The devil is in the detail. When true-crime writer Alexandria Weston is found murdered on the last stop of her book tour for The Devil Wakes, a story about the life and death of serial killer Elias Pratt, fellow writer Joss Jax steps in to investigate. Joss’s search reveals disturbing details from Alexandria’s past, and a long list of enemies, each with a secret to hide. Just when Joss believes … secret to hide. Just when Joss believes she’s solved the mystery, an unexpected twist rises to the surface, a twist so deadly it unearths Elias Pratt from the grave and changes the lives of those who knew him forever.

Another great Cheryl Bradshaw book. Lots of intrigue and a great plot!
This is well written, a twist every chapter and an I didn’t see that coming ending. It explores minds and motives. GOOD read.
I like all of Ms. Bradshaw’s books just wish some of them were longer cause when I get into reading them its like I’m part of the plot!
I liked it. I got the next book
From the beginning of the book, when the characters were introduced, I was caught with the story line and kept reading until I knew the conclusion!
I have enjoyed each book I have read of Cheryl Bradshaw and will continue reading her books. There were some unexpected twists in this one(at least for me).
To much cussing, would have been a good book but for the cussing.
Enjoyed reading this
This book held my interest and i found the character devolution to be quite unusual. I usually dislike books with first-person narration and time jumping, but it was acceptable in this case.
Enjoyed good rhythm, gotcha ending
I like a good book without all the foul language.
I liked the book and suggested my husband read it , he did and he liked it also.
Just a relaxing read that’s interesting enough to hold your attention.
Enjoyed this book; writer keeps you entertained and in suspense
Lots of twists and turns. Hard to put down.
Great story and characters
A new author to follow.
Good read.
Quick, entertaining read.
