Book 2 in this duet is full of revelations. The secrets are unearthed, obstacles are overcome and the undeniable attraction between Finn and Sawyer continues to grow. There are no spoilers here but just know that all the loose ends are tied up and there is resolution and peace at the end.
OK so I can’t really write much about the plot as it is full of twists and turns and the uncovering of truths and lies and I want you to experience it firsthand. It is really complex but so freaking good. The heat is next level, raw, dirty, possessive but loving. I appreciated that these two were never going to be candles and chocolates. I smashed through these audiobooks in 24 hours a piece, I just didn’t want to press stop.
The narrator pairing was amazing. Lance has narrated some of T’s King Series and he gives us all the colours and complexities of Finn. He is tortured, he is secretive, he is grief stricken, he is hiding but he is also tender and a fierce protector and feels this undeniable pull to Sawyer; and we feel it all through Lance’s narration. This is the first time I’ve listened to June and I really enjoyed her performance. She embodied Sawyer’s innocence and naivety with ease. The narration is easy and we see the world through pure, unsullied Sawyer’s eyes. Another original, raw and compelling story you won’t want to put down.
Omg this book was EVERYTHING. Finn will absolutely make you swoon hard. Finn & Sawyer are absolutely a couple you want ever forget. Truly a remarkable story that had me hooked and never wanting too stop reading. This book will definitely give you all the feels. A phenomenal story with phenomenal characters. I wish I would have read this sooner. Definitely a 5 star, must one click right now read.
I took a hiatus from this book and I have no idea why. I remember really enjoying Outliers, but I never finished it. Deciding to pick it up again I was instantly sucked right back into the story and the characters. I forgot how much I loved Finn and Sawyer and all of the side characters. TM Frazier did amazing work with this duet and book two was a delight to read! I tore through it so fast, I couldn’t stop reading it! I needed to know what came next. I would love to see more from this series in the future!

After the cliffhanger that Tm left me yelling over, I was happy to be one of the ones that read this after both books have been released. Sawyer finds out so many truths in this one and I’m not spilling anything because I don’t want this review to be filled with spoilers. I will say that I absolutely love Finn, Critter, Josh, Miller, and Will so darn much. Plus, the little appearance of Jake (the Jake, from Tm’s King series *sigh*) is the cherry on the pie.
I did read some reviews for the this series and saw that it was almost half/half with people who loved/disliked…me? I really enjoyed how Tm spun this story, she was able to bring the suspense and angst that I have grown accustomed to with her writing – but there was so much love, I’m talking so much. The support from, not only Finn, but everyone Sawyer had grown close with. The plot was perfectly paced and when the crap hit the fan, the ending was even more gratifying when I reached it. I’m happy that I blindly bought this duet, because (just like all of Tm’s other books) I will be going back to read again.
Sawyer and Finn were unlikely, both broken and damaged, and I loved watching them heal with each other. Knowing it wasn’t going to be easy and fueled by the jaw drop at the end of the first book, I inhaled this one!! Watching their relationship progress while fighting demons, and enjoying the secondary characters oh so much, it made for a wonderful weekend escape!! So many feels!!

I couldn’t out this book down. Was on the edge of my seat threw the whole series. I just love Finn and Sawyer. They were meant to be together. I just love all the characters in this small town. Can’t wait to read what this author writes next.
I loved this book! This was the conclusion of Finn and Sawyer’s story and I love how TM Frazier wrapped everything up in such a satisfying way. The storyline was fast paced and kept me turning pages. I had to finish this book in one sitting. And the characters have all stolen my heart. Finn and Daeyer were so perfect. And the side characters were just a so important to the whole story. I loved that justice was served and everyone got their happy ever after. Everyone needs to read this book!
Continuing where book one left us hanging; it didn’t take long to slip back into the world of The Outskirts. I have loved all the characters in this series; they were engaging, kept my attention and thoroughly entertaining. This was the perfect ending to the duet.
Told from a dual POV; the book is steady paced as the plot begins to unravel – TM style.I love TMs writing and she always has those little twists and secrets that keep you hooked until the very last page. It’s gritty and full of revenge – the perfect mix for a thrilling ride. If you haven’t read this series then one click now!
