PS. From Rascal, the dog: “Why is the dog vs. cat debate even a thing? Dogs love their hoomans more than anything. Cats barely tolerate their peeple, and they like to play scratchy-bleedy games. No, thank you!”
PPS. From Morty, the cat: “I won’t even touch on that dumb dog’s atrocious spelling. Cats are obviously more intelligent and have more discerning tastes than dogs. Silly old dogs will love anyone unconditionally, but you have to earn a cat’s love. Cats rule and dogs drool… literally.”
PPPS. From Honey, the bunny: “While you two were fighting (like typical cats and dogs), the bunnies hopped away with the ‘Best Pet Ever’ trophy.”

-Book one to three in The Pet Set Trilogy series.
There is Goofy Newfies = This is a story that will have you smiling and in some parts laughing at what these adorable dogs Rascal, Ruby, Rowdy, Riley, Red, and Ripple (a/k/a Princess) get into especially Rascal as he brings Lily a recent widow and her next door neighbor Donovan together. Itty Bitty Kitties = Another story that will have you smiling and in some parts laughing at what these adorable Kitties do.
The last one is Funny Bunnies = This story had me smiling from the first page to the last one, a bench, and bunny-nappers are just some of the things that had me smiling. A cute well written story that held my interest throughout.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Such an adorable book! All three stories feature pets that nudge the romances along. How can you go wrong? Ms. Omasta always delivers a nice story and these are quite a treat.

Three stories in chronological order about how the antiques of pets bring people together that may otherwise have never met or given the other side never a chance. Lovable and exasperating at times the books describe all the crazy things that are being done by the animals (dogs, cats and rabbits), their owners attempts to reign them in and the romance resulting. Throughout we continue to see the couples already known and their adorable pets.
I loved reading the books when they were published first – but as a boxed set they are fairly irresistible.

This is a journey of pure fun. Dogs, cats and rabbits, all causing mayhem. Best of all was seeing how they tamed their owners.

The Pet Set Trilogy was a great read by Ann Omasta. This book consisted of; Goofy Newfies, Itty Bitty Kitties, and Funny Bunnies. This book featured three light hearted stories that follow people and their pets. In book one you get a bunch of newfies, in book two you get kittens and in book three you get a set of bunnies. I really enjoyed reading about these unlikely couples and their pets. I can’t wait to reda more by Ann Omasta.
This is a well written trilogy of three short and sweet stories. Each book has it’s own unique story with strong characters and entertaining story. The author does a great job moving the stories quickly and smoothly and had me laughing out loud at times. I enjoyed and would recommend reading.

If you have yet to encounter a Newfie, you are definitely missing out. Large goofy balls of fluff, they can be very loyal.
Not much for shock and awe, their gigantic mas aside, they are indeed terrifying if you threaten someone or something they love – like their food dish or their families. Romance set in a small town filled with goofy newfies is bound to be a bit goofy too! Great fun!
Yes cats do indeed play scratchy biting games – but that is part of their job description – and you might need an attack cat if you have a scaredy Newfie around.
Funny fuzzy critters and – mostly- sweet romances are full of laughs, a bit of drama, and some fun and funny happies.

Goofy Newfies
I’m not sure quite what to call this book. It’s not what I usually expect from a romance since the relationship between the people was almost secondary in the story to the relationships with the pets. But, for anyone who’s ever been owned by a pet, that’s probably not surprising – our furry friends make all the decisions. Reading this book during the holiday season feel kind of appropriate. It has nothing to do with Christmas, but it has the feeling of redeeming the Grinch. Lily is a very Grinch-ly character at the beginning of the book. But once Van and the puppies are done with her, it’s easy to see how her heart’s grown several sizes.
Itty Bitty Kitties
This story seems to pick up fairly shortly after the end of the first book, and it feels like it was a bit more focused on the people than the pets than in that previous one. It took me quite a while to warm up to Julia. Even giving her the benefit of the doubt for raging hormone swings, she comes across as a Mean Girl, and in my mind, I was getting ready to steer Derek away from her. In much the same way that Lily’s heart grew during “Goofy Newfies”, Julia learns the value of having an open heart and forgiveness. By the end of the book, I loved her too. Not as much as I loved the fur balls, mind you, but love just the same. The love notes from the pets are the cutest things I’ve ever read – I could be convinced to read a whole book of just those.
Funny Bunnies
Rascal and Riley are back with a whole new collection of friends. This was a super fast, super fun little story that adds bunnies to the furry mix of pets we’ve already met. And the whole menagerie completely runs away with the story. Hope and Michael are a bit of a political Odd Couple; their snarky banter would make Felix and Oscar proud. In the end, they’re doing it all for the bunnies.

