This book was nearest to books by Maeve Binchey, my favorite author, I have found.. The characters are people you would want for your neighbors. I wouldn’t want to spoil this for anyone, but I loved the ending of the book was particularly satisfying.
Not quite as good as her others, but still entertaining.
For most books I would say I could hardly put it down. Unfortunately with this book, I could hardly pick it up. While the characters were well thought out and developed, the book dragged on and on. Not wanting to quit, I finally finished it but I won’t be inclined to read anything else by this author. The book was slow!
A light read, nothing spectacular in the story.
It started out a little slow, but then I couldn’t put it down. I enjoyed getting a peek into these neighbors’ lives.
This writer comes close to Maeve Binchys in the ability to give the reader characters you want to read and know.
This book Reminds me of a Maeve Binchy book. She makes you feel like you know the characters . Then the individual lives are woven into a story all together. Recommend this book.
This book had me thinking about my neighbors. I loved the people next door. The characters are great. You will enjoy this.
I found it was a little bit hard to follow and the ending was ok, but not how I would have wanted to end
I am so happyto find this author.
A new author for me to follow!
I gave it 3 stars because it kept me wanting to find out the ending. However, I hated all the characters, selfish and self centered. I only cared about the missing boy!
Reminds me of Maeve Binchey.
Roisin Meaney’s writing reminds me of the late Maeve Binchy. I own every one of Binchy’s books and have read them numerous times. They are like old friends. Reading this book brought me that feeling. i have recommended this and other Meaney books to my friends.
It was an enjoyable read about what can happen in 3 row houses.Lots of interesting characters.
Easy read when you want to escape a frantic life.
Liked it. Didn’t love it. The author painted a nice picture of life in small town Ireland. Characters could have been developed a little more but overall an enjoyable read
A nice easy ready.
Had a very weird ending!!!
Not quite Maeve Binchy, I was a huge fan, but a good read.
