Riveting!
Fun and informative read.
Creative writing with a different twist to the horrendous events. What could be more compelling to persuade people to stand up for their brothers in dire straits even if it means causing you harm. I believe in helping and someday I may need some help. I know there will others left to help me.
Action packed, suspenseful, light hearted and World War II scary all at the same time. I enjoyed it thoroughly!
Kept me reading. Recreated real life experiences of a very sad time in the history of Europe.
Couldn’t get into it
Sometimes far fetched
I got drawn into this book, admittedly reluctantly. I kept stopping to research historical facts. It was a fun story to read, although sad in remembering that time in history. I plan to find sequel
Kept me very interested but the ending was a major disappointment.
I love this historical novel and the characters dealing with the situations in Europe in World War II time period. It brings that period to life and allows me to experience the fear and pain of the Nazi’s.
I loved this story and cannot wait to read the next book. The characters were funny and very human. Interesting use of history and fiction to create an interesting and unique story
Great author. Clean reading
Hard to put down
The history is interesting to me. A good mystery. A good story.
Great historical fiction surrounding the beginnings of WWII
I hate books when the female is made to look like an idiot–I’m not a feminist. This story which should have been a serious tragic description became instead a keystone cops farce of stupidity. Not worth anyone’s time.
Not great. Got sick of hearing that Stella was a Bled and her husband was a Lawrence.
Great story of the second world war
The book was about the trials and tribulations of delivering a package, but, you have to buy and read the next book to find out, maybe not even then???