Wonderful Pet Stories
The three books in this set are wonderful romantic comedies predominately featuring pets. This is a great set to read in sequence. They are full of belly laughs and sweet moments. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
Light hearted adventures with a few twists. Good to cuddle with a blanket and your pets. Was a nice slow down from my typical reads, like a Hallmark movie around the holidays. But, I still lost myself in it, thus a loss of sleep to see what was coming up next.

ONE FUN LOVING TREAT!!!
OMG! Hey guys, if you’re looking for a little humor, a lot of mischief, adorable little critters with plenty of laughs, drama and all the heartwarming wonder to be had. Congratulations my friends, you just ran right into the middle of trouble. This is one awesome little trilogy that has heart and humor to keep you glued to your reader from the first page to the last. Grab your copy, sit back and relax. You won’t want to leave this baby until the last page. Remarkable job Ann, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.
I love this trilogy.
The characters are adorable and so sweet.
The plot is delightful and makes the reader feel good.
These three books are just wonderful. They are fun – hilarious sometimes – and loving and heartwarming and… I can keep on telling you about them, but you better read them instead. Even if they are stand-alones, they get into each other.
A ’must read’!

Happy puppies, kitties and bunnies find their lucky people to adore and Cupid launches a few arrows
Cute and humorous connected stories that ooze small town neighborliness and a true love for animals while several sweet romances bloom. Whether it’s dealing with a renegade escape artist Newfoundland puppy or meshing a new band of kittens into a dog-dominated household, or kidnapped bunnies that bring feuding political candidates to assess each other in a more favorable light, all three stories join the pets to their humans in a playful and sometimes hilarious way.
The opening chapters of all three stories are very funny and set the stage for a delightful, light and sweet read. Some of the humans find romance, others solid companionship with their new pets or new friendships with neighbors.
I am glad they were published in a set because the kitten and bunny stories would not be near as good if you had not read the newfie story first (that newfie escape artist is priceless!), and the kitty story provides excellent updates on the lives of the main pet and human characters in the newfie story, including a terrifically satisfying HEA. The bunny story introduces two new leads, but in this small town, they can’t help but tangling in the lives of the earlier stories’ characters. That said, the newfie story remains my favorite.
You don’t have to be a pet owner or animal lover to enjoy the humor and heart in this well-written trilogy. If you are a pet lover, this is a set of stories not to be passed by!:-)
I read a complimentary advance copy of the set; this is my voluntary and honest review.
I loved all 3 stories in this trilogy, they each one were so funny and helped me to destress from the more darker books I normally read. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.
Great Romance Set! I highly recommend this heartwarming trilogy by one of my favorite authors. Goofy Newfies is a very sweet romance that will warm your heart…especially if you love dogs. Everything contained in this tale is really cute and laugh-out-loud hilarious. Itty Bitty Kitties, while basically a good story, just wasn’t my cup of tea as I wasn’t able to “bond” with the main character of this story. Funny Bunnies is a cute, quick read that will keep you shaking your head at Hope’s outrageous thoughts. The author, Ann Omasta, pens FANTASTIC stories, and you will find yourself captivated by her books.
Moves way too slow. I had to force myself to finish it. I would not recommend, even during COVID stay at home orders.
