After the first two chapters, this story completely held my attention. It’s very scary to think this could happen in America.
This book is a real page flipper and the thought that this scenario could actually happen is downright scary. An interesting view of politics that is totally non-partisan. I couldn’t put it down and I think everyone should read this book!
Excellent book. First two chapters were a little slow, but the rest of the book more than made up for that.
one one of the best Patterson books I have read in a long time
I enjoyed this book. Not always easy to understand since I’m not the great technical person, but thoroughly enjoyable and downright scary!
Some parts of the book are a little far fetched but maybe not so far fetched. I hope we don’t find that out .
Fair
James Patterson promised that Bill Clinton’s Co-Authoring would provide an insiders perspective that only a past-President could give. He was right.
There are many moments that the reader feels like you are actually there. Together with interesting twists and turns, the book delivers on many fronts.
All in all, a very good read!
Not quite what I expected. It had interesting parts to it. The deception of one of the Presidents close knit group was interesting. I’m sure President Clinton advised portions of the story, but the title was misleading.
Although the storyline was a little far fetched, it was thought provoking and maybe it could happen. Clinton’s knowledge of the inner workings of the White House and Patterson’s unique storytelling made for an interesting scenario. I especially liked the last chapter…very impressive and very true, regardless of your political party leanings.
I cannot understand for the life of me how this book could be a bestseller. Do many clichés, predictable plot, shallow characters. Don’t bother.
Hopefully, this book might make some people (politicians) think about what’s best for the country (and the world) instead of just for themselves. It’s nice to get a real U.S. President’s input/viewpoint as well.
Didn’t want to put this down. Loved it. Engrossing.
Great read! Definitely a page turner and well done by both authors!
Probably one of the best books I have read lately. My husband enjoyed it too
Excellent read. Typical Patterson style.
Great., Clinton gave enough real life information that the book seemed to be true or could really happen. Enjoyed it very much
A very interesting bit of fiction. Keeps your interest. Many plot lines throughout the book. Many twist and surprises. I liked it very much.
As always James Patterson has hit a home run with this book. It was so good I couldn’t put it down. I read many reviews and people were making it political because Bill Clinton co-authored this book. That is so silly. It was not about him. It was a great mystery book. They did a great job.
Thoroughly enjoyed this book! It is very well written. I am recommending it to anyone who will listen.