This book was great, I was hooked and loved the fanale of the duet
The conclusion to the duet series and it will make your head spin! I really fell for Sawyer and Finn and I am glad I got to read the next one in a matter of weeks apart ‘cuz I was dying to know how this one would end. It was all I could ask for and more. Loved their relationship and how it was written. I do hope we get another one, one of the sidekicks ‘cuz they deserve a story too 🙂 Another hit for me!
The threat that is Sawyer’s ‘father’ is still out there and she doesn’t know when he’ll be coming for her. But with Finn and even more people around protecting her, she has nothing to fear, or does she? Secrets will be laid to bare and she’ll finally know the truth about her real past. And when the day comes that Richard will be in town, she’ll have more than her own to fight for…
Nobody is braver than a giraffe that ventures into a Lion’s Den , to save her family.
Sawyer had a steel backbone always, just needed to flex it every now and then. Book 1 ended in a cliffy, but book 2 continues. The Wow and Omg factors are in full glory throughout, I gasped out loud at many places and doubled up in laughter at others. Finn proved himself to be rock solid, dependable Hollis and the swooooonthump worthy
“I love you. Fiercely. Possessively. Crazily. Always.”
Could he BE anymore perfect
The only time he lagged, a quick thump on his head with a rolled newspaper by his Dad , Joe , and he fell in line
“Life’s too short to beat around it when you can carve your way through it in half the time and sit back with a beer and a cigar for the other half.”
“That slap was for picking the apple before it had time to fall from the tree. Raised you better than that, son.”
Finn has found his forever factor. and he ain’t letting go so easy, and whatever calamity come between them is swiftly dealt with.
I loved Critter the most in this book. He’s a Daddy I would’ve loved to have. He has two decades to make up for ,in his girls’ lives and he does with all his heart and soul.
the kind of love your mother and I have is not the kind you can recover from. It’s not a cold. It’s not temporary. It’s the kind that becomes a part of yourself. Like the blood in your veins.
Caroline is “The Surprise” and you’ll learn more about her mettle and mother spirit .
Sawyer is the Belle of the Ball, the Apple Of her Father’s Eye. Everyday she’s learning about the modern , real life that was denied to her . She keeps up with it at a steady pace. She’s brave, smart, loving, generous.
A special thank you to Bridgett, Sandy Bennett and Jackie .
A very tough subject was dealt with in this book. The dreaded ” MANFLU” , deadlier than the Black Plague. Miller falls prey to it and symptoms are severe – slight sneezing and coughing , no fever though !
Josh is poor sexy nurse who has to tend to the patient, short of strangling him.
His choices in soup – ” Stars or Noodles”? Is what saved him
I loved the story and loved the quirky characters. The story flowed fast and smooth like a rising swamp water, had the earthy smell of outskirts and beauty of sunshine and sunflower fields. I could picture everything Tracie wrote , such vivid was her writing . Just felt the ending was a bit rushed and bollywood style.
It’s a 4 stars, but extra half star for the epilogue of Critter and a Surprise Walk-in . Somebody hand him a box fan , Yo!!!!
4.5 Rescued & Reborn Outliers Stars
Absolutely loved the second part to this duet. The Outliers was the perfect sequel to the Outskirts.
We fell in love with Sawyer and Finn in the first books thier characters were so lovable and I loved reading about them. In this book we had quiet a lot of suspense and intrigue and I didn’t want to put it down.
So I don’t want to give away any spoilers but it is quite hard, as we know if you have read the first book that we had quite the surprise at the end and I just knew that this book was going to keep us hanging on until the very end.
When sawyers past comes back to haunt her we knew that she was going to have to fight for her future and Finn and T.M Frazier did not disappoint. There was so much at stake for Sawyer and I just loved how Finn was a broody character in the first book but got did I love him in the second book he was romantic and loving and thoughtful he was just brilliant.
I do love how we got a slight peak at a character that we loved from one of her other series. I was just hanging on by the seat of pants with this one. I laughed, I was holding onto my breath and I had a few little tears but I just loved it all.
If your a fan of T.M Frazier, you love suspense, a brilliant story line or you new to her this is a great book and duet.
Big 5 Stars for me.
I thought it was a good conclusion. There was quite a bit of religious stuff in it. I think I like the first one better than this one.
