The Paris Package
This author made me feel like I was there along side of Stella. She made the Nazis and all that happened real, which it was. It makes one wonder how anyone could survive that. If you enjoy fiction about this time, you should read this book.

For a book listed as historical fiction, this was very unrealistic. It made the events of WW II and Nazis seem meaningless and trivial. It was disappointing and did not compare to other novels set in the same time period.
Great story, BUT … the author didn’t wrap up everything at the end and there was no real conclusion (to get that you have to read the sequel). I don’t like to be teased into reading the rest of the story in the next book. This is my main beef with series.
This book as well as the others in this series are wonderful. Insight into peri-WWII Europe and an unexpected somewhat reluctant protagonist. A page turner. But great characters wonderful descriptions and plot twists. I certainly hope more stories in this series emerge!
Tragic, realistic and yet entertaining. Look forward to the following books of this series.
i liked the book, but the end left me hanging, waiting to see if there is a sequel.
Good story,
The main character is like a female James Bond. She gets out of every death defying situation.
Real page turner. I read the whole series, but I’m not happy with the ending.
A little impossible to believe, but nevertheless, entertaining.
I found this book to be original in telling the reader about historical events. It was entertaining in the plot and in the personalities of the characters.
It gives a good view of Hitler tying to take over the world by getting rid of the jewish people. Scary to think how easy he was succeeding.
Interesting plot topic with too many improbable, unbelievable plot twists. Unsatisfying ending demands buying the next book in the series
Loved this. Nothing revealed at very beginning but then it takes off and never looks back. Loved the heroine of course. Story is very revealing in history and feelings at the time. Ordered next story too and it’s just as rocking!
Good story with lots of action.
As a fan of the Mercy Watts books, it’s great to start learning the back story of Stella and Nicky Bled and their attempts to help Jews caught up in the Holocaust.
Excellent book. It kept my attention until the end.
Great story
Despite a convoluted plot and somewhat undeveloped characters, this was a very enjoyable book. Keeping in mind that Stella is only 18 and has led a sheltered but unconventional life helps. The descriptions of the locales are successful as is conveying the strange atmosphere in Europe during the early days of the Third Reich.
I liked the fast pace of the book and the romantic and humanistic aspects. Truly entertaining from start to the finish
