Q. What could be better than getting a billionaire for Christmas?
A. Getting THREE billionaires for Christmas!
Three Wise Men is a series of three books set in the sub-tropical Northland of New Zealand following the stories of three billionaire brothers and the single mums they fall in love with.
As a single mum who can barely afford to put food on the table, let alone fill her son Ryan’s … table, let alone fill her son Ryan’s Christmas stocking with presents, Erin Bloom isn’t particularly looking forward to the festive season. When Ryan has an asthma attack and ends up in hospital, she’s convinced it’s going to be the worst Christmas ever. Sure, Christmas is a time for miracles, but everyone knows wishes don’t really come true.
Consultant pediatrician Brock King lost his wife to cancer two years ago, and he’s convinced the love he felt for her only comes around once in a lifetime. Then, while visiting the children’s ward, he meets single mum Erin, and suddenly his future doesn’t seem so bleak.
Once Ryan recovers, Brock offers to take Erin away for her birthday, no strings attached, to give her the perfect gift every single mum would kill for—a night in an exclusive hotel. Will she take him up on his offer, which might (if she’s very lucky) end up with hot sex with a gorgeous billionaire? Or should she take the moral high ground and say no?
Warning: Includes sexual content – adults only.

Brock was such a gentleman and oh, so swoon worthy! Brock is rich, generous with his time, money and medical skills, handsome, loyal (having mourned his wife for the past 2 years), kind to children and animals. In fact too perfect to be true, but then he is a book hero so is allowed to be! Erin is a young, strap-cashed, beautiful single mother with an adorable three year old, who suffers from asthma. Although they have chatted online through The Three Kings Foundation website (set up by the three King brothers to grant the wishes of children with life threatening illnesses and to provide a 24hr helpline to parents) they don’t meet in person until they have been corresponding for a year. Within 24 hours of knowing her in person, Brock knows he wants to marry her and spend the remainder of his life with her but he knows that Erin has been hurt in the past, has trust issues and that his wealth is a huge barrier; and so he sets out to woo her through the month of December.

The Perfect Gift is a sweet Christmas romance. You’ve got a down on her luck single mum who was abandoned by her boyfriend as soon as he found out she was pregnant. She’s been on her own for over three years. Brock is a widower whose wife died two years ago. He hasn’t even thought of moving on. The two have been chatting online for about a year, purely from a professional standpoint. Now, they finally meet and it’s the beginning of the end of the story. There are no surprises, just lots of sweetness.
Great Story
Brock and his brother’s are billionaires. Brock is a Pediatrician and his other two brothers have great jobs also but they started a foundation that help children with medical care and special wishes. Brock’s wife has passed away 2 years prior to cancer and he was feeling lost. Erin was raising her son alone and dealing with his Asthma the best she could, but having the extra animal characters that Brock and his brother’s designed and use makes things easier. But Brock & Erin started talking a year before on the chat line they set up for parents and doctors to chat & help each other. But when they meet, wow.
This story begins on the internet, where Brock meets this single mom whose kid has asthma. They develop a repertoire and start chatting in a private forum. He wants more and they find a way to meet face to face. After meeting, Brock knows that he wants more, and decides to give Erin time away from being a mother and takes her away for Christmas to an exclusive hotel. She accepts and finds that Brock is everything she ever dreamed a man could be. This story makes you believe that second chances are possible.
I read this book as part of the Making Merry Collection, it will tug your heartstrings and make you smile, as Erin and Brock work their way into a relationship.
Brock and his brothers maintain a charity called The Three Wise Men, they are devoted to children with asthma and other respiratory ailments. Brock is a consultant pediatrician, Charlie is a research scientist, he has created the child-size paraphernalia with attachments of Matt’s characters to help ease their visits, and Matt is an author, he’s responsible for the creation of the cute Ward Seven characters and writes the children’s books about the journey with their illnesses.
Erin’s son has asthma and once again he’s in the hospital. She has utilized the Charity’s website for parents to chat and ask questions every since Ryan was diagnosed. There’s also a private chat window for discussions with doctors.
Brock is feeling low, it’s the anniversary of his wife’s death from breast cancer, he kept as busy as he could and now he’s settling in with a drink and remembering. His brother’s conference in with him and mention Erin’s son is in the hospital again and she’s been online, telling him he should check the site. They also confirm the hospital visits for the next day, which they do in costumes of the characters.
Erin and Brock have been talking online for over a year, and those conversations have progressed into a friendship rather than just a consultation type of interaction. This time though he asks for her number and speaks to her instead of just the instant message. Then he formulates a plan, to be the one to visit the hospital where her son is.
It’s right after his rounds that Georgia has Erin meet with Brock in a conference room. He talks her into having coffee with him and makes his suggestion for her birthday weekend. Not one to stand still this one.
Much thought is given to the offer, two separate rooms, dinner and time to herself with a handsome man for company.
Brock’s money and Erin’s insecurities cause a few obstacles, Ryan is adorable and his interactions with Brock are priceless.
I loved the way this relationship grows and the way the story encompasses both their families. The chemistry between these two is practically explosive, there’s laughter and plenty of it plus a bit of family angst.
Really enjoyed this book. The characters are so likable in every way. It was refreshing not to have a bad guy or gal to read through. Just a lovely romantic, well written story.
Boring, slow and tedious. Didn’t care to read the others due to the slow pace of this one. It was just ok.
Couldn’t put the book down!
He proposes after a month of dating?? How realistic is that? When I want to read a romance, I want it to at least feel realistic. A guy proposes to me after a month of dating, I will run the other way no matter how I was feeling about the guy. I liked these characters but the ending was too quick of a wrap-up. If I want to read about people saying “I Love You” after 2 dates or 1 hot weekend, I’ll go read teenage twitter/Instagram posts. I gave this 3 stars only because a book must fall flat on it’s face for me to call it “disappointing”.
Serenity Wood’s books are cozy and comfortable. She and her editors turn out well written, easily read romantic stories about characters the reader would like to befriend.
Love the way it was written and how good a read it was. Loved it.
Loved all the characters, great story line..
Thank You
The trilogy is wonderful and full of Christmas magic.
Proficient story teller, great literary work
Loved the book, but very disappointed in the abrupt ending on the last page. I’m sure it will continue in Book #2, but such an abrupt ending leaves you hanging???
Other than a few too many descriptive sex scenes it was a good read!
Well written. Loved the characters
Characters were partially developed. He seemed too exact and demanding for a single mother to drop everything for a prince charming. Needed a little more time and plot development for me but maybe enough for others. Looking forward to see if the next books in the series develop the characters beyond rich. Maybe a Pre-serial book about the Foundation and it’s development so it would flow into the men’s lives.
A really nice story
Loved this book
