Fascinating! Why did we never hear of this in history classes?
The characters are historical. The story is historical and verfiable. The hero is two time Medal Of Honor winner. The author has taken the congressional record and brought it to life with the contextual background.

I originally thought it would be about the current Trump administration but was surprised to find that this had taken place in FDR’s first term. Very informative.

haven’t finished, but it’s a fine example of how to escape the current political situation and find yourself where totally different ideas, customs, and wished are at stake.
