Fast paced enjoyable read. But it is also scary that some of this could really happen!… very realistic.
It’s not clear why “The President is Missing” is the title or why there was a need to say so. The plot hardly depended on his missing. Otherwise the story moved along and was entertaining.
I liked it very much. Did not want to put it down
While the story was certainly interesting, even more interesting was to see what I believe I could identify as Bill Clinton’s “hand”, especially when it came to longer speeches. Having said that, it was a realistic premise and I believe it takes our governments total skill and awareness to prevent a real incident like the one described
It’s James Patterson and President Emeritus Bill Clinton. You get all the excitement of a James Patterson read with insider details provided by Clinton. What’s not to love?!! Read it through in one sitting. Maybe they should do this again, please.
James Patterson never fails to deliver heart stopping tension till the end! Adding a past president and the White House and presidential bodyguards just add to
the the page turning this book demands. I could barely put it down and read it in one day! Great value at $ 3.99.
Way too drawn out and self serving- Not a great Patterson read… Disappointing
I have read James Patterson books before, and even though that is not my favorite genre, I had hoped there would be some insights into the operations of security surrounding the office of the president. I skimmed through most of the book because it was very predictable. It just didn’t work for me.
Scary to think that something like this story could possibly happen especially with the current administration right now.
A must read for everyone, this book is timely and scary but like all James Patterson books a thriller from the beginning to the end. It presents a scary scenario that is possible in this techological age and makes you want to keep reading from page to page.
Could not put it down.
The final chapter is worth millions. It is such ad hoc for how our country is now. It states what our country should be. Reading it gave me goosebumps. Bravo for Clinton and Patterson!
It will make a good movie
This is a great who-dunnit. gripping and realistic.
President Clinton obviously added his past and actual real world experience to the always excellent Patterson fiction making this a great read!
As a political junkie, I loved this book…couldn’t put it down!
I enjoyed it but thought it was predictable. Interesting premise.
Kept me engaged the whole time
Interesting insight from an Ex-President
Must admit, was not as trilling as expected, still a good read.
It’s amazing!
