It all started with a pinky swear…
Linden McGregor is tall, rugged, and gunslinger handsome; a helicopter pilot with a Scottish brogue and charm to spare. He’s also one of Stephanie Robson’s best friends and has fit into that box for as long as she’s known him.
Beautiful, funny and an ambitious businesswoman (with one hell of an ass), Stephanie Robson is one of Linden McGregor’s best friends … McGregor’s best friends and has fit into that box for as long as he’s known her.
But some relationships can’t be boxed, can’t be classified, can’t be tamed.
Back in their mid-twenties and tired of the competitive hit-or-miss dating scene of San Francisco, Steph and Linden made a pact to marry each other if neither one of them were in a serious relationship by the time they hit thirty.
It sounded like fun and games at the time but as the years to thirty tick past and lovers come and go out of their lives, the pact becomes larger than life.
Sex is inevitable. Friendships are tested. Hearts are on the line.
The pact is about to change everything.
Note: due to the dirty talk and sexy times, The Pact is not meant for anyone under the age of 18. All characters in THE PACT are in their thirties, therefore this is NOT a new adult book… even though love can mess you up at any age.

Slow, too drawn out.
The plot was very real and at time thought provoking as it unfolded and the cast treated with their dilemma however the level of profanity soured the experience.
So much sex and vulgar language I read only the first few pages.
It’s a good read. I’ve heard of similar pacts before, but the way the characters change and the twists and turns in their lives and relationships keep it a page turner and intriguing.
Good book. At times funny, sad and interesting. Good characters and story line.
I really enjoyed this. I like a romantic book that is a bit of a tear jerker. This met my requirements. I actually purchased the next book in the series. I am cheap so that means a lot 😉
Story seemed to stretch out too long.
Not much plot.
It wasn’t what I expected and I enjoyed it.
I rarely start a book and not finish it, this book is an exception, just couldn’t get into it. The characters were not developed and it was just not for me, very uninteresting
This book started out great, rolling right along, but about 3/4 of the way through it really stalled for me. Their emotional arc of “will-we-won’t-we” didn’t really change at all throughout the middle and I was hoping for some growth in the characters there.
I really liked the use of birthdays and time jumps in the beginning to establish these characters and was invested enough to finish the book.
Wanted the story to keep going!
Really not my kind of book
The book was entertaining but I think less of the F word would have made it more enjoyable for me.
This story highly entertaining, funny, romantic and easy to follow.
Boring. Went on way too long
Good book
I love the concept because I had a similar “pact” with my best guy friend in college. However, unlike the book’s ending, we both found our own HEA with other significant others who were more perfect for us.
