America is under attack, in the epic, post-apocalyptic sequel to “prepper themed” bestseller, .
2019. Six years after the Jakarta Pandemic; life is back to normal for Alex Fletcher and most Americans. Appearances can be deceiving. An undercurrent of paranoia and fear still runs strong below the surface; the collective angst spawned by 28 million American deaths forever stamped into … American deaths forever stamped into population’s psyche.
On August 19, 2019, an inconceivable “event” will unleash a darkness over the United States. A human darkness with a vast appetite for chaos and violence. Alex Fletcher will wake to this new world, thrown headfirst into an impossible journey. His skills and preparations will be put to the ultimate test, in a brutally hostile landscape, where the forged bonds of friendship and family remain the only true constant.
Author’s note: The Perseid Collapse is the first book in The Perseid Collapse Trilogy, and chronicles the first 48 hours “post-event,” as the characters navigate a hostile landscape to reach their destinations. Event Horizon, book two in the series, picks up where book one ends, completing their arduous trek and unveiling a harsh, new reality for Alex Fletcher.

All of Steve the Konkoly books are EXCELLENT !!!
Page turner! EMP? Nuclear strike? Meteor strike? False flag operation? The prepper was ready, but his house is hit by the tsunami. Cliff-hanger ending.
enjoyed Steves view of what’s COMMING
I actually had to buy the whole series it so grabbed me!
Very exciting from beginning to end.
This is the first book in a series. Based upon the quality of this book, its characters and the story line, I purchased the rest of the series. This book and the series are worth your time.
Great read
Good read
Both this one and the prequel left you hanging at the end. Could have concluded better.
We need more Alex Fletcher!!!
I like Stevens books
Loved it
Konkoly writes with word pictures. You can see what he’s writing. You can see the good guys and the bad guys like there were pictures on the pages. His descriptions of gunfights seem realistic and the trek of the “heroes” is detailed enough to be believable.
Do not like when a book ends abruptly, just to entice a reader to buy the next books.
Good view of the nightmare or any end of the world kind of event.
One of the Best books ever! Anyone that is trying to be prepared
for SHTF, should read this series.
Started out on a much higher level than it ended.
Sorta slow, it was just ok
I enjoyed the book but there was entirely too much winking. The editor should have caught this.
Less prepper nonsense and paranoia then most books in this genre. The author has real talent for writing an exciting action sequence and advancing a story. The author also seems less nutty than most other preppers I have read or run into. He has the same incredible love for the minutia of weaponry and must prove how much he knows but he has so …
