bill Clinton’s voice in a fictional character. It was distracting.
Good enough read but formulaic
Minuscule chapters like Patterson is famous for, but plenty of action. Insight from a former US President behind the story lines was obvious. Minus one star for the preaching (in the context of the president’s speech) at the very end.
I listened to the audiobook. At first, Dennis Quaid’s raspy voice’s was distracting, but I soon adjusted. I visualized Kevin Spacey as the President.
Most bad guys and plot twists were not surprising. The background music in some of Bach’s scenes was not background — it was so loud as to drown out the performer’s voice.
I found this book a great read.
Boring
This book did not represent either author well.
boring
Patterson has not lost his touch love his books.
A very tedious read, not at all what one expects of Patterson. Really boring passages that sound like a politician’s speech while running for office. Very disappointing.
Bill Clinton added a level of realism to Patterson’s fast-paced style. This is a new high for an already-popular author.
