He’s a professional hockey player that lives on the edge. I prefer to play life by the rules. I’m the personal assistant at a sports agency that no one notices. Unless they need coffee.I don’t like sports and I like professional athletes even less. I’m indifferent to the mostly male clientele, except for one.Mica “the savage” Petrov. When it comes to wild antics, Mica is the biggest offender of … antics, Mica is the biggest offender of them all.
He’s reckless, wild and carelessly charming.
I’m mortified that I find him attractive.
But it doesn’t matter because the guy hasn’t taken a second look at me.
Not once. In two years.
Mica’s career jeopardizing situation requires drastic measures to be taken to keep him in the game.
He’s got money, I’ve got debt and my boss has a crazy idea.
Which is how I found myself stepping up to save him from himself.
But at what cost?
How long can I keep fighting my attraction?
What ghosts from his past is he brawling with?
All I know is that I need to defend my heart before this big defenseman steals it away.
Can we win this game? Or is it too late for either of us?

Loved this book!
Mica Petrov is always in trouble. Not necessarily causing it, but close enough to get the blame. He’s a hockey player and just got seriously busy for being associated with his buddy Andrusha (who is family, but dirty).
Charlie is the teams errand girl who likes the look of Mica way more than she lets on. And they’ve just been paired up to do damage control to his image.
Highly recommend.
Wow! A fantastic sports romance with plenty of heat and wonderful characters! Loved it!!! I read an arc copy of this book
This is the third book in the ‘Vancouver Wolves Hockey’ series and it is a really good one! It has suspense, twists and turns, grit, humour, heart break, tenderness, passion; and shows the importance of family and good friends – this book has it all! The author took us on an emotional roller coaster; I cried, laughed, and sighed in relief through out the entire book. The characters you will fall in love with; the chemistry between them is off the charts and the sex scenes are Kindle melting. This book is unput-a-down-able and will keep you on the edge of your seat. I loved it and recommend it strongly. I look forward to the next book in the series.

I received this book as an ARC via Booksprout in trade for a free and honest review.
I loved this book. It was set at just the right pace, I read it in less than one day.
It’s a simple love story between a strong female character and an alpha male with a bit of suspense thrown in. I guessed part of the twist but not all of it.
This was a really easy read, I only wish there was more of it so I still had some left to read! It was over too soon!
This is book three in the Vancouver Wolves Hockey series. Each book could be read as a standalone but getting to the know team is so much better. This book is about Mica ‘the savage’ Petrov, he is the team’s defensemen and his wild antics have landed him in warm water and being watched by the cops. The solution, settle him down, find him a wife. Charlie is a personal assistant in a mostly male environment that is mostly only noticed when it is time for a coffee. She doesn’t like sports and definitely not a fan of the professional athletes either. Job is perfect, no distractions. Well, except for maybe one, possibly the worse one, Mica. She has been crushing on him, secretly of course, for about a year now. However, she has enough going on as she needs to repay her brother’s debt and she is struggling. When the solution comes up Charlie figures why not, she could pretend to be Mica’s wife. It’s a win, win. But well fake doesn’t always last, especially when there is chemistry and you get to know one another. Can fake become real for both Charlie and Mica?

I loved every single minute of this book! It sucked me in and I couldn’t put it down until I was done. I laughed out loud and wanted to cry right along with the characters – it was so real! I cannot wait to read the rest of the series!!
This is the first book that I have read from Odette Stone. I love a good sports romance book and this one didn’t disappoint. Charlie and Mica were a great couple. The storyline was great. It grabbed you and didn’t let go until it was finished. The suspense, the heat and the drama of this book was breathtaking. I can’t wait to read more from this author.
Wow that was a pucking inferno. Not only was it a sexy good time but I was so intrigued by the story. I already like Mica from Rory and Ryan’s story but I absolutely fell in love with him in this story. It was sexy, had intrigue, funny, and great characters. I’ve read all of the Vancouver Wolves series and I’m never disappointed. I’m looking forward to book four which is Krista’s story. Until next time y’all happy reading.
This is…this should have been titled Puck Daddy, yes I went there I’m not proud, it’s just reality. I’m obsessed OBSESSED with Mica and Charlie. OBSESSED!

