INCLUDING BRAND NEW SHORT STORY ‘Compelling, addictive…brilliant’ B A Paris It was just a party. But it turned into a nightmare. When Rachel wakes up in a strange room, the morning after a neighbour’s party, she has no memory of what happened the night before. Why did her husband leave her alone at the party? Did they row? Why are Rachel’s arms so bruised? And why are her neighbours and friends … so bruised? And why are her neighbours and friends so vague about what really happened?
Little by little, Rachel pieces together the devastating events that took place in a friend’s house, at a party where she should have been safe. Everyone remembers what happened that night differently, and everyone has something to hide. But someone knows the truth about what happened to Rachel. And she’s determined to find them.
The Party is the gripping new novel from bestseller Lisa Hall.

I thought it was well written & it held my interest through to the end. I enjoyed the subtleness of the characters as well.
It was a good book. I was shocked at the ending! But I really enjoyed the book!
Exciting ending with a twist!
Wonderfully written, good story.
Loved it!
Warning!! May have slight spoilers for some. Premise of this story was interesting but some of the writing repetitive and amateurish. I felt like the protagonist came off as hysterical and immature at times. Sure she had been thru alot but how much help is all that wine going to be; and how often do we have to hear her getting sick, her stomach rolling, bile rising, and vomiting? I figured out who her attacker was early on, he was just to nice and always running into her by coincidence. So it gets 3 stars, storyine interesting, but execution not so great.
Kept me reading to the very end!
