In the small Colorado town of Summit View, a surprising multi-generational mix of women from Grace Church meet once a week to pass a hot dish and to pray. But the Potluck Club, as they call themselves, is a recipe for disaster when they send up enough misinformed prayers to bring down a church. And the funny thing: the more they pray, the more troubles seem to come their way. It isn’t until they … they invite God to the table that they discover friendship is the spice of life, and a little dash of grace, just like salt, goes a long way.
With charming, down-home characters, humor, poignancy, and a recipe in every chapter, The Potluck Club will keep readers hungering for more.

A group of gals I’d love to know in person! Makes me think about starting my own Pot Luck Club!
I have read 2 from this series, and enjoyed both.
My grandmother gave me this book and I loved it. I immediately moved to the next one and eventually read them all!! I absolutely loved this series!!!
Just ok but not great.
The plot was okay but, for me, the book was just kind of slow.
I love the characters and the mystery keeps your attention without getting gory. The perfect kind of summer mystery series! I’ve read them all now!
The story was fine, but the stream-of-consciousness style is not done well here. It stretches the story out with distracting and unnecessary details, and the in-between chapters about Clay were pointless interruptions.
Tried to be comical and failed. Quit reading after three chapters.
Loved reading this series of books!
Loved the characters in these books.
A delightful read and made me think but gave me something to use as I visit people in the hospital.
I know this is supposed to be funny, but to me it was just the kind of people who are catty and backstabbing. Not funny and not what I want to read about.
Group of prayer ladies that go through ups and downs
This story was so realistic. I think I know someone like every character in the story. It was a fun read.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The characters were endearing and I found myself wanting to know how their lives would be effected thruout the plot. Thier antics and relationships were delightful. I look forward to reading further potluck club books.
Because a lot of this book is written in first person I sometimes got confused who was talking. The characters were so different but connected by their church and the pot luck. It showed how God takes really different people and brings them together in spite of the differences as a part of the greater family of God and motivates us to forgive …
While well written I was in a constant state of cringe wondering if the characters portrayed are the author’s experience with or picture of Christian women. Not nice at all. But there was a very interesting background character.
I thought it started a little slow and at first it sounded like a group of gossipy women. But the book really fleshed out each members personality and what they were facing in life. I really enjoyed it.
I loved it and am recommending to all my friends! I’ve read all six of the potluck club books. Every one was a five- star!
This is a great, fun book to read for a church book club! I’m recommending it for ours. Lot’s of different characters for everyone to relate to!