I enjoyed most everything about this book. The writing was easy to read and get lost in the story. The characters were interesting and worth getting to know. The mystery and suspense had me speculating and kept me from purtting the book down. This is an adult read with lots of tension, adult scenes and language. This is a great read for a fainy day, beach vacay, or any day you want a good book that offers a good story with a good ending.
I received a copy from Booksprout in exchange for a truthful review. My thoughts are my own. 4 stars
Odette scored big with this one. Mica and Charlie’s story draws you in from page one. Mica is the bad boy of the Vancouver wolves and Charlie the PA of his agent. What starts as a sham marriage to help clean up his image turns into the real deal. You will laugh, cry, and hold your breath while they struggle through their feelings to make it real. Get ready to put life on hold until this book is done because you won’t want to put it down until it’s done.
Odette Stone scores a hat trick with her third book in the Vancouver Wolves Hockey series, THE PENALTY BOX. In this story, sports agency personal assistant, Charlie Watts, agrees to marrying hockey defenseman, Mica Petrov, to prevent him from being traded, in return for paying off her debts. This contemporary sports romance is suitable for new adult and adult reader.
THE PENALTY BOX is a heartfelt and enjoyable read. I loved this story. Mica is a good guy. He basically gets in trouble for hanging out with his childhood friend, Andrusha. Okay, yes, Andrusha is involved with the Russian mob, but Mica is not doing anything illegal. Anyway, in order to prevent him from being traded, they need to convince the team owner that he is in love and settling down. His agent, Krista decides that her PA, Charlie, is the perfect candidate for the job. Charlie, has her own set of issues and can really use the money. Unfortunately, she has had a crush on Mica and is afraid to get her heart broken.
Odette Stone did an amazing job with this story. The characters are believable and lovable. I like how Charlie had a crush on Mica, and Mica finally notices her. He is protective of her and looks out for her. Charlie is the perfect partner for Mica. She is trustworthy and understanding. The story is exciting with unexpected outcomes. THE PENALTY BOX is skillfully written and hard to put down. I recommend this book to people who enjoy sports romances and/or crime stories. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
The Penalty Box by Odette Stone is a great read. interesting, exciting, steamy and a twist,a romance story of Mika and charlie, great storyline, interesting characters with great chemistry, well done,i loved the series!

So glad to read Mika’s book! Hockey always seems full of scandals, lots of heat, strong enough to melt the ice! Mika and Charlie’s story definitely will draw you in! Another great book by Odette!
This book was….okay. I did enjoy the characters, but I get the impression that it could have been so much better if there were more time between book releases. I was a little disappointed when some of the dialogue was similar to another book, though. It’s almost like the author had a scene in her head, and in one book (‘My Fiance’s Brother 2) she wrote it one way, and re-wrote the scene for this book from the male perspective. While the scenery changed, the dialogue was too much the same:
Mica: “You need a reminder about who you are married to.”…”Do you think Andrew wants to fuck you?”…”I think he does. I think he wants to have you for his own.”…”I think you need to be fucked by your husband so you remember who you belong to.”
Jackson: “Did you forget who your husband was?”….”I think you need a little reminder.” “You think Mark wanted to bend you over the pool table and take you like this?”… “I think my wife needed a little reminder who she’s married to.”…”Don’t forget again.”
Also, there are soooooo many different dramatic storylines, and they’re not all necessary. While I did enjoy the twist at the ending, it could have been so much better had more time been given to the plotting out of this book.
This book was great in concept, I just feel like it could have been so much better.
i really enjoyed this book. I’m definitely going to go back and read the other books in the series. Can’t wait for Andrusha’s book.
Kept me engaged and on the seat of my pants.
Charlie, an assistant to a PR rep, has secretly crushed on Mica, a defenseman for the Vancouver Wolves, and is thrown from the frying pan into the fire when she agrees to marry him to help clean up his image. As the story progresses danger comes from multiple directions, fantasy becomes reality, and if they cannot overcome their pasts a chance for a happy ending will slip through their hands. Odette Stone’s third installment of the Vancouver Wolves series kept me engaged and on the seat of my pants. I can’t wait to see what kind of adventure she has set for book 4.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
This is a real pageturner! Love the storyline and the characters. Loved the chemistry between Mica and Charlie.
They are so good together. Highly recommend.

3 1/2*
Charlie works for Krista representing the hockey players when Mica gets in trouble with his team Krista comes up with a solution.
Charlie needs to find money quick but has no idea how, could this proposition help her?
A nice story with a few twists. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I really enjoyed Mica and Charlie. Mica gets himself into a bit of a bind due to his old friend and in order to respondent playing hockey his agent says that his is getting married. Charlie has had a long time crush on him and has been hiding it behind fake disdain for him. Soon circumstances put the two in a fake marriage together. Charlie has her feelings for him and Mica growing feelings for her but doesn’t want to be married ever. Watching these two characters come together was great. I loved the previous book from this author. I received and advanced copy and am leaving a review of my choice. Don’t miss this story
