This is a great book with twists and turns. Easy to read and keeps you on ‘your toes’. A real page turner. I enjoyed it and have recommended it.
Entertaining. Predictable
James Patterson never fails to deliver a compelling story with characters who jump right off the page. This was one of those books you can’t put down. Loved it.
While wondering what Clinton and Patterson had in common to write a book,it seems the behind the scenes knowledge combined with Patterson’s thrilling writing really put together a page turner that I read way too fast. I had heard it wasnt too good so never checked it out when it was released. Big mistake! Read it!
Good plot and surprises.
Well-written story about constitutional crisis.
Not a fan of former President Clinton and I don’t often read James Paterson so I was skeptical but the book was good from the get go. Frightening to think the events could actually happen. I liked this book and recommend it highly.
Did not see the ending as happening.
Loved this book! Always a fan of James Patterson and this book was riveting!
Having Bill Clinton as the co-author certainly provided a more realistic although somewhat disheartening look at what is behind the curtain. The premise of the book is also a little scary when you realize how easily this could happen and the terrifying future we might face. Definitely a good read.
Rather predictable; the presidents last speech was very applicable to today.
It had a great plot, very believable for the 21st Century
Did not like this book. Very disappointing
President Jonathan Duncan for President! Even with all the fictional parts, this is how I wish our president truly were. James Patterson and Bill Clinton make a great storytelling team! It was nice, during the brief time it took to read the book, to wholeheartedly be able to root for America again!
Fast reading . Interesting look at inside the White House. I think even sometime fiction seems plausible.
This is one of James Patterson’s greatest! I read lots of thriller/mysteries and I particularly like stories with a strong White House connection. “The President is Missing” is is by far the best I’ve ever read.
There are little bits and pieces in the story that only a Resident President could know. The President’s rules (pay attention to his Secret Service Detail) and reactions are realistic and fine tuned to build a character that is believable and finely drawn.
President Jon Duncan is a great parent and a smart, brave and caring true American. He reminds me of ‘somebody’….
President Duncan appears set for a second term.
I really hope that this top notch writing team can also come up with a second term!
very much a Patterson write….scary subject, exciting ride.
It wasn’t my cup of tea. I thought the plot a bit foolish.
Didn’t expect this book to be such a great page-turner. Loved the insight that could have only been provided be a past president, added to the excellent writing provided by an excellent crime writer. Can’t wait to see what my book club says.
It was an easy read, towards the end I thought Clinton’s point of view came through loud and clear regarding changes that need to be made, a bit preachy and I’m a Clinton fan – both Clintons.
