It all started with a pinky swear…
Linden McGregor is tall, rugged, and gunslinger handsome; a helicopter pilot with a Scottish brogue and charm to spare. He’s also one of Stephanie Robson’s best friends and has fit into that box for as long as she’s known him.
Beautiful, funny and an ambitious businesswoman (with one hell of an ass), Stephanie Robson is one of Linden McGregor’s best friends … McGregor’s best friends and has fit into that box for as long as he’s known her.
But some relationships can’t be boxed, can’t be classified, can’t be tamed.
Back in their mid-twenties and tired of the competitive hit-or-miss dating scene of San Francisco, Steph and Linden made a pact to marry each other if neither one of them were in a serious relationship by the time they hit thirty.
It sounded like fun and games at the time but as the years to thirty tick past and lovers come and go out of their lives, the pact becomes larger than life.
Sex is inevitable. Friendships are tested. Hearts are on the line.
The pact is about to change everything.
Note: due to the dirty talk and sexy times, The Pact is not meant for anyone under the age of 18. All characters in THE PACT are in their thirties, therefore this is NOT a new adult book… even though love can mess you up at any age.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the journey for these two characters. I definitely recommend this book.
First time reading this author. Enjoyed her work. Fresh.
Set in british type village. Lots of foul language.
hmm.
I think the story was made less interesting with all the steam.
Great beginning; the story tires in the middle and does not recover.
Fantastic!
Very enjoyable characters and story line.
Romantic and funny. Realistic read that makes you want to know what happened to them after the story ends.
The book was set in a part of the US I am not familiar with. I learn something about immigrants from central American and how they are treated inTexas. There was also information about the cemical industry and how different companies are concerned or not about the safety of their workers.
Three friends, both guys in love with the same girl, at least they think they are. Drunk one night one guy makes a pact with the h to marry if they are both single at 30, five years from then.
Great characters, lots of people in and out of their lives, lots of dating and sleeping around. Very emotional, tough choices between keeping friendships or true love. I really enjoyed it.
WOW! This book has everything I like in it, you just can’t put it down and I’d bet MONEY you will lose some Sleep due to staying up late Reading The PACK by Karina Halle.
Not for anyone under 18.
Lighthearted tomance, easy, fun to reaf
A bit too explicit sexual scenarios otherwise a tender love story
I enjoyed the two main characters in this book for the most part but really did not enjoy the buddy James and was frustrated that the main characters could get out of their own ways to get together. The book felt like it could have ended about 75 pages before it did.
I really liked the 3 main characters
Really enjoyed the story and characters.
Liked the premise of the story and the characters. Could have done with less of the f word. So many other ways to refer to it without being so crass. Beyond that I enjoyed the book.
Didn’t finish it – too many f-bombs and it was crude. Not my taste.
Good read.
Just finished, really enjoyed this book. I could hardly put it down the last half of book. Three best friends, two guys, one gal. A couple years after James and Steph break up, Linden and Steph make a pact to marry if neither are married or in a serious relationship at 30. Loved how the two of them take the journey to really find true love.
